Tsilivi Beach Hotel

Accommodation in Tsilivi

Chris D

my wife and I (young 50's) have just returned from the hotel on a self catering basis. Much better than the brochure indicated. Excellent service. Cooking facilities limited but we only wanted b'fast and cups of tea as we ate out in the evenings. Good sized rooms - sleep three with ease. limited storage space for clothes. WCs well fited out but small bath. Two pools, one brand new - three weeks old - and enormous. Lots of beds - no-one uses them until after 1000 hrs and there is certainly no need to put your towel out!!!! (it would probably end up in the pool anyway). V.Quiet atmosphere although lots of people in residence, full cross section of families, couples, young and old (young at heart like us)- seem to respect one's privacy etc. Beach within jumping distance. Lots of tavernas and bars within walking distance.Staff second to none, v.helpful (pity the reps weren't as good!!!). Sorry to have to come home. Would definately go back. Yiassous.

Hi i've just got back from Zante we stayed in this hotel and it was lovely. (doesn't look anything like it in the brochure) the main tour operators are JMC and all the rooms have air con. (you will need to get the remote from reception.) The new pool is massive there are lots of sun loungers and a nice bubbly spa.

Robert C

Which tour operators go to the Tsilivi Beach Hotel. It sounds OK

Pete M

We are due to stay at the Tsilivi Beach Hotel in one week and I need to know if the rooms (bed and breakfast not studios) are air conditioned

Ian

Hi all, we just got back 2 days ago! We ate at a different place every night, hire a car to really enjoy the island, go to a little restaurant on a cliff top at Kambi (mid-west coast)during the day - great views! Just look for the memorial cross and head for it!! Two pools at the hotel (one is massive), new restaurant, the beach ten meters away, but plenty of mozzies at night, so take your repellant!! The food is cheap, and beer even cheaper in the supermarkets!! The rooms are great, air conditioned at no extra cost, but book a late stay room if you have a night departure!! We'll be back again next year!!

Garry S

by the way the last comment was by sarah and donna from london (Dulwich) and nobody knows who a Garry Shaw is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Garry S

hi everyone at home or in work. we are currently in Zante and staying in the tsivili beach hotel but playing around on the internet from the bar next to the hotel called boleros!!! we can tell you all now that the hotel is finished and looking great, the pool is massive and fun for all!! the weather is in its hundreds and the sea is as blue as you can imagine!! we are having a great time relaxing chilling and drinking plenty!! for everyone that is coming here youll have a great time and will love it!!!!

Sheila P

Mark - you're in for a surprise! We were in Tsilivi in 1988 and 1991 and have just returned from a week there after ten years. Tsilivi stretches much further both ways out of the centre and is much more built-up with new bars, restaurants, shops wherever you look. It's quite hard to locate places you remembered from before but if you want more details, E-Mail us at shirls30@btinternet.com and we'll give you news of places you remember - no sign of Hissing Sids this time - pleased to say!!

Mark H

We are thinking of going to the Tsilivi Beach Hotel for 2 weeks in late October 2002 (leaving on the 17th October) Will Tsilivi be "shut". Also will it be warm enough for swimming in the sea. We have a little boy of 4. Went to Tsilivi over 10 years ago has it changed much? and does anyone remember Hissing Sids

Donna H

Hi it's me again, ohhhhh im so excited i am going in two days time!!!! does anyone know how hot it is???? because the news & weather on this site dont show that it's hot! and as for Tony and sarah we will see you there!!!

Donna H

Tony there is no need to lie!!! Only joking! In three days time i will be on the beach catching the rays at the moment i am in work dreaming!!! see you there T & S

Tony M

i just thought that i would tell you that the message sent previously was written by my girlfriend sarah, but used under my e-mail address,so if you look at the text,it sounds like a couple of benders are going away!!!,well thats women for ya!!!!!!!!!

Tony M

me and my boyfriend Tony are flying out to Zante on the 1st of July, and mates of ours arrive 3 days earlier. We are really looking forward to the holiday and are hoping to have a blast!! can anyone tell us whether the pool gets over crowded being so close to the beach, and whats the best clubs and restaurants to go to,and the ones to stay clear of! this would be great if you could put my mind at rest. and for anyone else travelling around the same time we will see you there!!!! happy holidayssssss......

Karen B

Now that the missus has written, Here's my two penneth worth! The complex is stunning , the pool , the beach and the sea are the best I've seen (warmest sea ever!) However the staff seem a little apprehensive as if they are worried about the success of the complex and come across a little over cautious. The Restaurant needs some work as we found on the three occasions we ate there the food and the service left a lot to be desired. If you want good quick grub try Saki and Sam's hut on Tsilivi Beach (especially the BLT!) tell them that you saw them on the internet! Other good places to eat for "proper meals" .... 1. Popeye's (get there early!) 2. Majestic proprietor excellent !(the daft bloke on the door!) 3. Olive Tree (Service slow but well worth waiting for!) Give zante town a visit after 7 o'clock, if you've never tried Warsteiner beer try it here it's expensive but bloody marvellous!

Wendy J

Building work now completed, although there are a few odds and ends to finish, but this won't effect your holiday. We were moved there after 3 days and had our best holiday ever. Superb location, fantastic pool and a stone-throw away from the beatiful beach. Planning to go back next year to get married.

Karen B

Arrived back last night, just a bit depressed to be home, the silivi beach studios are amazing it was a brilliant place with wonderful people, the taverna however needs a better chef or more staff, recommend it to anyone from 1 to 101.

Sarah B

Just got back - Great Hotel! Lots of free sun loungers and air con in the rooms!!! As we left they were just starting up the spa pool and lifts. Thanks for the help guys.

Garry S

Now it's finished it's a beautiful hotel. The pool is great with free sunbeds (1000 drm on the beach), the staff are freindly and helpful but the cleaners sound like a herd of wilderbeast at 9am.

Tom S

to everyone Thanks for the info it is very appreciated Tom Spendlove

Amanda R

I have just returned from Tsilivi travelling in the same party as Graham Cooney. I can also confirm that the building work has now been completed, the pool is huge and the hotel looks beautiful. So everyone can relax now. P.S. A good place to eat is the Nemesis.

Rimmer

To Everyone - Tsilivi Beach Hotel has finished al building work and is now open. Have a great time!

Lisa E

I'm supposed to be staying in this Hotel from Thursday 7th June 2001, and I am now quite worried about the building work, JMC and Lunn Polly told me the work had been completed on 18th May and it now appears they weren't telling the truth...can someone please confirm that it has definately been finished and what it looks like? Thanks very much...ps. also what is the beach like by the Hotel?

Graham C

The Building work has finished, and they have started to take customers as from yesterday. The place now looks beautiful

Phil A

Is there any building work still going on at the studios, as I am jetting off to Tsilivi on the 14th of June?

Lorraine M

Any more reactions before 8th June please regarding the studios?

Karen B

Gavin W

TSILIVI BEACH HOTEL IS DUE TO OPEN ON SUNDAY

Caroline

we have spoken to jmc today and they confirmed that the hotel and apartments opened their doors today, so if you're meant to be travelling soon, (karen and ian bower!!!) then you will not be moved to another property!!!!! hope that's put everyones mind at rest!!!

Robert C

We came home on the 28th May and to me it needs another weeks work.

Rimmer

Should be complete very shortly (next few days), but until them JMC are putting guests into another hotel (Hotel Petros) next to the Park Hotel in the south of the resort. Petros hotel is very nice though, probably better than the Tsilivi Beach hotel!

Donna H

I spoke to Thomas Cook and they got in touch with JMC they said that the hotel should be finished today. Thomas cook will be phoning me back tomorrow with all the info. I will keep you posted!

Lorraine M

I am also going to Tsilivi Beach Studios but on 10th June 2001.Could someone please post some info before I arrive, on whether the studio blocks/pool are complete or useable? Is there still builders rubble everywhere? How are the reps handling the situation and what if you dont wnat to be moved to the Admirals Hotel? I specifically booked here because it didnt have a childrens club and was told last week by JMC that they would have heard if there were any problems!!

Donna H

Thanks for some info! please keep me up to date on the development of the hotel & Pool. :-)

Graham C

We go on the 20th of May and have been advised that the alterations should be just about finished. If I can find a terminal, I'll post a message on this site for you to check on ! Other than the alterations, it's a really nice hotel, good staff, very family orientated!

Amanda R

Donna, I have spoken to the hotel manager about the pool and it is due for completion on 24th May 2001, which is a good job because that is the day we are due to arrive! People before 24th are being moved to other hotels of the same star rating or better so you should have no problems when you go. There is a group of about 40+ people going this year and the people you have been before have said the hotel is excellent. If I remember when I get back I will post another note to let you know if it's definately finished.

Donna H

I am going to Tsilivi beach hotel on the 28/06/01 i need to know if the pool will be finished and it is decent. i have waited all year for this and i dont want to be let down by JMC again!

Flo B

We were due to go there next week (10/5) but we have been moved to the Admiral apartments due to the building work.

Karen B

I am going to the Tsilivi Beach studios on the 3rd of June, will I have anywhere to stay.Does anyone know what the state of play is

David T

Hi...I am going with my girlfriend on 17th May and have been advised that the alterations will be completed by 14th!!! Does anyone know if this is true? Many thanks David Took

Sarah-louise N

Tom S

Does anybody know when the alterations in the hotel + pool are due to be finished Tom Spendlove

Helen P

It was fantastic. I came back from this holiday so relaxed. The beach is right next to the pool (just have to go down 4 or 5 steps). The staff are very friendly and helpful. Seemed to be lots of children there that were enjoying themselves!

Karen B
