Galaxy Hotel(Hotels in Laganas) |
My friends and I are visiting Laganas. Although I have been a few times before I'm not sure which part of the beach The Galaxy Hotel is on.
Do you turn left or right at the bottom of the main strip (Laganas road) onto the beach? | |

We stayed at the Galaxy 3rd till 17th may 2006 had the best holiday! Peter the manager is very friendly and Claude was an exellent host to me and my family. There was alot of dutch most of whom were very rude, but we also met some really nice dutch people! food is ok i could always find something even thou i am quite fussy. weather was fantastic. i would not reccomend this hotel for groups of under 30 it is more for couples and familys. but i would certainly go back maybe in a year or two. location will not be beaten. oh and beware of Florine and his shots!!!!!!!!!!!| Tracie Field (Sunday, May 28, 2006) | 1 post by Tracie Field | |

10 lads from essex not the best place 2 go 4 our type of holiday as it was all families mostly not english either. Good food and the rooms were basic but always clean (even after we got up mid afternoon the cleaners still cleared up.) 5 min walk from strip was all right and on the beach. Also entertainment was brilliant especially slammer contest and bingo. Thanks 2 all there geniuslew and the zante crew | ||||||||||

| England is not the country were we come from, we only speak it when we are on holyday and writing is difficult, so sorry if there are mistakes in it. We were here for the third time. The first two years we where just with handfull of Dutch, as you call it, the rest of the guest where people from England. This year, surpisely, it was the other way round, a handfull of English and a lot of Dutch, with smal children. But i think i have seen you, Kelly. I think you was there with your mother, sister and here boy friend. Was it you who sang so good by the karaoke? If yes, maybe you remember us. The first day (?) you where there, you had the sunbeds next to us. Maybe we see each ohter next year. We are planning to go again in 2005. | ||||||||||

| We were there 3rd September till the 17th (can't remember seeing you Debbie??). Really liked the Hotel, great location, good food. English are in the minority but everyone joins in together. Entertainment on nearly every night even if it's just Bingo! Beware of the Shots.... EVIL!!! Thanks to Shaggy, Florin, Flori, Voula and Nic for working so hard!!! And thanks to the man on reception who managed to find my sisters b'friend asleep on a sunbed after too many shots!! Would definately go back! | ||||||||||

| Great location right on the beach Going again next week (10/09/04) for 2 weeks for the 5th time Went June last year - very very hot No need to fight for the sunbeds, plenty to go round and down on the beach as well Nice clean pool - never crowded Food good - lots of choice never the same thing twice over a week period. Always something available - no need to go hungry Entertainment only some nights which is ok - not too much in your face all the time so relaxing evenings if you want or go down town for a wild one if you feel up to it Hi to Florin & all the staff see you soon again | ||||||||||

| hey,had a wicked time at the Galaxy hotel this year,right on the beach and no need to get up early for a sunbed-plenty.staff are very friendly.a big hello to Andy the main man,any one say hello to him for me.nice quality hotel.someone please say a big hello to all the staff,especially andy maria and florin,we luv u all!cheers me dears.xxxhave a wicked time for sure.luv nicki | ||||||||||

| hotel pool right on the beach plenty of sunbeds and brollies no need to get up at 6am to claim one. food excellent plenty of choice, the bar staff were great they worked so hard never had to wait long for a drink even though we were AI 5min stroll to the main street for the bars and clubs if that is what u wanted no noise could be heared at the hotel | ||||||||||

| Went for honeymoon from 24/6/02 to 8/7/02. First week lots of older people, second week lots of couples and families. Pool nice and there is some entertainment. Food ok but no good for fussy eaters. Rooms cleaned daily and all air conditioned. Quite good overall but a bit too basic for the money it cost. Would go back to Laganas but self catering! | ||||||||||
