This will be our third visit and our third time staying in Denise beach apartments the first time we stayed was six years ago and we where so impressed by what the apartments ane where they are situated we decided as we could only get a week off work together last year we would return to Zante. I am so sorry we couldnt have gone for two weeks as we met up with some fab couples, Mark and Yvonne. H .Mo and Laura, and Delia and Hubby ( who gave me the best leaving present a girl could ask for) no not that A BOTTLE OF JACK DANIELS. We have now booked to go back for two weeks the end of June 07 where we have arranged to meet up with H, Mo and Laura. If you want a hol that is relaxing in the day and only a short walk away from the vibrant night life look no further than Denise Beach and Zante Julie and Derry xxxx
just got back from 2 weeks , first week was lovely a few places in laganas shut but that was ok
2nd week Hotal shutting down around us ..bar closed at 5pm every night till thursday then it was closed permanitly ( good job we was self catering as restarant closed aswell ) most of sunbeds put away
we was made to feel we wasnt welcome by staff as all they wanted to do was shut the place up
Heyy! Well me and my family have visited zante 3 years ago and we loved it thn! we stay in the same apartments (denise beach) and we really enjoyed it. the company we had there (other families) were awful one family threatened us so tht was a let down and yannis was a bit 'annoying' but other than tht it was brill! but it has become VERY commerciallized since the last time we went and i prefered zante 3 years ago! nevertheless it was a good holiday and i woudl recommend it to people but due to unforunate even we WONT be goin back AGAIN!!! haha!
the location was brilliant because we wernt too close to the main strip and we wernt too far it was just lovely! the beach was a bitt manky because cars use it as a road at night! the sea it beautiful tho!
Yannis - was a very friendly guy (sometimes he would get a bit irritataed with children)
Andreas - was a lovely guy also (no quarms with him)
Tassos - got on with his work efficiently and quietly (we never really got to talk to him tho !)
all in all it was a great holiday and its a great destination for the younger parties NOT the older generation!!!
just came back from the denise beach & the reason you don't here any comments about this place is because the people who book there want to go back themselves !!
when we were there, we talked to many of the guests & they were all repeat customers.
accommodation - very nice (although we were in the dungeons but after all it's only a bed you're lookin for !)
location - excellent, just far enough away from the strip but close by to other amenities
staff - yannis (he knows nothing !!) - flag on it's way...yamas bedi !
tassos - the quiet one but gets on with his job
andreas - just opening the beach bar when we left but hadn't put his music on ;-)

My boyfirend and I stayed at the denise beach apartments last September in the new building we had an apartment which was very spacious we were a bit worried as we had read reviews that the rooms were like cells! The room were cleaned EVERY day and fresh towels were left out if needed. The pool area was a bit of a dissapointment as most of the sunbeds were in shade by midday but the beach is very close so not too much of a problem.
The beach was nicer the further up you walked as the parts were cars could drive was awful I had a binwagon stop inches from my sunbed one day!
There are plenty of lovely places to eat and the greek food is absolutely gorgeous on the whole we enjoyed our holiday but once is enough in Zante and needless to say although we enjoyed the experience we wont be going back
We went to Denise Beach end of June 2005 the weather was brilliant, only had one cool day, but still warm enough to sit in swim wear! Apartments are basic,but very clean the staff are very friendly, especially Yanis and Andreas the bar tenders! It was a nice place to eat for simple meals such as breakfast or lunch, but the best eating places on a night were on the beach front, especially Blue Sea (locals eat there as well) wide menu choice, well presented and delicious. It is family run and they welcome you. Michaels about half way up 'the strip' is a great place for a full english at only 4.50 euros.
We have booked again for this July and are on count down, looking forward to staying in the duplex sea view (recommended by previous guests) the view from the balcony is breathtaking.
Enjoy your hols, noone staying at Denise Beach won't have great time, its fantastic!!

i love the hotel, its sooooo amazin i miss yannis (jonny) ldz e'z gr8. its onli like a10 min walk 2 th bars n clubs its fab. goin agen in july cnt wait 2 c all th staff agen, luv em all
superb,brill location, can have meals 24/7 steps about (10) from pool area to beach, very clean looks beautiful at night take a walk round to cameo to the right down the beach across a wooden bridge, small peble beach with bar and dj excellent to chill out in the day. once again anyone who goes should not be dissapointed..
this has got to be the best location in laganas right on the beach,everything on hand hotel very friendly and staff great , have been twice now and am going again next year, cannot fault a thing, oh and jonny makes a wicked cocktail.
Myself and my hubbie have just got back from the Denise Beach.19/09/05.
The location is really good and even though you do have to go across a beach everynight my shoes didn't suffer too much!
The room we had was very small and my hubbie who's 6 foot three didn't really fit in the bed that well(his feet were hanging out!!!) but it was cleaned every day and the staff were all very nice.
We won't being coming back though as Zante hasn't really got enough to explore and the nightlife although lively was very boring(they played the same songs every night!)
Brilliant stayed here three times now and have booked again in September and June next year, had a scream with Yanni (johnny) the barman in fact a crowd of us enjoyed it sooo much we decided all to book at the same time, if you aint happy with your apartment Johnny is the one to tell, we've never had any problems as we always book the Seaview duplex ones :)
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to you. It's about a 15 minute walk to the main strip and the only route in down the beach which can be a bit of a nightmare when it gets dark. The hotel and staff are great.
