zante 2010.. people complain that zante laganas is now an 18-30 invested island, well yes its an island for crazy young people that want to get steaming ever night...don't go if your old! me and 2 girlfriends headed to zante at the end of june for 2 weeks! we stayed in the canadian, but absolutely dreaded it before we got there because we had read such bad reviews! however, we were put in the brand new block of apartments that nobody had used, and it was luxurious! i even saw the oldish rooms and they weren't that different. the maids came in every day apart from one or two days because they had to clean for new arrivals! the barmen are the most friendly people you will meet in the hotel, they are so welcoming.. once you get to know them they let you know how much alcohol you really want! the security guard nearly kcked us out on our first night because we had people back to our room, and to be fair there was about ten of us all together making quite a bit of noise. he told us we had a warning and we only have one left. the next day i saw him and apologised, he never actually gave us our warning.. he just scared us! we made great friends with the secuirty guard zoubir and eventually he really didnt care who was in our room as long as he "didn't know" and couldn't hear us! the pool was great and there were normally sunbeds but we put our towels out the night before just incase the pool got busy. zante 2010 was the best two weeks of my life, without the barmen at canadian it would not have been as fun! make sure you try out the headf**kers at the bar! im definitely going back next year for a month.. maybe to work!! the strips an easy 10 min walk as soon as your drunk its fine! have fun! and thankyou to all the staff at canadian.. bristol girls xxxxxxxxx
Had a wicked time in zante weather was excellent! 48 at one point!!!
Its not the best hotel ive stayed in but its ok, we were on the quieter side by the fountain the rooms by there to be fair are big, bigger than the ones that have been refurbed!!, our original room our fridge leaked & there was water all over the floor, we reported this hoping they would change the fridge, NO! we had to move rooms 3 days later, ok it was only to the next room but eh a lot of hassle! but when we moved rooms they came to count every item in the room including knives forks etc etc!! so make sure you dont break anything!! overall we had an excellent time!
Hey there 3 bolton gals just got back from the canadian bout a week ago...it was awesome, top hotel and the staff rock..spesh the bar staff :) they wil make your holiday!! Neway hope you al enjoy ur holiday here cause we did alrite hehe goin back in a month but stayin at the posiedon wont match the canadian thou haha cyaaaaa xx
PS I forgot to say, the pool is small / busy but you can go round to so many other pools for free... The Ikaros pool is big, has loads of beds and nowhere near as busy.

Apparantly there are two classes of rooms here - we had the better type (in the block by the pool). Newly refurbished with a shower cubicle with curved glass front. Room was cleaned most days although towels only replaced a couple of times. Apparantly the block next to the hotel gives more typically greek rooms.
Warning - we were originally in room 215 above the bar and that was really noisy. We got moved after a few days to 121 which was much better.
Walking distance to the busy lights of Laganas but far away enough to be able to escape it if you wanted to.

Hey had a fab time at the candian stayed 11/8-18/8. zante was wicked and met some wicked people as well here! hey to all the bar men especially billy and chris, hope you haven't forgotten THOSE nights!! can't wait to come back next year and have even more fun with even more of us! hey to everyone we met there at the canadian and hope you're all ok! hope to see you again soon!

we was there from the 3rd of august 2006 to the 18th of august it was amasin there were 7 of us 6 lads an 1 gal!!! brave! i was in room 215! tho hotels gd shame about eric who works in the pool bar!!! what a t**t hes the 1 that wears a pink f**k babie top.had a great time tho cool lights in the rooms!!!!!!
Spot on, hotel was clean! Only thing is the pool was a bit small, but we went up the road to another hotel, if u use the bar they dont mind u using the pool! We broke 2 glasses and got charged 10 euros though so dont break ne thing!! The neighbours were quality aswell 3 scottish lasses, to the left and 3 scousers to give banter to infront! definately would go to these apartments again!
Just got back 2day, two weeks went far too fast! I cant complain about reception or bar staff they were amazing! Good laught at night time definantly a place for groups though i went with my girlfriend and although we llived it we decided to go to the pool up the road by day the Karras due to how busy and loud it gets, more like an 18-30 place really i reckon.
Only other grumble is the prices, 50 euros for saftey deposit box, 60 euros for air con, 40 for late check out and if you break anything you better have your credit card........
Yeah also kitchen in cupboard wot's that about. Would go back to laganas like but maybe not this hotel!
Was ttly fab! we stayed in room 203 (3 girls) n cudnt believe how lovely it was! were well impressed wit the diff lighting affects aswel haha. Reeco who works on the pool is ded funny aswel lol. say hiya 2 him from vicky gemma n lucy! u can pay for the air con n there is a fridge and a freezer. just 2 warn u tho, we had 2 pairs of earrings and a neclace went missin out of our rooms, is probs worth getting a safe as cleaners are in and out every day. enjoyyyy n ehres a pic of our bathroom! lol. hope it works x
