Stayed here from the 14th to 21st May 2010 and had a great time. The actual apartment is pretty basic but was better than we expected as we hadn't paid too much for it. It was pretty clean and everything was in working order. The pool area was lovely with a nice sized clean pool and a reasonably priced snack and drinks bar. Two faults would be that there was not much activities to do other than a pool table and also it would not recommend it for families as it was quite noisy at night time. Other than that the location was excellent(only 5 mins walk both to the strip and beach) and a good starting point for your holiday.
OMG, what a brilliant holiday! there were six of us & we stayed for 2 weeks from 21 aug - 5 sept '07, room 17 & 18. Petros, the day barman made me laugh a few times and Yianni made the best cocktails in the whole of Greece I reckon! thanks for the free shots too :-) hes so kind! met loads of fab people out there, everyone got on so well, just didnt want to leave! it is the best location for a hotel; 2 mins walk to the beach & same to the main strip. so not too close but not too far! we are glad we chose to go there! loads of good times and great memories! definately a holiday to remember x
we stayes at cactus from 31st july to 8th august 07...best holiday ever!! the apartments are all that you need, the pool has a great atmosphere and the people are jokes. Yiannis behind the bar at night is a legend...so many free cocktails!!! watch out 4 the crazy pool guy at night...he's got a wooden bat! but that just added to the fun. We would defintitely go back, i wish i dint have 2 leave! x
loren, we will see you out there, yeah kate has listed the best bars, rescues was where we normally ended up, you going for a week or 2. also kate you gonna be at the cactus pool again this year, was such a laugh last year, gutted work commitments means i cant go working out there lol xxx
hey, i worked in zante last year and lived in the workers appartments opposite cactus. i had a brilliant time and we alwasy used 2 use the catus pool. best places r rescue n zeros i rekon n g-spot n chevys r gr8 lil bars. i'm goin back 2 work again on the 14th June n can't w8

BEST. HOLIDAY. EVER. we went from the 4th-11th of august and had the time of our lives!14 of us stayed in cactus and enjoyed every minute of it!!the pool, the people, the apartments everything!!the apartments are great for a party holiday, there basic but watch out for the air conditioning, we left it on every night and had chest infections for about a month after!!the pool was fantastic and there was always beds free!!made a few good friends and had some really good times!!JIANNIS!!!!i love you!!the barman at night, everyone sings his praises!!he's brilliant free jiannis specials and shots at half 7 and he always played our CD's!!petros was cool too, quiet but cool, does anyone else remember his little fluffy puppy?!?!SO cute!!favourite places, hmm so many to choose from, my favourite resturaunt was on the beach dunno the name unfortunately!its a real greek taverna with one guy in traditional greek dress who carries a parrot!!they smash plates and start fires!!and the waiters are HOT!as for night clubs SABOTAGE(!), it was always empty early but fills up!!zero's for the superhot barmen who are so much fun!their backstreet boys routine on the bar made our holiday, and COCKTAILS AND DREAMS for the best best BEST music and the ultimate cocktail....the chocolate orgasm!!i LOVED it!!wanna go back sooooo much!!

We just got back and i wish we were still there! It really was the best holiday ever. Yannis, Petros and rep Lee were fantastic and the food and music by the pool was great too. The cleaners did a great job we would deffinatly go again next year. Fantastic location near everything but just far enough away to get some peace. Met some good friends we will keep in touch with. Great atmosphere
Eat: Sirocco was fantastic staff so friendly definatly best breakfast in Zante
Play: Do your own trips hire boats, car ect better value. The olympia trip was well worth it though. Zante Horse trecking centre and horse riding in Tsilivi fantastic too. Rescue, Coctails and dreams and pool bar were the best. Go carting was good too.
Would deffinatly reccomend Cactus if your looking for a fun relaxing holiday, also could be a mad party holiday too. Fantastic
Awwww we just got back home yesterday and i'm missin it already. We didn't stay at cactus as there was no room, but we practically spent all our time their.

Cactus is the place to go if your going to Zante for a holiday. Close to beach and bars, good pool, what more do you need!! We went in June, we've already booked for next year!!
WOW!!! what a brill holiday!! the cactus was perfect about 4 min walk to the srip and the main clubs. The food and cocktails are great at the bar and the rooms are lovley and clean. Lee the rep was the best. You gotta go on hes bar crawl, fantastic!!! were going back out in sept but staying at the blue bell coz the cactus was full .
If your staying at the cactus you got nothing to worry about!!!!
