| Aleka apartments are complete s**te, 13 of just got back yesterday and i cant say im not glad to get away from that hotel and the nutter of an owner. If you go here and are in room 2 (my room) then heres a few things that are wrong, No cold water in the sink (both hot and cold tap give out hot), If you shut the bathroom door then you cant open it from the inside and someone has to come and let you out.
Some of the other rooms are in bad condition too, one of my friends keys snapped in the door and he was almost charged 80euros for a new key before we refused to pay it and the rep had to step in. The owner is also a cpmplete headcase, on the second last day he assaulted two of us, one got a slap in the face and the other one got hit in the chest with a metal bar, just before he chased another friend of mine up the stairs and into his room. Us, and another one of the guests who witnessed this made formal complaints to Kosmar about this and hopefully they will take it further themselves.

| we thought these apartments were really good. we had a really nice balconie(or however you spell it!) which the two bedrooms opened out on to. the place seemed very safe with good locks on the shutters and the glass doors, and also a safety deposit box which was pretty cheap to hire. the only down point i would say was that there is no air conditioning so we had to hire a fan which was hard to share between the two bedrooms! also on the roof below us there was a really manky glass, which had obviously been there for a while, was not so nice to look at! the apartment had what you basically needed( pots pans etc), the bathroom was ok, however the shower sprayed everywhere but on you and the drain in the middle of the floor tended to overflow after two people had taken a shower, so there was a little bit of flooding, but other than that it was pretty standard stuff. we only had one other apartment on our floor, and the people living there where a group of guys our age who where very nice so we felt pretty safe leaving the door open while we were in the apartment. the pool across the way was the best (with the big blue slide) and all the people around seemed really friendly and layed back. i had a great first holiday away without parents with my two friends from school and we are planning on going back next summer because we had such a good time, were gunna try and stay in the same apartments aswell! | ||||||||||

You sound like a bit of a services man, have you ever been in the SAS or the brownies? i hope the food is ok out here because you never seem to get enough gravy on your chips in greece or the metro centre. i weigh 25 clem which is more cushion for the pushn and im sure il fit the bill.

| We just returned yesterday from our stay at the Aleka Apts. The bedrooms were big and attractive with wooden panelling on the ceiling, nice lights and curtains. It all looked fresh in the bedroom. However, as someone else commented there wasn't a "comfy area" there was instead a table and couple of chairs in the so called kitchen which was quite small and consisted of fridge, 2 little heating rings and a sink. The bathroom was roomy but the floor get absolutely soaking wet and there was never any hot water!! We also had a mouse....but I have been on many a "budget/reasonable" holiday and these apartments are no worse than the usual basic accomadation. The gardens are lovely, very pretty and although these apartments have no pool as others have said there are 3 pools basically on your doorstep. We preferred the one on the right which was quiet and the food and drinks soooo reasonable (and the glasses which were kept in the freezer was a great idea!!). We much preferred this pool than the Marinos Pool where the food is more expensive, the pool smaller and you have a learing (although smiley) husband and his "friendly" (ha ha) wife. Great location these apartments are in, just off the main road where there are soooo many great restaurants and you must go to the Rescue Me bar - the barstaff are very funny. Would def go back to Laganas! although the airport aaaahhhhhhhh!!!! | ||||||||||

| stayed there last week in may, found these apartments to be quite small and really couldnt disguise the damp smell everytime u walked in.The lack of pool didnt cause the problems i thought it would due to the fantastic pool and bar 20 yards away called marinos.Maid only appeared once in the week and beware of the paper thin walls as every word and any other sound can be heard as clear as a bell in the next room !! ] | ||||||||||

| The apartments were basic but clean and spacious. We were in the two bedroomed, one which was ideal for two teenage boys and the other double for us. Only gripes were small towels only provided and no separate inside comfy area. Two balconies though.Only a two ring hob, no grill or oven. However across the very quiet road were the Marinos Studios and Acapulco Bar which serve good food (snacks and breakfasts) and serve every type of drink you could imagine, with regular freebies. Good pool also and no fighting for the free sunbeds. | ||||||||||

| just stayed at these appartments and by greek standards they are excellent but please take you're own toilet paper and bath towel as these are not provided. you have the use of 3 pools and bars all within 3 minutes walk but the best one is to the right as you walk out if you like the local beer then it will cost you about £1.50 in a frosted glass and the food here is cheep aswell. nearest supermarket is 3 mins walk / the main centre is 10 min walk / but the beech is a good 20 mins away. | ||||||||||
