Green Frog

We had some great nights at the green frog,especially when they were showing big brother.The food was great everytime we went, only complaint there was too much of it, which as i know from running a pub in England is not a complaint.I would like to add to all those who moaned about the service, how happy r u at work especially if it's as hot as it is in Zante!!!!!!!!

just back (31.8.01) food good, steaks excellent, chicken wraps excellent. this place gets busy and so you wait, on our second visit we waited an hour to get food after ordering. this is not a cheap place. Staff ok but very busy so its not tremendously friendly, if you are going to eat here go late after 1015pm or early before 8.00pm

We only ate breakfast here but found it to be very good. The scrambled eggs were lovely! Also had a drink later in the evening and enjoyed the entertainment.

Food was OK here but for me it was summed up by a waiter of another restaurant who said 'it is good if you like English food'

Very good choice of food. We had Chicken and beef faittas...lovely. Very friendly. Go there with the family, as there is great choice. However, your on holiday, so experince the greek cultural food first, b4 resorting to other food.

Would help if I added a comment:-)) We've been coming here for years and looking forward to eating there again when we go on 23rd August. Does anyone know if they still do the Jamaican Jerk Chicken?? All the other meals were wonderful but that was one of our faves!!!! Tim, Toya & Dale

The place is wonderful, we have been coming here for as long as i can remember, year after year, the food is lovely the people are very friendly, what can i say we love it..... Thankyou George & Eileen

ARRIVED HOME 2/8/O1 MISSING GREEN FROG

The best place to eat on the island. You cannot ask for better food, better service and bigger portions - they are enough. This is the fourth time we have been to Argassi and would recommend the Green Frog to everyone. Nikos and Mandy are excellent hosts, Lisa it the best waitress and Richard cooks pretty good. Make sure you eat here as often as possible. Sunday Roast is a must - the sizzling chicken, bacon, mushrooms and garlic is a must too. Don't miss it. Vicki & Kev Bournemouth

we visited this Resteraunt twice and the second time we were indoors and it took an hour to be served out meal. The food once delivered was of a very high quality.

The steaks here are the best you will ever taste in another country and they will give you what you ask for!!

well the supposed english food was terrible and it has nothing else going for it, the couldnt even get the chips to taste right

Wide range and good size portions

The food was okay, however it was a nice place to drink at night and the owners were very hospitable providing entertainment for all. This is a great place to go if you want to meet people, everyone was extremely friendly. I felt that the food let this lively restaurant/bar down.

The food was excellent and the Friday night kareoke was good. The guy with long hair was great fun.

Staff could have smiled a bit more.Food average OK for lunchtime snacks but no 'restaurant'atmosphere at night. Free papers avaliable also sunday lunch.Karaoke nights popular.

Very English and you can tell as it is allways full on a night time The menu is very varied and includes a lunch time snack menu the burgers are home made big chuncky mincemeat It has nightly entertainment either kareoke or greek dancing Go for a full english breakfast for 1500drs at about 11.30 and you can read the English papers free of charge.

i have just got back the people that we met did not eat here after there first time, i had ordered carbarnara and ended up have a bowl of what looked like milk, i am sorry but this place was from from the best in the resort.

We ended up eating here most nights as the food was such excellent value for money. The service was good as well. Definitely recommend it.

Worth a visit, quite a varied menu.

Big portions, good service. I had nacho's followed by veggie enchilladas - then only fault was that they were both smothered in processed orange gooey cheese stuff.

The food that we ordered was ok,but the friends that we were with it was not that good we had to send her burger back twice has it had a feather in it each time it came the waitress was not very helpful they offered to make her another dish but the dish she ordered was of the menu she ended up having to go to the chinese next door and eating by herselfe

I have to say every thing is excellent about this restaurant as I am the owner!!! breakfast was great here, but mainly does english food no change from home. you have to make sure someone sees you come in or you could be waiting a while even when its quiet! most staff work very hard and the food is good - Sunday Roast very good

We stayed in Argassi and we ate regularly at the Green Frog the food was excellent as were the staff. We are going again this year and the Green Frog is at the top of our list for places to eat at.

my wife and I stayed at the katerina hotel (self catering)in september 2000 and it was superb, although we ate out at some restaurants which were quite good we tended to eat at the green frog,which we found superb on all counts,mandy and nikos ( the owners )and the young staff were very pleasant considering how hard they worked and the food and the prices were the best we found in argassi,and if you like kareoke then the green frog is the best

Yeah!! Go Mandy, Nikos, Alex & Nicoletta!! (the owners..) YOU ROCK!!! Keep ruling the roost on English food in Zante!!!!

This has got to be the best english restaurant in Argassi. Prices are very reasonable people are very friendly and the food is great. Hard to beat this restaurant.
