One of our favorites and still open in 2009. A short walk up a steep hill, the views across to town are great at night. Food is simple but well prepared and very good value. Nice relaxed vibe.

Malcolm G          8/10

Had a great meal here, well worth the walk up the hill.  I recommend the Village Chicken.  The service was, let's say a little less than enthusiastic, by just spend the time admiring the fantastic view.

Rachel H

A very disappointing meal here as we went to the same place last year and had a lovely meal.

The Pork Souvlaki was very dry and tough, the village chicken was in a very bland watery sauce, the garlic mushrooms in white wine was very vinegar like.

So so sad  as the sunset up there is a beautiful sight to see and well worth the walk up the hill past the Commodore, as for the meal we wont be going again.

Old M

Nice views, but you are paying for the view as the food is more expensive than elsewhere in Argassi, and it's not the best food you will find on the island.

Catherine A

It was the second time in Argassi for us and both last time (2yrs ago) and this holiday we ate at Blue Blue.

The food was delicious the scampi is to die for none of the mixed fish in it at all, the spag bol was nice as was the chicken nuggets that my son had.

Would go back again if we went back to Argassi.

this is the view from Blue Blue

Richard S

the view was very nice we went here twice but on the second occasion the chicken which my son had wasnt cooked properley which spoiled the overall oppinion of the place.

Sharon, D

it was a good walk up the hill but well worth it the few was lovely food great as well lovely atmosphere

Hayley P

Well this was a bit of a trek up a hill but it was well worth it for the veiws you could see over the whole of argassi and in to the harbour of zante town , it is a very calming atmosphere up there with music played in the background the food was loely too.

Old M

Made the trek up the hill twice, once for an ice cream (heavenly!) and once for breakfast. Views were better than the breakfast, it must be said, but the overall impression of the place was definitely favourable.

Rachel H

Had a couple of meals here, the village chicken was very good also the breakfasts.

would recommend going up on an evening to see the sunset over zante town, it was awesome and very spectacular.  a little bit of climb to get there, but very worth while.

Lynn M

Edi Emma - there are 2 ways to get to Blue 'n' Blue - from the crossroads at the main road if you head up the hill past the Palmyra Hotel  and the Snack Academy you come to a fork in the road. The road going on up to the left leads to Captains - when you get to Captains there is a small lane with a sign to blue 'n' blue it's on the left near the reception area - this lane takes 2 mins to the restaurant and actually goes round behind captains. The second way to get there is to take the right hand fork in the road and this road leads round and uphill until it finally reaches blue 'n' blue - this one is a bit more remote and not so nice - I would recommend going via captains. Hope this helps. Have a lovely holiday.

i have heard many good comments about this restaurant in argassi, i have been to argassi for 2 weeks last season and thought it was an amazing place. i would really want to go to this taverna when i come this season but not sure where it is? do you have to keep walking past the captains? can any one help, thanks xx

Lynn M

Blue 'n' blue was fantastic, a real greek taverna in a beautiful peaceful setting with authentic food. We ate here several times as the atmosphere was exactly what we wanted. The view over the bay is breathtaking, I couldn't fault it on anything. BTW - if anyone has read Maeve Binchy's latest novel "Night of rain & Stars" which is set in a greek hillside taverna - it could easily have been written about Blue 'n' Blue.  Make it a must on your places to visit list - you wont regret it.

Sally C

Went 3 times in our week - lovely peaceful setting, amazing view. Recommend the moussaka, village chicken and Italian pasta dishes and the Amaretto icecream. Attentive service, reasonably priced quality food.

Chris B

Wasn't very impressed with the Mousaka that I had quite dry and bland, the service could have been better but it did have a fantastic view.

Ali K

View was amazing, make the effort and wander up the hill. Food was nothing to write home about though.

James M

Beautiful location and view, shame the food doesn't quite match it. As someone who doesn't eat red meat I found the menu limited, also little effort was made in the presentation of the food.

Sue P

EXECELLENT FOOD, WE FOUND THIS BAR ON OUR LAST DAY WISH WE HAD FOUND IT EARLY, EXCELLCENT VIEW.

Anne K

Can't understand why has only got 6 out of 10. We went to Blue Blue several times during our 2 week stay, the food was excellent, the owners are friendly and welcoming, and the view of Zante is out of this world. We sat and ate our meal and watched the sunset, the house white wine is the best in Argassi and really cheap.

Janet J

We ate here 3 times (we had to restrain ourselves otherwise we wouldn't have gone anywhere else). Food was excellent & really well presented. The service was great & they didn't try to rush you so they could get more people in (unlike the main Argassi strip). Excellent value & what can I say about "that view".

Nick Y

We ate here twice, both times had the seafood meze which was delicious. Fantastic view, good service and reasonably priced.

Sarah T

This was recommended to us and we loved it! A really relaxed
environment - it felt a bit more upmarket than some of the
tavernas on the main street! However the food was much
cheaper and better! It is a family run restaurant too. The view
across Argassi is beautiful, perfect for a romantic meal, or to
chill out with friends! I would recommend Zakynthian Chicken, or
Chicken Souvlaki. I'm surprised this only got 4/10, I would have
to give it 10/10 for food, service and beautiful location!

Joanne H

We went to Blue Blue twice during the second week of our holiday and are only sorry that we did not discover it sooner. The food was lovely, very chilled out place with amazing views over Argassi and Zante Town. Very cheap. If you want to have an nice greek meal we would highly recomend it - if you want burger and chips stick to the main strip in Argassi.

Magenta D
