Sweet Revenge

Hi Danny , Maggie and Sophia, hope you are all well and having a good season. We will be out in 4 weeks Sun 20th sept so have those yorkshires and roast potatoes ready for the two Steve's. Had a lovely meal here were made to feel very wellcome by Margaret and Danny, the devils sauce is divine!! i had it with the chicken wow!   very extensive menu great variety of dishes and reasonable also. Will be visiting again....

We have been to Tsilivi twice now (June 2008 and 2009) and Sweet Revenge is by far the best restaurant we ate in.  We went there this time on our first and last nights and, once again, were not disappointed!! 

The Devil's Sauce is to die for (but, unfortunately, the recipe is a closely guarded secret and we were unable to prise it out of Margaret..!) 

Oh well, we'll just have to go back again next year to satisfy our cravings!

We visited Tsivili in June 2009 and we were recommended to eat at Sweet Revenge by the girl in the Supermarket....We weren't disappointed.

The food was great, the wine great, and the service even better....a must visit.

Have been going to Sweet Revenge since we started coming to Tslivi five yers ago. We have always found Margaret, Danny, Juliano and Sophia very honest, reliable, happy hosts, always willing to help. The food is fantastic, I want to take thier chef home with me.

This was certainly the best restaurante me and my boyfriend Jack ate at on our first holiday together 2 years ago. We were recomended it by someone in our hotel (Pheonix Hotel) and ended up eating there every remaining night of our holiday. The staff were so lovley and the food was amazing.

our second visit to Tsilivi. As a family this was the best restaurant with the nicest people and the greatest food. Our kid's, ages 14 and 17, loved it too. We ate there 4 nights because it was the nicest food. My hubby votes for the best mixed grill in the resort. The meat was all cooked to perfection. Myself and the boy's vote for the Sweet Crepes with extra choc. Ahhh beautiful. An absolute must-visit place.

well what can I say we have had the most brilliant food ever from Sweet Revenge, we did try other restaurants but we kept going back, hospitality and food were both  first class.  You must try their breakfast it was fantastic and set us up for the day, the evening meals with a very good choice were superb, we tried many of the local dishes and we were not dissapointed as for ratings we would give this a superb 12/10   

first time to greece found sweet revenge by accident.as the season was winding down it was always busy [a very good sign].ate there 4 times. the last time they read my mind[greek salad and mousakka]to die for. thanks guys    martin and chris

Great food. Lovely people just what you want for a long leisurely meal. Well worth a visit. We had fresh bream and snapper. Worth the extra.

Hi Danny,Maggie and Sophia, hope you are all well. Bit late writing this since we were there in June. Yet again you made us really welcome and kept us so well fed. Your food is terrific and we have tried the recipes you gave us, not as good as yours of course. Steve(big) and I are coming back in October and  I think we are all coming out September next year. Steve (little)Jan send their best and steve says stock up on the roast potatoes for next year just in case! Otherwise he will be on for the pizza challenge!

All the resteraunts in Tsilivi are good , but Sweet Revenge tops the lot . Lamb and beef cooked in the pot are to die for and the souvlaki is superb. The staff are great and really cheery.

hi danny & margaret, you probably will not remember us. we stayed at plaza pallas 2005. had agreat time loved your breakfasts and meals put on about a stone each. we got married at vanato town hall you both did a fabulous wedding meal for us and our family. just writing to say we have not forgotten you and we will be comming back for a holiday. my son  chris called to see you earlier this year, he said you remembered him

Hi Maggie and Danny. Sorry for the delay in sending this but the last 7 weeks have been a muddle of nappy changes, sleepless nights and the likes! Caz gave birth to our beautiful baby daughter Hannah Lily on 28th October and she weighed 6 pounds 12. Both are doing really well and we hope to come over to Tsilivi in late September or early October 2009 where we will proudly show her off!!!! the best reasturant on the whole island of zante. their peppered chicken is the best and the atmosphere is amazing!!! thanks all at the sweet revenge reasturant for great grub.

What a nice place! Danny and Margaret are just so friendly and will do whatever they can to help you. So much to choose from and we did not have a bad meal at all. They even do a superb Sunday roast which my husband (typical Englishman on hol) said was excellent. My friend Jan and I had the prawn saganaki one night, it was to die for ,I'm sure the prawns had been on steroids they were enormous and the sauce was superb. Don't wear white if you have this though, I was covered in napkins but still managed to drip but wow it was worth it. Proper English breakfast (husband again) so big I always had the kiddie breakfast. Look forward to seeing you both again maybe later this year if not def next year!

Great restaurant! Food Superb, well worth a visit!

Just back from 2 weeks in Tsilivi. We ate at Sweet Revenge about six times it was so good. My much better half tried the Rabbit Stifado and I had the Souzoukakia which was superb. One night there were seven of us, including a friend who lives in Akrotiri, and we could not have been made to feel more welcome.

We ate at the Sweet Revenge restaurant a couple of times on our recent holiday to Zante and we could not fault it.The food was lovely and the staff so friendly it was a pleasure to eat there.

This place is brilliant, the spaghetti carbonara is to die for , follow it with the tiramisu and you're in heaven.The pizzas here are 1st class too and all served by the friendliest staff.

This is a great restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and excellent customer service we all enjoyed our meals even though some of us couldn't finish it all (big portions).

amazing!  me and my boyfriend have just returned from tsilivi, this was definately our favourite place to eat, the staff are very friendly,the service is great and the homemade food is gorgeous!  I cannot praise this restaurant anymore, it is a must to visit.  I had the mousaka on many occassions and it was delicious! my boyfriend had a mixed grill and the portion was plenty, he was pleasantly shocked when the plate came out.

we ate here on our first night and i've got to say, it was great! the food was freshly prepared, the service is great. must be warned that the portions are massive and sweet revenge is very dangerous for those worried about their waistline!! should defo try this place!

 We really can't recommend the Sweet Revenge enough, everything was EXCELLENT ! The food is amazing, everything is fresh but you never have to wait too long and the portions are HUGE but the prices aren't! We tried as much as we could during our holiday and it was all fantastic, we couldn't manage starter, main course & dessert though - I don't imagine many people could! The service is also second to none- Taz & Maggie are two lovely ladies who always have time to chat and nothing is ever too much trouble - if you want anything, just ask. For DAZ COLTON. Sweet Revenge is at the other end of the resort from the Contessina Hotel. On the corner of the street that the Contessina is on there is a restaurant called Maina. This is a great place to eat too - family run, quality food and a great atmosphere. I would recommend you walk the ten or fifteen minutes to Sweet Revenge too, though. Your rep should be able to direct you. Alternatively, walk up past Maina, turn left, and continue down the strip for 5 minutes, stopping at Utopia Bar. Yannis will happily direct you to Sweet Revenge. Across from Utopia is the Manos Grill, another great place to eat, but a little more expensive than those mentioned before. The Contessina is a great hotel and I'm sure you will have a great time. Always take insect repellent.

Could anyone tell me is this restaurant anywhere near the Contessina hotel.

WE ate here on our second to last night and wish we had found it sooner.

Just returned after 2 weeks in Tsilivi on Friday .  We ate at several restaurants but kept returning to Sweet Revenge which was by far the best in the resort.  The food was fantastic and on our last night, I have to admit the main course, (chosen for me by Maggie 'cos I couldn't make my mind up) beat me, which is unsual!! Great food, great service and truely great people.  Hope to pop over from Kefalonia next year to see you.

Much like my waistline on my last visit, Sweet Revenge has expanded !  Margaret and Danny have the largest menu and the largest portions we have seen anywhere in the village, or on the island.  The food is still of excellent quality and they are packed almost every night. "Margaret's side" of the Restaurant is a little cooler than Danny's, and Danny has made a great job of the decor.

My advice would be to EAT EARLY. This will guarantee a table, prompt service, and enough time before bed (or bar) to digest the enormous meal you will undoubtedly consume.  We always have a good laugh during the day when a Sweet Revenge virgin orders the Full Breakfast, then feels compelled to photograph the plate, never having seen a more full breakfast.

I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. The quality of food is second to none and the portions are... challenging.

We only ate here once towards the end of our holiday and should have found it earlier. The food was really good, the service was as good as anywhere in Tsilivi and the prices were brill. I just wish my appetite had been better as it was a crime to leave as much as I did,

Our first meal in Tsilivi very late on our first night was fabulous .  The proprietors were very welcoming and the atmosphere full of fun and joviality.  Pasta was our choice, and this couldn't have been better, freshly prepared and tasted so good we couldn't wait to eat here again.  Would recommend this to all who pass by.

Sweet Revenge could now take the top spot as the best restuarant in Tsilivi. More and more greeks are choosing to eat there now as Margaret and Danny expand their repertoire.  The Zaknithian Rabbit is absolutely delicious, the pasta dishes are so tasty and so BIG and if you want the 'full English', nobody makes it fuller.

We love you loads Mags, and give our best to Danny and Sofia.

We had quite a few breakfasts here as they were DELICIOUS! Also the full English was large with two sausage, two bacon, two eggs, two toast, beans, mushrooms and tomatoes! Also try their freshly squeezed orange juice - very nice.  The staff were very friendly and this place has a lovely location off the main road.  All in all very pleasant and delicious food! Highly recommended!

FOOD CONSISTANTLY FRESH AND WELL COOKED, FRIENDLY SERVICE WITH A PLEASANT ATMOSPHERE.

The sweet and sour chicken and pasta alfourno were excellent.  The pasta does come in HUGE portions, so make sure you are extremely hungry before ordering it!  I sat eating mine for half an hour and there seemed to be still as much in the dish when I had finished as when I had started!

 Hi there to you all at SWEET REVENGE, you are the best.  Had a wonderfull holiday in Tsilivi and your restaurant was the best in town. Loved your pasta dishes, and you were the only ones that I failed to finish my meal at due to the HUGE HUGE portions!!!!!  Will be back in October and will be at your place for every meal, we loved it that much.  Have a great summer till we get back and see you all in October.  Love you all

Margaret and Danny are the best hosts you could ask for.  The food is second to none and even gives Manos a run for his money.  The variety is great and it really pays to use fresh ingredients in wholesome, homemade food. I am one fat b@**@*d and it's all thanks to Mags. Too many crepes and the rabbit is to die for. We met up with a couple of our Zakinthian friends (Yanni and George of Utopia fame) who both had the rabbit and loved it. I recommend Sweet Revenge to anyone. The variety of food is spectacular and the atmosphere is great.
A big 'Yassou' to little Sofia (who is getting taller by the month!) and best wishes to all 3 generations we have had the pleasure of meeting.  'It's a bloody long way', but we will see you in September.

 the sweet revenge diner was absolutely outstanding, danny and margaret are the nicest people you could wish to come across and with excellent food and company to match we visited there 4 times in a week what more can i say, definately a must visit.

Margaret and Danny certainly know how to put on a good spread ! Great food in large portions and excellent company made for some of our best meals during our stay. Another plus is that being situated off the main road you get to eat without the noise and pollution of passing traffic.

We had a number of great evenings here. Their pasta and Greek dishes are amazing and at a good price. They welcomed our 10 month old girl in with open arms and could not have been more helpful. Well worth a visit or 2 or 3...!!!

Tried several restaurants,then came across Sweet Revenge, and ate there for the rest of our holiday. The food was excellent especially the Chicken Fillet special and the Lamb Kleftiko.Service was great, and Margaret, Danny and the staff were wonderful. We came away feeling we had made some lasting friends. Will definatly be back next year. TAURUS RULES OK.

This place does the best home made pizzas!! and the caeser salad was excellent too, it is really cheap here and you get a lot of food too!! the staff are really friendly and nice! this is just a long from the beach so is good at lunchtimes

good food at reasonable prices but watch out my mate had just finished her meal before she could put her cutlrey down her plate was taken ,it's nice for staff to be efficient but this was to quick ,it wasn't too busy but it seemed as they wanted rid of us.
