Marie Mare Hotel

Hi, we have stayed at these apartments a few times, and found them great, Unfortunately not been to Zante for a couple of years now, and are thinking of going again this year, but I understand that First Choice no longer have holidays to these apartments.Can anyone tell me which travel company now book into these apartments.Thanks 

stayed here in august 2008 had a fab time with my family. weather was lovely. near to busy pubs, clubs and restaurants but quiet enough to get sleep if you want. would definately go again if there wasnt so many places in the world i want to visit. ate breakfast and dinner at green frog very nice people. spent appx 100 euros a day for a family of 4, but you can buy stuff from supermarket. i didnt want to cook at all!!!!!!!!!!! 

down side, again i would say the lack of air conditioning , but we got used to the heat eventually and had lots of water and a spray can of water on hand. my daughter could  not sleep on the top bunk so we put her matteress on the floor each nite. then back in the morning to give us some room. also dont book a flight if you can help it, that leaves after 12.pm you will be homeless from 12 midday until your rep collects you,  in our case it was 3am!!!!. yes i did ask for a room but none were available as everyone wants to stay at marie mare!!!! cause its so nice. apart from that you will have a great holiday here .

We have just returned from the Maria Mare apartments and they were fantastic! Tranquil surroundings in the day, which suited us, a great bistro across the road, The Green Frog, and a short walk to beach bars too.  To us...Heaven!

stayed here 10/08/2008 to 24/08/2008 what a fantastic hotel right on the sea front . supermarket directlly opposite the apartments ,5 mins from argassi ,excellent apartments would definately visit again.

 Have just arrived home from week staying @ Maria Mare apartments. I would recommend them to everyone who likes to be near the nightlife but far enough away to get a good nights sleep. The views are fantastic, the rooms clean and spacious and the pool area is superb with wonderful sea views. The owners were very welcoming and helpful and our rooms were kept very clean by the lovely lady's who came every day. The Green Frog accross the road serves nice food and is great for picking up basic essentials in the adjoining supermarket. Molly Malones just down the road is a great place to have a nightcap as they serve great cocktails. Hope your holidays here were as much fun as ours. 

Very nice and quiet apartments in the quieter end of Argassi. Nice clean apartments look out on to the pool and the sea which is so clear you can paddle way out. No entertainment on site but we liked that as we could relax but just a short walk down to the nightlife and restuarants. Just opposite the great Green Frog for all your food, supplies, internet and meals, they also do a Take Away service too. Also try Granada as they are to do with the Maria Mare. All in all we had a great time in the apartments although we spent most of our time in our Car!

We have just arrived back from our 7 night stay here and we had a great time. The apartments are really nice and in a lovely area over looking the clear sea and with a lovely pool area. They are directly opposite a shop/bar/restuarant which is great for all the basics. Just a short stroll down to the nightlife which is vast and varied but is just enough away to be quiet. Staff are really friendly and helpful and the pool gets cleaned everyday.

With regards to your question the magic mushroom and the factory are about a ten minute walk from the maria mare along the main road.Watch out for those drain holes though!!
Myself and my partner stayed there for two weeks in september and it was brilliant.

heya we r goin 2 argassi in 2 weeks and have been 2 a few different hotels and they were brill but never this 1. how far is it from the magic mucshroom and the factory and the night life? i heard that it is really good so that is all i need 2 know. if any1 can tell me it would b great

  Hello we have just spent two weeks at tha marie mare it was wonderful the pool is so clean and there were ample sunloungers and parasols all clean and tidy too the location is excellant right on the beach it was about 10yards from the pool to the sea and the sea is so clear I recommend a see-through lilo to just float on and watch the little fish swimming around fantastic!

We have just returned from two weeks at the Maria Mare Apartments in Argassi. We cannot fault the Maria Mare apartments and would not hesitate to recomment the apartments to anyone. We paid for a sea view but all the apartments have a side sea view.  The apartments are basic but roomy and clean. The kitchen was basic with two electric rings and a full size fridge.  The hand held shower took some getting used to but was O.K. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The apartments were not in the busiest part of the resort but close enough to be convenient, so it was very quiet.  The green frog supermarket and bar across the road were excellent and had everthing we could possibly want. We ate in a different restaurant every night and my two teenage boys had a fantastic time investigating the night life.  The resort is very much a family resort, and felt safe. During our time there we did not see any problems with drink etc. We had a fantastic time at the Maria Mare apartments. 

Hiya, we have just got home after spending a week at the Maria Mare Apartments & just wanted to say how nice they are, staff where very friendly, rooms where great, view even better.  Would definatley recomed these apartments to anyone.

Got back from Argassi a couple of weeks ago. we stayed at the marie mare appartments just wanted to say that this hotel is brilliant for anyone considering it. thanks for the staff for putting up with us and i would definately go back.

we are staying at the maria mare in 2 wks time .. can anyone tell us EXACTLY what the kitchen has in it ie microwave, oven, rings hob etc .. My huuby has a special diet and there is no point us taking a pile of food if there is no grill microwave or oven to cook them in .. many thanks ..

hello everyone that stayed in maria mare this summer its liam your rep, i had an excellent season really enjoyed meeting everyone of you, well not everyone hahaha only kidding. I really just wanted thank everyone that wrote something nice on the web site about me and those that got on the plane stopped laughing at them pink shirts for 2 minutes and ticked the excellent box (BIG THANK YOU) your'll be glad to here the hotel reached it highest score ever and if you are planning to go back or trying this hotel for the 1st time your making a very good choice, i didnt make it to make mexico this year but will be in crete if anyone wants to see me again! might just leave you to ponder that for a while humm!?! Dimi and family that own the hotel are real stars and will miss you lots hope you get a better rep for 2005 fingers crossed but i doubt you will though haha
well nerely finshed now but one other thing before i go, anyone that likes a good night out if the reps are putting a night on for food and then drinks after (normal called mix & mingle) go on it i promise you it will make your holiday (10/10)

Go to Maria Mare apartments - you will enjoy your stay!

We stayed from 14th September for a week.
Apartments are very clean, have fantastic views of the sea, great location, quiet, clean pool, not far from shops, staff are very friendly.
The Green Frog opposite the main reception has a good selection of groceries. It also has a good bar and restaurant. 100 yards left, and you have the most fantastic Granada taverna. Staff are very friendly and the food's bostin!

Approx 800 yards to the right of the apartments - you will find bars, all are very friendly and have Sky Sports! The best pub is The Oasis Bar - run by a Brummie family (Jude & Ken). You certainly do not get short measured with the drinks. Visit them and you will feel that you have known them for years.

Further on you will then come to shops, grocers, restaurants. There are 4 cash-points around the shops if you need them.

Upon departure, to keep room for few more hours until you get picked up - it will cost 15 Euros. But well worth it when you normally have to leave room by 12:00 and you have an evening flight. Even though the airport is 10 mins drive away, you get picked up 3hrs before!

The airpot is very small in we had to queue outside the terminal. Passenegers are called in packs of 20 to check-in. Then you have the excitement of possibly sitting on the floor, stairs to the duty-free shop as there were four flights checking in when we got there. When a flight is called to board, there's a scrable for a free seat. The sun through the glassed windows also makes it very warm - so get a drink! A new terminal is being built - but don't expect it to open till 2006.

All in all - a very relaxing holiday. Booking up for next year to same apartments already. Rep Liam is very helpful with info - hope he gets to Mexico as he deserves it.

Just got back after a really relaxing week. Apartments are in an ideal location and are nice and clean with fantastic views of the sea. There is no beach as such but the grass around the pool area and apartments and the fact that they are right next to the sea make up for it. They are situated at the end of the road which means it nice and quiet but not too far from everything you need. Would definately go back. Hope Liam gets his trip to Mexico, he always made himself known when he was in the complex which was good. Hope the airport gets upgraded soon.

if you are thinking of staying here then you have made the right choice in 15 years of coming to zante i have never stayed in such a clean and friendly hotel with the most amazing views there is no pool bar yet but the green frog is next door which you can get anything you like. great for all age groups,rep liam is fantastic takes great pride in his job and if 1st choice see this then send the poor lad to mexico he deserves its. i used liam to book some great days out (jeep safari and lazy day cruise) which we saw 5 turtles that made my wifes day thanks for that saved me ear-ache... very impressed all round 1st choice will be my 1st chioce again and again with there outstanding service.

wondefull holiday would definatly go back again. the rooms where ace and the pool guy was rather cute!!! thanks again for an amazing holiday! x
