Cant wait to come back, definitely recommend this bar to anyone going to argassi.

Hey Denis, Nickos and Emma ! We are just home 1 day and missing y'all in Beer Academy already. Had an absolute ball in Argassi thanks to the amazing hospitality of Denis and the gang. Between the cocktails , the music and Denis's ability to get everyone chatting we met alot of great friends and had alot of late nights - or should I say early mornings!! The Irish Sniper School was a great day out and Denis took us on his own time to his farm to go shooting. Brilliant day - thank you !!! We would recommend this pub to absolutely everyone - if you dont go in to the bar and have a drink and a laugh with Denis and the gang in Beer Academy ur holiday in Argassi just wont be the same. Beer Academy, great name!  Great place too, The rock nights they put on are very good, and the place is covered in footy shirts, no Scunny one yet tho. Just shows what a real popular place it is. The service is very good too. 10/10

oh yeah, this place rocks!  literally - a great rock night put on here.  nice to see all the footy shirts - must remember to bring a sc**thorpe utd one next time.   drank here on many an occasion.  kinda depressing seeing all these people playing far better pool than i could ever hope to, though....lol  9/10

just got back from argassi, and found beer academy the best bar in the whole of zante!!!! A word of warning tho, if you don't want to get dragged into drinking challenges with Dennis then don't sit at the bar!!!! He had people trying to drink a yard of cocktail!!!! We had a fantastic time here, and would recommend everyone to go!!!

Beer acandamy was fantastic! Played some great tunes, if u like ur old stuff you must visit. Coctails were great, atmosphere great, staff great. I just arrived back from argassi on the 22 july and had the best time ever, beer academy was definitly a contributing factor to our many drunken nights..... hope to come back next year and cant wait!!!!!!!!

GREAT BAR WITH TOP ATMOSPHERE, WE WENT HER EVERYNITE AND SOMETIMES NEVER LEFT. BEST POOL TABLES IN ZANTE. THE BEER IS CHEAP AND THE COCKTAILS R BRILL, U HAVE TO TRY GREEN PEACE, HOWEVER NEVER ORDER A DOUBLE VODKA BECAUSE U GET A FULL GLASS WITH A TINY BIT OF WHAT EVER YOU WANTED IT WITH.

Just got home from zante today and have to say that the holiday was great, made even better by the guys at the beer academy, took some great photos and would love to go back. If anybody knows the postal address of the Beer Academy it'd be a great help as I really want to send them a signed football shirt or scarf as I'm from Portsmouth and it's about the only one they didn't have on the wall.

This is the best bar in Argassi, we were there last year and when we returned this year we were greeted like old friends all the guys remembered us ,i like the new fire juggling that nick did this year We also were lucky enough to run into dennis who is no longer working in the bar. Yamas to u all for making it another great experience. if u are in Argassi u must visit the beer academy!!!!!!

Me and my family have just returned from Argassi today, the Beer Academy is a brilliant place to go as you are made to feel so welcome by everyone. I am going back next year and the Beer Academy will be one of the first places I will visit

We stayed in Kalamaki this year, but made a couple of trips back in to see Nick & the gang. Sorry to see Dennis wasn't there, but Nick said he had returned to Athens to go back to college. Good luck, Dennis!

The welcome we recieved from Nick was staggering. I didn't really excpect him to remember us, with the amount of different people that pass through the doors, but we were warmly welcomed like old friends. He was even telling the new boys about the antics I was getting up to the previous year. (I don't know if that's a good thing or not!!!!)

Top Bar Top Staff Top Night out. Perfect for the sports fan with 2 big screens in there and 3 pool tables. Nicos and the rest of the staff are a right laugh and the prices in there are not dear. Hung out in this place alot the first 2 times I went and made a point of going there every night this time. It was just annoying my hotel was the other ed of argassi otherwise i would have been in there alot more.

this bar is all you need a great place to go many nights spent in here getting far to drunk!!! me & sebbe tripped up on it on our 1st few days of the begining of last season where we met nikos & dennis last years barman who i know is missed this year, they are both very good friends & seeing them this year was brilliant! everyone works very hard & all of you are people that wont be forgotten easily!

We went to this bar basically every night, it was a wicked place, the guys there (and the girl!) are all dead cool and its a top place to hang out day or night!

Great place to be!! Loved the football matches and Karaokie night!! All other visits were great 2, very friendly people!!

We have just got home from Zante for the second year running, the Beer Academy is a must, its a very friendly place and the guys behind the bar will keep you amused, Nick with his famous bottle juggling!!! you have to go just to see that, the drinks are great and all good value,also a good range of music, entertainment and two large tv screens if you fancey watching any sport, thanks to Nick and Peter for another wicked 2 weeks and see you very soon, fi and steve(24 JULY,2003

APPOLLO BAR - You will not find a better (or more crazy) welcome anywhere on the island. Nico (bar owner), Dimi (barman) and Sinbad (compare & entertainer) are the best ever! Sinbad is a Lancashire lad and works very hard to make sure you are enjoying yourself, Dimi just never stops working and what he doesn't know about cocktails is not worth knowing (no control on the amount of vodka though!) Breakfast in the bar is good - and not expensive. Just an all round great expereince - just tell the guys Mike (long time D.J.) and Dee (Tiggers friend) sent you - you will be looked after like never before - and say a big HI to the lads for us.

we went here most nights it was good...BUT avoid the Patersons from Denny as they FORCE you to sample all the cocktails,,,,
still a great place to drink and watch sports channels.

I liked the beer academy alot as the drinks weren't to expensive, the music was good and there were 3 pool tables. We went here nearly every night. Also the bar staff were nice and friendly.

The Beer Academy is a good pub with reasonable prices and excellent service. Don't have a Malibu though as they use fake 'Marabu' instead which tastes awful (lots of bars do this). Stick to bottles and beers.

Went there most nights for the final drink. It was really good. Good music and good waiter/ress service. A spendid pint of local beer. Good sport coverage too which the missus didn't really warm too but of course I did.
Defo worth a visit.

Went here most nights and had a great time the bar staff are excellent and will entertain u all night they get to know u and it makes u feel so welcome will definately be returning this year and we cant wait, has everything u need good music drink and all the sky sports u need to keep up to date with the football.

It was OK...music and TV sound was a bit loud for my liking.OK while you are in there but it gets annoying when it can be heard in your apartment 500 metres away!

Music bar run by Dennis & Nick, a couple of young lads who thrive on juggling bottles, glasses, ice cubes and anything else they can lay their hands on while serving up a wide variety of cocktails! Always friendly, and they always remember you and what you drink. The place was often full of the same "regulars", and the two lads were always up for a laugh. Prices were about average, and the service was always quick My only gripe, is that the TV sound replaced the music when a big match was on, but that's only an opinion from a football hating visitor anyway!!!

Excellent time at the Beer Academy! Even had to run back at 1:30am on our last day for a T Shirt for my gal! Only thing, the wee lass that serves drinks needs to tighten her bum bag a wee bit, it spends most of its time round her ass! Also gained a dpiloma from the academy!!

Just back from Zakynthos this morning, airport a nightmare! Beer Academy was fantastic, no other bars like it! The Bar Staff were Hunks, esp. the one who brings the drinks to you on a night!! Achieve a diploma in the Beer Academy last week, worth checking out!!

The beer academy was a very friendly bar with two large tellys with sky sports (nice) the beer is good and cheap and the bar staff excelent spent alot of time in here.

We spent two weeks in Argassi and most of our time in the Beer Academy (or i spent most my time dragging my boyfriend out)! The staff were great and always very friendly and welcoming, big hi to Dennis and Nick. We watched the first three England games in the Beer academy as the atmosphere was always how it should be. Dennis plays some blinding tunes, ask him to mix a few sometimes or if your lucky (like i was) he may play some of your own cds for you. Definately worth a visit to the beer academy and i can guarantee you will go back. Also forgot to add, drinks are better priced here than further down!

Great place opposite Hotel eleana with 2 pool table 300 drachmas.Waitress service very good.Great place for sports as they have largest screen in Argassi.It has been opemed 2 years.Ask to see photos from 2000 & 2001 and you'll notice the difference and how well Nicos and his staff have done.Great Karoake night, best in Argassi.

Huge tv to watch sky sports on (it was really funny watching Hull v Leeds rugby league and seeing the rain pelt down as usuall whilst we were drinking cocktails) It is a waitress service they get your drinks for You and are freindly enough it has 2 full size pool table for 300drs a game. Its only fault is that it dosnt know weather to be a family pub or a couples bar

I have just come back from argassi and i can tell you that the beer academy is a relatively new bar that is located near the phoenix restaurant and across the road from the 'prince of asia'

To the best of my knowledge it's not in Argassi-I've been going to Zakynthos since '86 usually two or three times a year. I suspect it's in Laganas but no doubt someone will be able to clarify this.

where is the Beer Academy? I have been to Zante 3 times in the past 2 yrs and I haven't seen it yet, I'm going again in the summer. Thanks
