    Stayed here twice before. And will be returning in July 2008.
Excellent family location, or even for couples. Despite other peoples comments, it is very clean and quiet (the dog down the road does bark sometimes) . The service is excellent, Mary and Dimitri and there family are all very friendly and welcoming.
Poolside bar is good, with excellent food.
Just a great time. |

stayed in the mary apartments in 2002 i found the rooms very clean and
the maid came in on time and the pool bar was good to go and have
a drink in and there was very nice people there to talk to and met
loads of people for once lol
i would love to come back to this place again it was BRILLIANT !!!

We at the Mary Apartments in October as my sister was getting married in Zante. We found the apartment was clean and tidy, just what to expect from a self catering studio apartment. ALL of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Stavros came across the road every now and again but didn't cause a problem. The evenings were generally quiet for the time of the year, not too sure what it is like in peak season. the food was excellent especially the salads. The town as a whole are all friendly and can recommend the all day Breakfast at the Great Dane |

We stayed at the Mary studios last year from the 1st to the 15th June. Having read the reviews I am relieved that it was notjust my family that thought Mary and Demitri were totally unfriendly! and Stavros! aaaarrggh! he was a total pain in the neck - yes it was a family pool - I would not expect anything less as I was on holiday with my 3 year old daughter and 4 year old nephew. Stavros kept dive bombing them and going for their feet under the water and his mum sta back and watched, occasionally getting up and asking him to calm down. When my 3 year spilled some ice cream by the pool - this was not unnoticed by demitri who immediately charged over with a mop and shouting in greek -
We stayed in room one over looking the main road - when we arrived the room was occupied by someone else so we had to wait for them to vacate then wait for the cleaner to clean it for us. The shower room was awful tiny, dingy and dangerous as their is no shower curtain or door so the whole bathroom gets soaked!
The cockerils we could cope with - they didnt glare at you as if you were a real pain in the neck when you asked for the light bulb changing (THEY DID THIS 4 DAYS AFTER ASKING)
Argassi is great as a resort - The owner of the dolphin supermarket (Peter) was fantastic - he owns the restaurant next door but I cant remember what is was called but the food was excellent - as well as the service - they make a real fuss of kids! it was the only place that had a kids activity corner which was great as our kids got to play with other whilst we had a meal.
If you fancy Argassi, go for it we loved it the only thing missing was a sandy beach - but I would not recommend Mary Apartments I am afraid

| stayed at the mary studios in june 2002 and i found it very clean i didnt hear any dog barking and found people very polite bars in argassi are brilliant especially the red lion food in red lion wicked and great value for money . |

| We stayed in the Mary Apartments 7th Sept - 21st Sept. This was the second time we stayed here and yet again had an absolutley brilliant time. Yes the cockerals crowed and the dogs barked but you get used to it, we even gave them names such as KFC and chicken soup! We met some brilliant people and had such a laugh. Mary and here family were the same as ever very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed ourselves so much we have already booked to stay at the Mary apartments next September. Oh and the weather was superb. |

Just back from 2 weeks at Mary Apartments - stayed in block 1 which overlooks the road - and oh my god - what a racket - we were woken up constantly by bikes and that b***** cockrel ! The apartments were clean though, and the bins were emptied daily. However, I must agree about Stavros - he is surely Damien ! He tormented other children in the pool, and one day deliberately stood on my friends head as he walked by her when we were in the pool ! I spoke to his mother who is an English woman who has married into the family - her response was that "it's a family pool - and by the way I'll remind you who owns it " ! We were not impressed.
If you are not keen on children (or the anti-christ), I wouldn't recommend these apartments - they are popular with families. Food wise the Palmyra is excellent - the spagetti alla putenesca and chicken souvlaki are great !

| We had a great time.Everything was so nice, we are going to visit them again next month. Mary was very nice with us, the snack bar is perfect, the pool was georgous. The accomodation is very nice lots of flowers and trees. Also we went in Argassi beach it was nice, sandy beach and we had a geat time, their paracliding, ringo and banana are the best. Sakis and Kostas are great. |

| Just arrived back from 2 weeks holiday. This is the 5th time we have stayed in argassi, it is great. Mary & Demitri are so friendly, with a bit of time demitri can understand & be understood. What dog's barking? We will certainly be returning. |

| Very noisy - lots of motor bikes at night - and the bloody dog barked all night and morning. The pool is very cold and Mary is torn faced - had to tell her that the gardner had his music on 2 loud. We had to move rooms from 1 to 3 as 1 was to noisy. Sheets were supposed to be changed 3 times a week - they only did us once. And that was because we moved rooms. Argassi is very good - but expensive. If you want a portrait done - the guy next to the Palmera is the best 30euros for a picture - but worth it. |

| the thing you sad about stavros is a load of ball sh**. he didnt do anything and he likes his dogs! anyway the acccomidation is great with some good pool which i spend hours in(but it is very very cold). |

Good location, lovely country, lovely weather.. what more could you want, except some peace and quiet in the night with the crazy dog they have... The dog had 8 puppies so can you have imagined what the place would be like in a few years time, except that Stavros ( 7 year old heir to the resort ) killed five of them by drowning four in a bath of mud and stabbing the other... would'nt fancy being there in 10 years time ....
Rooms are small, hot water runs out very quickly and cleaner likes to get you up early if the dog hasn't already.
I heard a lot of reports that Mary was really friendly, I thought that the Greek people were kind and generous and very friendly but I am afraid to say that we didn't think Mary was one of them.. We did notice that all the English that we in and around the resort were really friendly also... |

Just got back. Really nice apartments, clean and taidy and fairly spacious.
The pool is great and the staff are friendly and its also only a short walk into town, which is perfect.
Make sure you visit the Elena Grill House, if you stay here as they are the best!
Only two problems with this place tho - the cockeral and the dog. Arghh! |

Just come back - it was very hot!!
Very good apartments - clean & fairly roomy - by Greek standards.
Studios are small though- my brother stayed in one with his girlfriend & baby, they were unhappy with their room - just one room with three beds & a bathroom.
Otherwise - far enough away from town to be quiet, but close enough to walk in less than 5 mins.
Pool nice & clean, bar - inexpensive, food Ok - owners v. friendly although do not speak much English.
Would stay here again - especially if they shut the dog up!! |

| stayed here september -spotless clean as was pool-stayed in mary 4 room 11 brilliant view all way to zante town and across the bay-only problem dog barking all night and cockerel crowing early morning -very friendly owners and would not hesitate to return |
