The Proprietor, the chef, the waiters, the surroundings and the food are simply brilliant!

Brilliant place! Only had lunches on the way back from the beach, but as ever, we were made extremely welcome. The staff always remember us and try to teach us a little more Greek every time we go in...which is most days. Petros and the boys will always serve you what you want, not necessarily what's on the menu. Looking forward to our next visit, hopefully October 2007. Thanks to Petro, Pano, and the others for your excellent sevice and attention. Bravo, efharisto poli e tilemmi meta! (apologies for my bad Greek and the bad spelling!)

We've just returned from Zante ....  25th May 2008. We stayed in Hillside in 2006 and really enjoyed it. We went to Argassi for the day this year (from Kalamaki) and rumours abound that Hillside (and other areas of Argassi) are no longer used by British Tour operators. If the rumours are true, this would be a real shame, as Hillside haswonderful panoramic views of the village, the sea and the mainland. I'd try to book Hillside by some other means if I were you, as they are a great place to stay. Argassi will sink like a stone if British operators pull out of the studio and apartment business and continue to push people towards 'all inclusive' hotel holidays. Do your bit for this lovely island, refuse the tour companies route and demand the self catering, apartment type holidays, otherwise, these gits will have us all over a barrel by reducing customer choice. This year, 2008, the studios should cost you around 20 to 25 Euros a day... go for it!

I'd give it 10/10 but even Gordon Ramsey would struggle to be perfect every time!

Bravo and efharisto poli to Pano, Valardis, Lorenzo, the 'new boy' and all the kitchen staff.

I would give it 10/10, but even Marco Pierre White can't be perfect every time!   

Just got back from Asteri after our umpteenth visit there.

Loved it yet again. Mina and George were brilliant, as they always are.

The lads and lasses at Costa's pool bar were as good as ever, and made our holiday special.

Thanks to all concerned, and all at Sofia's supermarket.
