Akropolis Restaurant

I went there last year and the food,service and everything else was quality. there was this well sweet waiter he was scottish he was a geezer. This place is a must make sure you go there.

Best restaurant in Laganas. Bit more expensive than some of the more central ones but you're only paying £6-7 for a meal. The service was first class so I guess the chap who had to wait for 1 1/2 hours was really unlucky. Its out of the way so get a cab (should be about 2000 dracs). The Metzedes is brilliant.

The akropolis rest was very nice. the surroundings were a big attraction. the only things that let it down was the service. it almost 1.5hrs to recieve our food after ordereing. The portions that we got were very small. the t-bone steak was the size of a decent lamb chop.

Is this near Mon Repos apartments? And how good is the food - all Greek I hope!! By the way, we've got a chippy with the same name as this place and its the best chippy around, hopefully this place has the same high standards!!

When i went last year it was quality, nice food nice drinks, reasonable prices. I advise anyone to go there, very very relaxing.

Kat - Vegetarianism is slowly catching on in Greece, but most restaurants will only do the same basic stuff. Try Melitzanes (Cooked Aubergines) which are gorgeous, and all the different types off dips.

Is anyone aware good restaurants with a good vegetarian selection?

Our favourite restaurant. The food is good, well presented and the surroundings are attractive.
