Litsa Studios - (Accommodation in Tsilivi)

Susan G

The Litsa was great. Its very basic but is kept clean and the surrounding garden is beautiful. The lizards that sit on the lights are so cute and also protect u from any massive moths and bizarre flying insects lol!! I would say to anyone abit scared of dogs to watch out tho. The house near to the apartment has 2 rottweilers that bark quite abit and they are intimidating. They are usually chained but not always. Theres also a big mongrel owned by someone living in the apartments next to the shop that was left running around one day and scared the sh*t out of us.It was growling and looked as tho it was going to lunge for us. Make sure you walk past the manousis(sp?) apartments on ur way in to town. its the path through the garden round the back.We found that we didnt get any hassle from dogs after that. Apart from that its lovely and a great base for exploring tsilivi. The beach down that end is beautiful.Look out for butterflys too.

Apollon - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

The food was lovely and the service was great. We found the staff to be friendly. I had oriental chicken souvlaki  which was lovely. It was basically souvlaki with a little dish of sweet chilli sauce which really went well together! My boyfriend had a chicken stew dish.We cant remember what it was called. We will definitely be back next year.

Ariadne - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Susan G  (02 August 2005)

We had a lovely meal here and would definitely go back. I reckon that there must be a new chef in for this year because we had one of the best meals ever.I had the Ariadne seafood spaghetti dish with cream, tomato sauce and prawns( i chose not to have the tuna and muscles in it) and my boyfriend had chicken souvlaki with bacon. We really enjoyed it!Will definitely be back next year.

Benikos - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Susan G

We ended up going in to benikos because the girl handing out cards used to chat to us quite abit on the way past. We ended up becoming good mates. Her name is Beth/Betty. Such a sweet girl and we got along great with her. The meal itself was nice. I had Beef youvetsi which was nice but i felt there was just way too much. My boyfriend had a mixed grill which was lovely but again just too much.I would go back and get a smaller meal.

Grapevines Hotel - (Accommodation in Alykanas)

Susan

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 weeks and just arrived home yesterday. The apartments are fantastic and always kept very clean. Our room was cleaned nearly every day during our stay. The views around the apartments are stunning with the rolling green hills and trees everywhere. Its also a good base for exploring around the resort and not far from all the shops, restaurants, pubs and the beach . Christina and George are friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be back to stay here again sometime.

Alykanas Beach - (Beaches in Zante)

Susan

My boyfriend and I spent most of our time on the beach during our time in Alykanas and really enjoyed it. The sand is lovely and soft and shelves gently in to the clean clear water. The watersports here are fantastic. We went paragliding which was amazing!! The sunbeds and parasols cost 7 euros and there are a few eating places nearby. The views on the beach are fantastic too.

I also noticed that its a blue flag beach, some guys were putting up the flag a few days ago.

Greedy Greek - (Restaurants in Alykanas)

Susan   (19 June 2006)

Not good if you fancy a romantic or relaxing meal. I think it would be quite good for kids as they ask you up to dance and you can't really say no lol! The food was ok but not the best we had in Alykanas.

Paradosiako - (Restaurants in Alykes)

Susan

This restaurant is always packed and I can completely understand why. We had the best meal of our holiday in here and couldn't believe how amazing the food was. I had roast chicken and had no idea that it could taste that good. The portions are big, served with the usual salad, rice and roast potatoes which all taste so fresh and well made. Everything here was delicious. If you enjoy chocolatey puddings you've got to try the Oreo cookie base one they serve here. It was incredible. Fruit salad was beautiful too.
The restaurant itself is very relaxing and romantic.

The staff were all so friendly and the service was great.

Btw If you're a big rock/metal music fan you should get chatting to Andreas. He has a very wide music taste and a massive record collection so we sat gabbing for ages. Great guy!!
