If you like a taverna that allows customers with barking dogs its for you but not for us!

Absolutely quality restaurant, food was superb and possibly the best meal we had during our 2 week stay. I had a grilled octopus starter and lamb kleftiko main both of which were cooked to perfection. My wife had the mixed grill which she said was fantastic, salads were lovely too. The decor is very nice with a modern/traditional feel and sparkling clean throughout. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Great restaurant, halfway between Alykanas and Alykes.  We ate here twice and thoroughly enjoyed both nights.  Great menue, very reasonably priced and lovely staff.

Just returned from a week's holiday in Alykanas.  Had dinner twice at the Paradosiako.  The beef stifado was excellent, it just melted in your mouth.  Great garlic bread.  Had sardines twice, they weren't on the menu, just asked if there were fresh sardines. By far the best toilet facilities in all of the places we tried !! 

I have to say that this restaurant was my favourite of our two week holiday. The restaurant had not lost it's beautiful greek charm and was not decked out with entertainment for the kids, which has both its plus and minus points. I have a little girl who is almost three who loved the various places with bouncy castles and trampolines but these, helpful as they were at times, also proved too much of a distraction and she rarely ate more than two mouthfuls before running off again!!

Anyway, this restaurant was lovely both times we ate there and I secretly wished we had gone there much more!! The prawn saganaki was gorgeous and the best I sampled in the area. We went there for our final night and were not let down by the quality of the food or the friendliness of the service.

Nice trip from Alykanas on the horse and cart and then lovely food. If we return I will be popping back to this restaurant! Oh, and they also reduced the price of there meals, presumably due to the lateness in the season!

Just got back from Alykanas/Alykes and although the weather wasn't the best some of the places that we ate more than made up for it. Paradosaiko being one of them. We ate here twice in all as we like to try other restaurants but I would say that this is one of the best in the area. The menu is vast and every meal we had was cooked to perfection, the first night we ate here we had the steak in peppercorn sauce and the red snapper, both were lovely and we had lovely wine too. The service was excellent. The second night we ate here with friends and again great service and food, I wish I had tried the moussaka here as it looked amazing and the meze sharing plate to start was also top notch, shame we didn't get onto that sooner as it was the last time we ate here but our friends really enjoyed it! Rounded off the evening with free shots - what more could you want!

Some Restaurants in Alikes would like to think they are a better eating place. Believe me they are wrong this was the best !( followed closely by Paparo !)

Lovely restaurant, well worth the walk from Alykanas ! But be warned, it gets very very busy and while we were there people were queing up waiting for a table !

me (margaret , john gary and lorraine had a fantastic meal here the food was to die for and the desserts were mmm yummy) go check it out you wont be disapointed

We only visited just the once during our hols but the food was delicious.

Probably the best meal of the holiday, although we had a few good ones.  We just had the pureed feta with peppers and crusty bread to start, followed by pork fillet & moussaka.  Delicious!!!

fantastic the best restaurant ever such nice people but even nicer food we found it on our first night and we went back for the rest of our 2 weeks would highly reccomend this to anyone visitng zante

Wow.  Ended up here at 8pm after a late finish on the beach.  All sorts of people - some locals some tourists, some dressed up some still damp from the beach.  Everyone gets a good welcome and a great meal. 

    Fantastic as usual...we have just come back from visit number 14 since 1997 and food and service is fabulous....bring on summer 2008 

Just returned from another fortnights holiday in Zakynthos with George & all his family being a very important part of our time there.

Yet again excellent food & great service from a restaurant where they treat you as part of the family .................... and not "just another customer."

Glad to see your rating back to the Normal 10/10

 This is our third year going to Zante and we have eaten here almost all of the time. The service and food are to die for having tried quite a few on the Island and as for the service we could not find any fault wotsoever. The family are great and could not do enough for us. Yes they get busy I ask myself would I want to eat somewhere that is nearly empty. I think not, this is proof that everything is excellent.   I cannot understand why the site only gives it a 6 when we  would give it a ten or more. I hope when anyone goes on holiday this year they try here because I can assure you if you have to wait it will be worth it. Happy eating.

As I said this Taverna is second to none we have become great friends with all the family  Yes it does get very busy but what can you expect with such a great place.

We tried to eat here last year but on the night we had planned they were fully booked. We are just back from Alykanas and ate here once this year  - Food and service were first class - EXOCHICO ( Rolled pork filled with mushrooms,tomatoes,olives and peppers) with a lovely rose wine  was superb.

We have been using Paradosiako every night we are on holiday for the past 4 years & we have never had a bad meal there yet....

The Service is always good & the food unbeatable, we have recommended it to many of our friends with no bad reports from any of them to date, I cannot understand the negative reviews which have been left on this site.

As I said this Taverna is second to none we have become great friends with all the family & the regular customers that are there when we are. Yes it does get very busy but what can you expect with such a great place.

Went to this restaurant because of previous reviews on this website. I only visited once because I found it average. Not a very varied choice of greek starters to choose from. No real complaints, just average.

Third visit to Alykes and until this visit this has been our favourite taverna.   However, only dined on one occasion this holiday.  The food was excellent when  we finally received it after waiting two hours because the orders were mixed up.  I think that because this taverna has had such a good reputation in the past, the staff have become a bit complacent and really couldn't care less. Now found a better taverna where the food, service and price is excellent and will be dining there on each occasion during future visits to Alykes.  Have already booked our hols for next year.

We went here twice during our week, we liked it, it had a nice feel to it!  The food was pretty average & we came to realise that most restaurants serve the same stuff!!!  They all seem to think that the english eat chips so they put this with everything!!  One night my boyfriend had chips, roast potatoes & rice all on the same plate - whats that all about!!!  Anyway, nice restaurant!
