just woke up after one of the best nights i have had ever in tsilivi. went to see the judge last night in enigma and it was brilliant. dying with a hangover now so im going back to bed, but just wanted to say well done to mark lee danny johnny richie etc. for putting on such a good night. it was just what us workers needed. to anyone reading this and considering coming to zante this year the lineup for the rest of the season looks excellent. brandon block, alex p and tall paul will all be making an appearence so make sure you check out enigma

The best thing about this place, was that it was empty all the time we were there. It just spoils Tsilivi. Afterall, who wants to go away for a relaxing break and have thumping headbanging music piercing your ear drums? If you want lively nightclubs, then go to Laganas.

Just come accross this site and thought Enigma deserved a mention! I must say how great it was to have a nightclub FINALLY in Tsilivi! I went a few years ago and was unimpressed with the so called 'nightlife'. Enigma has really opened the village up into a real holiday resort! As you can see all was excellent! I hope to visit again in summer 2005 and of course will be making regualar stops at Enigma! Just ONE little observation....not sure who the woman in the outfits that a teenager would wear was! the nightly club entertainment perhaps?!who knows, a bit stupid and clueless she seemed!! oh well keep up the good work all at enigma! signing off for now.

This club is ace, it defo topped our holiday off, met loadsa ppl wud so recommend it

the great thing about enigma is how its just down the road from manos grill!!!! greatest restaurant. lifetime beach abr is the best for toasties and pizzas and he puts football on and mint music. adn peters summertiime bar down the road from manos towards the beach is fantastic ask him for a game of pool u will lose! and the only alcohol he drinks is jack daniels..last time i was there he had 300 or 600 odd bottles all over his bar ....recommended by ToM

Been to tsilivi 4 times now in the past 2 yrs. Gr8 nightlife throughout the town. dont get me wrong, Enigma is a crackin club (yes club, like bak home) but by September it does get a lot quieter in their. But in July i gave it a 10 out of 10!!!!

Used to work in tsilivi and was a regular in enigma. Its a fab place where the guys really look after you the club is wicked. mark puts on theme nights as well so keep an eye out for those they are top!! The club is the best but just take a look for yourself get yourself down there on the skool disco nite on a saturday a very popular nite. Anyway as I am home now just wanted to say hello to mark and lee miss u guys and I expect that photo of me and ami to be put on this website soon. take care and hope to see you next year have a good winter

I am a Tsilvi worker too and yes, the club does get busy. we go there most nites. only nite not busy is on a sunday when all the holiday companys change over and everywhere is dead as a dodo! enigma is a'proper' club and not just a bar with musik!

Well believe me I did....I was there till it shut on one of the nights....still no-one there.

Try staying out later than 12.30 stephen for when people start arriving at the place I dont finish work till 1am and dont normally get to the club till 1.30 thats when the place gets busy !

If you're interested in 15 year olds then this is the place for you!

Theres probably only about 10 people in there at any one time, so never any atmosphere.

I can only say that if you decide to go there you must try the pole dancing....

Went to Tsilvi last summer andluved it. just come back again. enigma was great and cheep drinks (great for us irish!!!!!!).Gina G was great on a wednesday night, luved the boots!.see you in october guys. good to see you Mark again.

to char, kids can go in any pubs at any time and drink. enjoy Tsilivi its brilliant have been there 8 times in the last 5 years. This year went to Corfu to Kavos, but am going back to Tsilivi in October. Go in the Red Lion and enjoy. Yours - Gill

Cant believe all the 'excellent' comments! This place certainly looks good, which is why we went in, but has got to be the quietest bar in Tsilivi. We went in peak season ( end of Aug ) and you could tell how despererate they were to attract people they had a special offer on, ' drink as much as you like for 20euros ', even this didnt get people in. Every night while this place was empty i joined most other people dancing and drinking at the 'Planet' bar only couple hundred yards away.

As one of Thomson's "Tsilivi Girls" for summer 2003, i spent alot of nights in Enigma with some of the best friends i have ever made. I would like to say hi to Phil, Kev, Mark, Giannis and the lovely man we named 'filimoo', and i'm sure lucy, sarah, jo, shelley, becca and laurie would say the same. Take care guys and i'll see you in April.

I WENT TO ENIGMA A FEW TIMES AND THE MAN THAT WORKS THERE SHORT,BALD AND FAT ONE (THINK HIS NAME IS PHIL OR KEV) IS SO RUDE I WONT BE GOING IN THERE NO MORE THE GREEKS GET THERE DRINKS FOR 2 EUROS AND THE ENGLISH HAVE TO PAY 5-7 A DRINK BUT THE MUSIC IS GOOD BUT IF YOU GO TO ANY OTHER BAR THEY WILL PLAY ANY MUSIC YOU WANT,THE DRINKS ARE THE SAME PRICE FOR EVERYONE AND IS A MUCH BETTER SERVICE AND YOU WONT BE CALLED RUDE NAMES WHEN YOU ARE ONLY HAVING A QUITE DRINK WITH YOUR MATES.

This is a bit of a delayed post cos we got back 5/9/03!!!!! Enigma has to be the best place in tsilivi for a night out-drinks are cheap, music is great and phil,kev and mark are the best guys on the island!!! Phil definitely has the gift of the gab, and knows how to tell a riddle, as we, stan, lisa and 2 other guys learned at 4.30 in the morning! So thanx guys we loved it!
Ps: Phil if u ever fancy coming to Aberdeen , grannys always got a spare room in the mansion!

Enigma was our 1st bar we ever went to in Tsilivi & it was our starter bar for the rest of the week. Thats were we met Stefan & Aimee. Enigma had the best sex on the beach cocktail on the whole island for only 25 euros!! Phil was funny and so was the fella who set his hand on fire!Ta for all the free shots too.

Everybody raves about this place as it is the best bar in Tsilivi! It is not out of the way as the young lady (or may be she is old as she can't walk far!)says. it is between both parts of tsilivi. 20 euro to get in - I think she has the wrong place as it is FREE TO GET IN.the bar staff are great and musix was great, the best sound system around (i am a DJ myself!, the drinks are cheap, cocktails 2.50 euro and Kev and phil are very entertaininng - really guys!we are still suffering from that last mega session.

OK,how is everyone else raving about this place?? First of all, it's so out of the way and then all the times we actually bothered heading up there the place was E M P T Y!!! It sucked!! Music didn't sound great and it was 20 euro to get in-madness!! There was nobody dancing and only about 5 people standing around the bar looking bored. Maybe it's better at the peak of the season...........?

we spent most our evenings there. don't getbusy until late, but great.loads of free shots and you can choose what you wnat.lots of offers of drinks and some nights alcopops 2 euro! music is good and better than wehn we went last year. never seen such laser lights like at enigma. go there and even if not busy stay as it will get busy later.

go wit a buncha mates n get smashed, drinks are cheaper than alot of places here! went there almost every nite n got fish bowl! too much ice!!!! but its great fun, it doesnt get that lively till later on.. n then the doors to the club close from the outside bar, music goes up louder n the laser shows r great!
its great nite out, every really friendly- exept odd b***hy gal givin me dodgy looks wen im shakin my booty on the pole! lol!

Words cant describe how great this place is!! It may not look busy BUT dont let it put you off - go and chat to bar men and you'll never leave! Kev & Phil you made our holiday! It is a place for eveyone - we went as a couple and met loads of couples there. Its a great place to go, cheap drinks, good banter and a boogie if your drunk enough as the club is great inside! If you like shooters, doctor pepper ang getting plastered this is the place to go!! The best place is town. Thanks gi's for a great time!!

Can i say to the last few people that have just added comments are you sure you are talking about the right place? we have just got back to the uk after a fortnight in tsilivi and have to say that after spending the first two nights sampling the rest of the nightlife at both ends of town we tried enigma for the first time. We have spent our last two holidays in laganas and decided to try tsilivi for a change thank god you guys are trying to bring a bit of professionalism to a resort that is otherwise lacking, the bartending is amazing and rivals anything in laganas, in fact phil and kev (hiya guys)! are veterans of the laganas scene. If your idea of good music is listening to the same tunes over and over again all night then maybe you should stick to some of the lesser bars. We spent the rest of our holiday nights in this bar. The drinks prices i have to say are very reasonable considering the quality and definately no more expensive than anywhere else we tried (reportage, planet, ozzies, magdelenas etc etc).If this place isnt as busy as it should be then maybe some of the people that visit this resort should go in and try it, as we did ,topping off a great holiday, John, Sandra , Mark, Phil, Kev, and the rest of the staff keep up the good work thank you very much for a great time see you in september!

well, i did go inside, and it really wasn't great! I have to say that they were pretty stingy, esp as they wouldn't give my friend a free or even reduced price drink on her birthday. Even if your drinks are cheaper than some of the other bars, which they didn't appear to be, the bars run by Greek people had a more friendly atmosphere and the drinks were better value for money. I'm sure some people love this place, but it wasn't my scene. They music was awful, and no one could dance to it, which was a shame as it is the only club on Zante. But the guys handing out leaflets for free drinks were doing a great job! sorry, but maybe if the bar men smiled, even once, i would've enjoyed enigma more!

As the Owner of Enigma Nightclub, I would like to point to Ian Baxter that we never advertise Red Bull and vodka (in fact we never advertise spirits) on our boards so he must have meant another bar!

I would also like to point out that our drinks are cheaper that most other bars in the village.

So the club didn't look much? Yes you are right, saying that you can't give it a fair review without going inside. We are the only club on the island who has laser light shows.

Word of advice, don't make comments that are not correct!

This was the first place on my list to go aswell as Levels bar when I flew out here me and the missus even dedicated a few nights to go here!
However when walking past we found it looked so dull we didn't bother in the end - looking at bar prices from outside the best they offered was red bull and vodka for 6Euro - 4quid - good value?!
Rather go to all the Bar's as they were more than enough fun and reasonably cheap!
Can't write a fair review as I never went in but it didn't look much!

Only been back from Greece for two days and we are missing the late nights in the club already, we both had a fantastic time thanx phil for the last night me and nic managed to get on the plane ok even tho we felt a bit worse for wear. the pics are being developed as we speak so will let you all know asap.

Fab place. really busy when we went around 11pm, couldn't beleive a place like it would be in tsilivi.hi mark, phil and kev, thanxs for all the freebies!!!!!! and drinks!!!!!

Was empty almost every night! For a place that's mean't to be a buzzin' nightclub, it never seem so to me, the only night it was busy was when a pub crawl finished in it. That said, the music was pretty good, and drinks nice. Never stuck around that long as there was always more noise coming from other places, so went there instead to investigate.
Our Rep however told us that once the season kicks in proper (? - We went last week of June/ First week July) it really is a club to rival any in Lagana's. Give it a go anyway.

Well Darren the photos don't lie do they mate,u honestly cannot compare that shed of a planet to Enigma,what exactly do their bartenders do apart from what we already know about the sleazy albanians,ask some of the girls they will tell you.Don't know if the guys from Enigma even read this but,Phil,Kev.cheers for a great time,will promise to send some of the fire breathing photos!!!!!

This is by far the most over rated experience I have ever had.

Returned home friday morning safe and disapointed. Went into a bar in Dartford and was disapointed there was no flame throwers, free drinks, and the Billie Jean remix is not to be heard anywhere.

You guys really made our holiday truly memorable...

like the time errol threw up all in your garden, its really good fertilizer!

It really is a great place and will be back next summer to see how things have progressed. It was a pleasure spending our holiday with you, felt like we were leaving friends behind!!

Wow how good are the boys!! My fave club was Zero's in Laganas, but now that I've been to Enigma I have a new home. Phil and mark are brill, but Dave is kinda creepy. But I've heard he's well hung!! Keep up the good work, We'll see ya in the Caymens..

bar tenders out of this world with there cocktail flair and the fire breathing has to be seen to be believed,new state of the art lasers and lights in the nightclub,this place will really kick a**e this summer,phil and kev,sex on the beach for me please!!!

Great place and friendly bar staff. The sound and new laser display can rival anything in Laganas. Not very full in late May but come July and August i can see it being heaving. Boys, lots of top totty standing at the bar waiting for your chat up lines. Recommended !

i have been to greece 7 times and that bar has not been there long but it is great but i want to know 1 thing are kids over 13 allowed in please let me know i love that bar so if u are going to greece then call in you might even see me. that bar is mint

enigma club up the road from the center of the village, just past the bakers shop. Opened last year at end june.
Just arrived this week in Zante and it has had major work done outside and looks great.
Good music last year and drinks very cheap!you will like in there. Jane Ps is the hunky dj mark still there?

Enigma was excellent!!! I was only there 4 a week but i was in with my friend juliette every nite!!! Yannis was lovely and gave us loads of free drinks!!! thanks darlin!!! Grant was really fit and one of the reasons we kept coming back!!! well the reason i kept coming back!!! Jules came back 4 yannis!!! thanks 4 letting us blow ur whistle yannis 2!!! Enigma club is a great place to go, however always seemed to be empty!! Had many great nights in there with my mate jen. Rob is very sexy and the main reason we kept going back!!!

Great place. Just what Tsilivi needed. Cheap drinks for a nightclub and good music. DJ was great and just knew what to play to please the crowd! Early evening the DJ played in the Tower of the building and there was a great atmosphere in the outside bar. Zante here we come in October!

Club needs somebody to take control who knows what they are doing. Spoke to the lady owner last week and she is a lovely women but needs a decent manager to take it forward.. DJ needs to learn how to Mix, Doorman need to look like they mean it, silly man who drags people in needs to get out and about in the day and make sure club is made known througout the resort instead of having to make it look like they are desperate for custom. Could be a good club but need to work fast.

I was never really there but i know allot of the workers. such as Lisa rob sam matt jenny danny although he has gone noe. as well as i knew brad george and john at dundeez i love the place cant wait to come back to see everyone and work see you all soon and watch out zante i am coming back!!!

THE FIRST NIGHT I WENT TO ENIGMA IT WAS SO QUIET AND WE THOGHT IT WOULD STAY THAT WAY BUT BY THE SECOND WEEK OF OUR HOLIDAY IT REALLY LIVNED UP. I THINK IT WAS ALL DOWN TO THE WICKED DJ JUSTIN WHO IS REALLY GOOD AND GORGEOUS! GO AT 2 AT NIGHT AND ITS A GOOD ATMOSPHERE. DRINKS ARE DERE BUT JUST GET THE BLOKES TO BUY THEM!

We were bugged to go in there every night we walked past so we thought we would try it. When we got in there it was practically empty, at 2 o'clock in the morning on a saturday night. The drinks were expensive and they only had one room open due to the lack of people. The place would be excellent if it was packed but we were told it is like it was when we went in all the time, a local told us that. I'd get a taxi to lagana if you want a good night out clubbing!!!

Hi I'm Sandra owner of the Enigma Nightclub, the newest nightclub on the island and the only one in Tsilivi. It has the latest in lighting and sound equipment and will cater for over 1,000 people. It has a separate cocktail area inside the club and also a cafeteria/snack bar outside. In addition, there are outside balconies on the second floor where you can and sit and enjoy a drink and listen to the latest in music. The resident DJs are from the UK and play all the latest club chart music. Hope to see you soon!
