8 of us ate at point break& had a so called sunday english roast,it was absolute tripe&the excuse was "the chef let me down" when talking later on that evening we were told that that,s the normal excuse, however we left a tip (do better next time)  lance.

Jessica S  (15 April 2004)

hiya there! we loved it at point break. We visited Zante last July and it was wonderful. You always made us feel welcome. Changing my brothers evening meal to a breakfast all the time. ( fussy sod) Your family were great i think it was your daughter and her husband that owned the bar. They also made us very welcome. I'd also like to say that your Nephews are VERY VERY nice looking!! lol. If you want you can send me a pic of the two oldest ones on this email.THANX FOR A GREAT HOLIDAY love jess

Hey Up Steve,Maggie,Rich&Staff,
Sorry we've not been in touch 'till now but we've had problems
with the computer a bit like you have with your poached eggs Steve!Anyway once again we had a terrific time even if it was in June. Did Rich get rid of the figs?(cheers bud)Please pass on our compliments to the South African who once again will be contributing towards the expense of our next trip to Zante thanks to his astute
betting skills ie 10 Euros after yesterdays drubbing at Rugby! If you see Roger & Julie say hello to them. Sorry we can't be out again this year but hopefully you'll be there next year. If not let us know where you are via Neal. We'll come and see you!
Have you got a new 4x4 yet?
Love Ash & Alex

Susan A  (23 September 2003)

We ate at Point Break at the end of our holiday. What a shame we did not find it earlier. We had Sirloin Steak with garlic mushrooms,This was the best meal of our two weeks. We love eating out and was hoping to find some good traditional food but have to say nothing came close to this little cafe.

Gail H  (08 September 2003)

You can find every kind of restaurant. We spend most of our holiday evenings in restaurants rather than bars and have a meal with drinks so we liked the traditional taverna type restaurants and we have spent from €6 - €12 each for a meal again it depends on where you eat and what type of food you like. My problem is I like it all so had to try them all.

Point Break – English run. Normally we wouldn’t on principal go to an English place when in Greece as they say, but they had special of fish & chips one night which my other half couldn’t resist. It is just like going into any café you would find in England apart from of course the heat and being able to sit outside. It also does take away in case you have had enough of being social and fancy a quite night. We had a couple of evening meals and a breakfast on our final night. Fairly good food with good prices and made to feel very welcome. The only down side is that it is sandwiched in between Al’ Sandros Bar, Angels and a Supermarket which makes for a very noisy meal some nights.

Louise T  (01 September 2003)

Just come back today and only discovered this place at end of hols - you almost don't realise it is there. Fab food - gammon and steak are particularly good and the service is soo friendly. One of our cheapest and BEST meals of the whole holiday !

Margaret B  (19 August 2003)

Yes what a super smashing little cosy place this is, if you can find it because it is so small you probably keep on walking past with noticing. Just like I kept on doing until I discovered what a truly wonderful little place with smashing food and smashing friendly people this is! The truth is that in roasting hot June of this year we had an enormous thunderstorm and I was on my way out to reserve a table at Lambros my very favourite restaurant when the heaven opened!! The thunder and lightening crashed and flashed and the road was a river with the steps of Lambros a waterfall!! So I dashed into Point Break and was just in time to order and enjoy traditional English Grub of Steak and Guinness Pie with chips before there was a power cut. We all had a good laugh and I will go there again and recommend the little homely place to anyone who wants to feel not too far away from good old England!!

Lynne N  (26 July 2003)

Nice place, good breakfast and you get a pot of tea, not a tea bag in a mug, book swap as well. Nice people and their fans for hire are the cheapest at 7E a week.

Ash R  (24 June 2003)

Hi Steve & Maggie get the bacon going we'll be round on Thursday as we are flying in tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday). Best get the curry in the pot and keep it simmering for a few days cos us yorkshire folk know a good curry when they find one!
P S keep an eye on the dodgy south african working next door.Don't
get into any bets with him.
See you soon Ash & Alex

Sharon S  (09 June 2003)

great british breakfast pity it took couple of days to find

Paul/ J  (04 June 2003)

THIS IS A MUST WE LOVED IT

Jezebel G  (02 June 2003)

This is a really sweet little bistro style cafe, serving delicious home made english food, but in a much more attractive setting than most of the 'english food' establishments. The staff are all very friendly and the daily specials are just that.

Hans A  (20 April 2003)

First time in Greece and we loved every minute of it,will be here agin in August goood clean food and price, next door was a bit noisey though, this place is open day and night I really dont know how they doit I would reccomend this place to any one.

A much improved restaurant/cafe from last year, especially the friendly one to one service. We ate here every breakfast this year and most evenings - really tasty food, good prices and family atmosphere. Recommend it to anyone.
