Paporo Beach Restaurant

Me and my friend spent lovely week on Zakynthos this July and I have to say it was mostly because of lovely people in Alykes. Paporo restaurant was our favourite and we went there every day either for lunch or for dinner. Regardless if that was simple baked patatoe with tzatziki or something more sophisticated we were always fully satisfied with friendly service and quality of the food. At the end of our stay going to Paporo was more like visiting friends than dining in restaurant. I would recommend this place to everybody staying in Alykes

P.S. Thank you guys for everything....The wine we got from you on our last night was very nice and we had lovely time drinking it back at home and dreaming we were still in Zante. All the best!

I went to the restaurant for dinner and they are very friendly and the food is very good!
It's a traditional greek restaurant and next to it you can have a drink at the bar.
You have a fantastic vieuw on the beach and you can see Kefalonia on bright days.
We saw the sunset while we had dinner.The dinner was excellent and not expensive!
We can recommand this restaurant to all visitors of Alykes!!!!!
Don't miss it...you won't regret it!!!!

Very nice people.The food is very good and it's not expensive at all.
They take all the time for their customers and the people at the bar are also very friendly and entertain you the whole night.
You have a wonderful vieuw on the beach and there is also beach service.

Lovely beach location, same great service whether the eating party consisted of 13 or 2. The Lamb kleftiko was the best we have tasted anywhere - not just in Alykes

Ate here quite frequently for lunch.  Service was relaxed friendly and efficient.  Everything we ate was good, but the gyros at 2 euros were superb value.  No-one minds how long you sit there.  Truly Greek. Toilets were clean too!

Went to the greek night here on the Monday and had a great time. (Was very busy so would recommend booking.)

great food , lovely people , we ate there 3 times and each time the food was fantastic the service great and the greek night was really good  

We visited on "Greek Night" & were advised by the waiter to order the days special. The entertainment was good but the food wasn`t, being cold & greasy. The young chap who served us wasn`t interested once he had taken our order & seemed to care more about the conversation he was having on his mobile phone. Other customers were complaining also & saying it was normally much better food & service.At least the cats got a decent feed.

Its about time the rating for this place was up to 10 out of 10!!! Me and the family love Paporo..excellent service, gorgeous food and what a location!! had many a good time here (with many more to come im sure) and can't wait to get over in August and see everyone!xxx

 Nice Bar and Restaurant ----- Great location on the beach

A great setting whether you visit during the day or at night.  Wonderful place to sit and watch the sun go down with a lovelly cooling breeze.  Food was good value and tasty.  The staff very friendly and helpful. They had a Greek night on the Monday which was really good fun and the dancers were excellent.

Thanks again for being made so welcome.  This is a great bar in a fantastic location right on the glorious beach.  Food and drink are really good.  Fantastic place to be during the day and at night to watch the sun set.

Great place to sit and admire the view.  Thanks to everyone especially Paula and George for making our holiday one to remember.

Was disappointed that theyve cut the menu this year but food is still as tasty as always and good value.  If you visit Paporo during the day make sure you try the Gyros Pitta a bargain at 2 euros, theyre the best!!!

Never had a bad meal in Paporo, whether it be the italian menu or not. The restaurant is in a brilliant location and the staff are fantastic...always willing to help and are very friendly. Always come away from paporo stuffed and happy with our meals. See you all soon xx

Only had a gyros a couple of times, but they were the nicest ones we had in the resort and the beach view is lovely.

Well nobody seems to have commented on this place for a while so here goes.

Just returned from yet another fantastic 2 weeks in Alykanas.  However, every day we had lunch at Paporo.  They serve the best pizzas ever, they are to die for.

See you all later in the year.  

Ok, Food good, portions small, price higher, service good. Nice view of the beach while you eat.

We had  breakfast and luch here found it really good and enjoyed every meal we had.

Sorry, but i agree with helen... this was the worst meal that i have also ever eaten in Greece. I had Moussaka which came looking like a burnt piece of toast, completely dry, over cooked and in my opinion too old to be being served. There was a bit of lettuce and a slice of tomato also.

having gone to alykes for two weeks we ate out every night,one night  me my wife and our two young daughters decided to find a beach restaurant   we stumbled upon paporo .we were the only ones in there too start and just a few more people had dined and i mean just a few   b4 we left at 9.30 pm.  this was the worst place we had eaten in the food was so poor i wouldnt feed my cat the sort of crap this place was serving .greasy ,sub standard microwaved miniscule portions of food .it was disgusting   be  warned they put on service cover of   4 euros that u dont no about and  5 five euors for wot  i have no idea  was about .    AVOID THIS RESTAURANT LIKE THE PLAGUE   ....
