Just returned from our third visit to Roulla and Efi apartments. Already booked twice for next year. Eleni is definitely the 'STAR' of the Ionian Islands. Each visit has just got better and better. The hospitality shown to us is second to none.  The worst part of each holiday has been saying goodbye to Eleni, Sakis, Roulla, Efie and Soulla.  Can't wait for next year.  Kath & Mick, Stoke on Trent.

Just returned from our visit to Alykes.  Ate at the Ponderosa most nights in the fortnight. The food is great value for money and the service is excellent.  I was trying to work through the menu as everything that I tasted was divine.  My husband particurlarly liked the swordfish svoulaki and will be remembered by the staff for this.  A great big thank you and hello to Makki, Karen, Colin, Linda and Nancy for their outstanding service.  See you again next year. Third visit to Alykes and until this visit this has been our favourite taverna.   However, only dined on one occasion this holiday.  The food was excellent when  we finally received it after waiting two hours because the orders were mixed up.  I think that because this taverna has had such a good reputation in the past, the staff have become a bit complacent and really couldn't care less. Now found a better taverna where the food, service and price is excellent and will be dining there on each occasion during future visits to Alykes.  Have already booked our hols for next year.

Although did not stop at Clio Hotel we have eaten there on may occasions during our three visits to Alykes.  The family that own and run this hotel are most friendly and hospitable.  After every meal we were then given a complimentary platter of fresh fruit.   Had we not found our ideal holiday stay, this would be the hotel I would choose.

We are on countdown to our 4th stay with Eleni and family at Roulla Studios on 10 June.  Also booked for September of this year. Now that we have found heaven on earth, wouldn't want to go anywhere else, although there is a great big world out there to explore, Kath and Mick
