well what can I say.........................everything just perfect. Some of the best food I have ever had in my life   thanks to spiros  diann and stefis    ....see you all next year x

Elle C  (11 September 2005)

Food was excellent, all fresh unlike some of the highly rated restaurants located on the strip.

No tinned or frozen veg... I would not hesitate in recommending this restaurant, Sofrito was
excellent.

We went for a week and sadly ate here only once, but it was definitely my favourite! The Pastitsada that I had from the Corfu section was the most delicious meal I have had in a very long time. If I should ever return to Tsilivi I would definitely come straight here!

WELL WHAT CAN I SAY !!!

THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT THE STAFF PLEASANT.

WHEN WE SAT DOWN WE WERE GREATED BY SAM AND DIANNE  AND IMMEDIATLEY FELT AT HOME WE DINED THERE MANY TIMES IN OUR 14 DAYS STAY.

THE BEST THING WE LIKED WAS ALL THE FOOD WAS PREPARED FRESHLEY AND NO FROZEN FOOD SERVED UNLIKE OTHER RESTAURANTS WHICH WE VISITED. MOST OF THE TIME WE HAD FRESH FISH  AND SOMETHING SPECIAL TO TRY FROM MARINA.

THE KITCHEN AREA IS OPEN AND WAS ALWAYS CLEAN AND TIDY.

THE HIGHLIGHT OF OUR HOLIDAY WAS BEING ASKED TO SHARE SPIROS MOUNTAIN WINE WHICH AFTER 1 LITRE BLEW YOUR HEAD AWAY.  WE WILL BE RETURNING TO TSILVI FOR SURE AND OUR FIRST PORT OF CALL WILL BE SPRIOS AND MARINAS.

Stephanie H  (31 October 2004)

We ate here every meal (breakfast and dinner)for one week, and highly recommend the food,Spiros and his staff are all very friendly, service was first class.

Phil P  (23 September 2004)

We came here all the time, the food was the tastest of any of the restaurants in Tsilivi. Sam the waitress was bubbly and friendly and made you feel really welcome (hope you're doing well!). Spiros' shirts were certainly loud to say the least, but if you look in the supermarket next door you can see where he gets them from.(probably on the cheap) Dionsys was the name of the guy playing music, he was FAB!! Wait til he gets you to join in on the la la la la song. It's a very good laugh. The free Coffee shots you get when you pay are lush. GO HERE!!!!

Richard S  (22 August 2004)

To be honest we never ate here. But its worth a walk past to see captain Smarmy (Spiros I gather from the reviews below) who has an amazing collection of tacky shirts. Hawaii-5-0 meets the Grateful Dead in glorious rayon! Enjoy

We liked this restaurant and we liked the staff, nothing was too much trouble for any of them and we liked going there for an english breakfast.Hope to see you agin next year

Jim B  (20 October 2003)

I was very disappointed with Yiasou Yianni. This was one of the more expensive meals we eat in Zante and without a shadow of a doubt, the worst. What on earth was going on with that cheesy chilli dip!

Might just have been a bad night, but we wouldn't go back :(

Anita B  (12 October 2003)

We loved this restaurant. Spiros lured our kids in on our first night and we were hooked. The food is great, gorgeous gyros and mezzes, the kids menu is good and they will do smaller versions of adult food if you want it. The staff are all very friendly (especially the english waitress who translated for us!) and Spiros is hilarious, dancing and singing in the street. We saw people virtually running past to avoid being dragged in!! We thought this was excellent value for money and went there several times. (One down point is the takeaway mezze - don't bother it wasn't that good.)

Yiasou Yianni is a great resturant with delicious food (do try the corfu dishes). The resturant has live music every night by Sakis who has an amazing voice. You cant miss this resturant - just look out for the crazy man outside named Sprios, he is very funny! XXX

Yiasou Y  (24 March 2003)

Yiasou Yianni restaurant opened in 2001. Last year it underwent extension and refurbishment to the outside areas. We specialize in traditional Greek and international cuisine with a selection of flambé dishes. The food is freshly prepared and all the meats are cooked on charcoal. Organic produce is used as much as possible. As the owner is from Corfu, there is also a selection of dishes from there to try. There is an extensive menu to cater for all the family.
All the items on the menu are also available for takeaway.
Hope to see you soon!

Trudi P  (15 September 2002)

Had 4 evening meals out of our 2 weeks in Zante at Yiasou Yianni. Each meal was lovely. I loved the chilly cheese sauce with the cheesy garlic bread and fried corgettes as a starter and then gyros for a main course, yum - washed down with mythos beer and plenty of wine. The waiters were very friendly. Well worth a visit.
