Thought this was a great restauarant. Food was absolutely delicious. They did have a few problems with staff this year but this never affected the quality of the meal. The owner of the restauarant is a great guy and is always very polite and helpful. Prices were brilliant too. For a great Chinese, I would not hesitate to recommend the Mandarin!

GREAT PLACE TO EAT HAD TO WAIT FOR FOOD WHICH GAVE ME CONFIDANCE THAT IT WAS FRESH NOT LIKE SOME OTHER PLACES. BE-WARE THE ROLLY POLLY GINGER MALE CAT IS A COMPLETE SOFTY (THERE IS NO WAY SOME OF THE FOOD ISN`T JUST RE-HEATED IN SOME OF THE OTHER RESTAURANTS)

went to mandarin on the night of our arrival. it was ok, but had to wait nearly 30 minutes before the menu arrived, so try telling the children to stop moaning and fidgeting whilst others were getting their fill. when the menu finally arrived, a pleasant scot waitress tried her very best to help. the mixed starters were good, just as good as at home, although we were all famished after the long trip from the uk. the sweet & sour chicken was… well just sweet and sour chicken, plenty of carrots with it though. the rest of the dishes, egg fried rice and chicken and spring onion and ginger was good. only problem, what do you do with those fortune cookies at the end, eat them and throw them a way, what a waste of time. but when finally the bill arrived, some 2 hours later, the meal was good value for under 45 euros. if you want a decent chinese meal and served food within 5 minutes, try courser in planos, great food, a snotty northern b***h serving you, and mega expensive, not a place to take the family. had to economise on the rice just to keep the bill below 60 euros! … and the same goes for their fortune cookies, what a waste of time!! been better off with a hot towel. …and where were the chopsticks!!

We ate here twice in our two weeks holiday and found the food and staff to be excellent.Try the Mandarin Imperial Beef or the Mandarin Garlic Chicken, really delicious.People say why go to Greece and eat Chinese food, well why not, for 12 nights we ate Greek food. If you eat here you will not be disappointed, the food here is terrific.I would definitely eat here again. Thanks to the staff for being helpful and friendly.

Slightly more expensive than other eateries, however well worth it due to superior quality of food.

It was the best chinese meal and the best price and friendly staff and atmosphere and would go back next time.

This chinese is that good we went twice. We met the english guy who is part owner back in 98 working in the chinese in Kalamki. The food was out of this world. Try the spring rolls, fried wantons - crispy peking duck - noodles & madarin sizzling garlic beef, steamed rice & sweet & sour chicken with pineapples this is what we had the first night all for just over £25.00 with drinks (TRY AND DO THAT IN A CHINESE AT HOME). Second time we left out the duck and we change the sweet & sour for a crispy chilli beef. If you fancy a change from all the norm try this place. Location is between the pharmacy and tsilivi travel or if you are at the junction where popeyes is follow the road straight ahead

Great Chinese food - more like Thai rather than trad Chinese but lovely and made with fresh ingredients. Great Duck.

Shaun P  (10 July 2001)

We ate here twice in two weeks, and had fabulous meals both times. They have an excelllent choice on the menu, and both the prices and service were good. This is probably one of the best Chinese meals I have ever had, and I am very choosy when it comes to food.Shaun and Helen.
