Zante Star Hotel

looking for email or contact address for Zante star if anyone can assist Thanks St

  Hello,

me and my boyfriend are looking to go to Zante Star in September for 10 days, the only prices I found were only 15/night for apartment? Which means for the two of us the booking would be only 150 for 10 nights with only 1 deposit.

Is this for real? I just can't believe we would find something so beautiful with such good reviews so cheap??

Please can anyone advise us?

A fantastic hotel with amazing staff! Two weeks of bliss! Everywhere was spotless and we were looked after so well. A 15 min walk from the centre and 10 mins from the beach. Great cocktails and good value large meals. The bar area has a great atmosphere with all staff and guests mixing and sharing the days stories and the best places to visit. There is a lot of return guests and new guests who are all welcomed. You will not find better in tsilivi.

Going to the Zante Star in July but have booked self catering. Can anyone tell me what the facilities are like in the apartment kitchens (whats included) for cooking and is there a large supermarket in the area? Thanks

In answer to Scott Taylor's query, Zante Star can be booked via Olympic Holidays. Depending on where you want to fly from, you may have to book flight and accomodation separately though as Olympic have cut their flights to Zante from some airports, (Newcastle for example). Most travel agents are able to book a flexi package for you so you will still have ATOL protection. Hope this helps. Happy hoildays

Just arrived back from a fantastic 2 week holiday at the Zante Star. Such a beautiful place. All staff very friendly, food lovely and very clean. My 17 month old daughter loved it, especially in the pool. The hotel is not far from the beach, shops and resturants.

I would definitely recommend taking a trip with Captin Spiros. We went on the afternoon trip to Keri Caves and Turtle Trek. We left at 1:30pm and arrived back about 6:30 - 7:00pm. Definitely worth it. Captin Spiros is such a lovely man and he lets all the women and kids drive the boat .

These apartments are great for kids. Assuming you are going during the school holidays there are certain to be other kids about. We went a couple of years ago and our daughter was then the same age as yours. Made friends on the first day!. Pool and bar area excellent. Apartments are the best we have ever stayed in. (For Greek standards!!)

Hi thinking of booking these apartments after reading all the great reviews, but can any one tell me what its like for children, are there usuaiiy many there? we have a 10 yr old that gets bored !!! and the thought of her not making any friends !! we usally go to hotels with kids clubs but cant get in there for the weeks we want to go, thanks

HI, WAS WONDERING IF ANYBODY COULD HELP ME? WE ARE THINKING OF BOOKING ZANTE STAR FOR NEXT SUMMER, COULD ANYONE TELL ME HOW FAR IT IS FROM THE BEACH AND ALL THE SHOPS, BARS, EATERIES ETC? WE HAVE BEEN TO TSILIVI SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE BUT ALWAYS STAYED IN THE MAVRIKOS APARTMENTS , WHERE ARE THEY IN RELATION TO THAT?

ALSO WHAT ARE THE SHOWERS LIKE IN THE ZANTE STAR? ARE THEY A CUBICLE OR SHOWER OVER THE BATH?

Just back from a week at the Zante Star - lovely clean hotel,  pool and sunbeds aplenty - hard working and pleasant staff - have to pay for air-con but everything else fab!    

Hi Donna last year it was 90 euros for 2 weeks plus 20 euros deposit refunded when you check out.We are also going in August . [19 th] 2 weeks.It will be our second year at zante star ,best hotel we've stayed in .

Well its been some 4 years since we first visited the Zante Star. We promised Yannis that we would be back - its taken a while, but finally its booked for 27th Aug. Can't wait to get there!

Yes there is a toaster at Zante Star - sounds like you will be there when we are. We arrive on 6th August - this will be our 7th year at Zante Star and 9th year to Tsilivi - we love it there. I am sure you will have a great time.

Sandra, The Trenta Nova Restaurant is brilliant, and close to the beach, but not so easy to find. Using the road to the right, head towards Tsilivi village.  In the village, turn right towards the beach.  The Trenta Nova is along this road a 5 minute walk. The food at the Zante Star is excellent, but does not serve into the evening. 

Sandra's bar is 5-10 minute walk.  Leave the Zante Star walking to the keft, at the first junction turn right.  As you walk along this road you will go past the fish restaurant on the right, slightly back from the road, which I would highly recommend, continue, and as you see the main road through Tsilivi, Sandra's bar is at he junction, a little to the left.  We have been to the Zante Star a few  times.  On the second visit (our honeymoon), Yannis at the Zante Star recognised us, and gave us a lovely room.  On our first visit, Sandra and Costas made a fuss of both of our children, naming our youngest 'Cheeky Boy', and when we visited the second time as we were walking towards Sandra's bar, Sandra and Costas came out, calling 'hello Cheeky Boy, welcome back'. They remembered us too.  All lovely people.  You will have a brilliant holiday
