Daisy Apartments - (Accommodation in Kalamaki)

Oh my god, Just looking at all the pictures of Daisy's has brought it all flooding back and I only got home yesterday. James and I had a fantastic holiday at the Daisy....the people were SO nice. Andrea always greeted you with a smile in the morning, she knew all our names and went out of her way to make us feel welcome.

It's a reasonably small, family run place which is great or couples and families. The pool was lovely, it was clean and just the right size. There was enough sunbeds for everyone, all ensuring just enough shade or enough sun depending on your preference.

Our apartment was nice, just the right size with a nice veranda. One thing though.....that bloody cockeral is so annoying at 3:30am when you're trying to sleep!!

They have a Greek night on Fridays which is lots of fun, they have dancers come in (one of which is Dennis and Peters sister), you have a nice meal and have a chance to dance about and act like a tit! Also they have fire dancing and plate smashing. It's a must.

The Daisy have a great rep called Cat Davies who is lots of fun, and very helpful. She is always bubbly and has a big smile. We didn't need to ask her much but if we did need to know something she answered staright away or can call someone who can. She also came with us to the airport and stayed with us most of the time which was great.

If anyone out there is staying at the Daisy soon - you're so lucky. I would love to go back. I miss it already!

p.s don't go to the Daisy if your on a diet!! Cheesy Chips and French Toast to die for....not forgetting all that Mythos.........

Jamunja - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

We didn't really enjoy the Jamuna.....

It took us nearly two hours to get served and when the food came it really wasn't all that nice. The Chicken and Corn soup is good along with the Spring Rolls but the Sweet and Sour chicken was neither sweet nor sour - it just wasn't good and gave me a bad tummy . My partner did not enjoy the Chicken in Black Bean Sauce either. Perhaps we just made the wrong choices and should have had a curry.....

The staff were friendly and welcoming though.

One of the best resturants in Kalamaki.

Great service, good prices, lovely setting, and even though its on the main road it's not at all noisy.

The Chicken Al Fredo is lovely!

Me and my boyfriend loved it here.

Bryony the waitress was great, really friendly and helpful. Rhea was lovely too....always smiling, even when she had to put up with my boyfriends stupid drunken comments!

Great cocktails....is a bit pricy, but still good!

I will wear my Sophia's t-shirt with pride
