Dias - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Stella P

We loved this place! We were only in Kalamaki for 1 week and after trying some of the recommended places, we chose to go to our favourite place for our last night- Dias. The staff are friendly and the service is excellent. Try the Prawns Zakynthos!!

Escape - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

The food was ok, but there were only 2 other tables, yet we couldn't get the waiters attention as they were too busy talking amongst themselves, while another was having a good dig around in his nose- nice!

Kalamaki Beach Taverna - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Stella P

We came here twice. The food was nice, but we found the staff to be a little hostile, and others we met said the same. We also had to wait about half an hour for the bill. However, great location and a definite place to dine in the day!

Paolo - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

This place was recommended to us on our first day by an 8 year old boy. We had a lovely evening. The staff were friendly and the food delicious. We also received shots with our bill.

Michaelos - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Everyone recommended this place to us! It was our cheapest meal and really nice. My sister had the moussaka and the portion was huge! The staff are really friendly and take their time chatting with each table. If you like garlic, try the tsatziki!!

Sugar Reef - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

The service was good but the food was not so good. We came in the day when it wasn't busy, but our aubergines were overcooked and very dry. We also had garlic mushrooms which were cheap tinned mushrroms with minute specks of garlic.

Cave Bar - (Bars in Kalamaki)

After reading the comments before my holiday, I felt the place was overrated. The setting is lovely and the barmen are nice guys, but it's not the end of the world if you don't have time to visit this place.

Down Under - (Bars in Kalamaki)

the drinks were great, but the dj was an a**ehole!!

Oasis Bar - (Bars in Kalamaki)

Stella

We came here about 3 times in the week we were there. The cocktails are lovely, the music varied and the mood chilled. I just loved the atmosphere with the one guy serving and the other making the drinks. And they were Greek, rather than all the English bars in the area

Plus Soda - (Bars in Kalamaki)

Stella   (19 September 2004)

If you want a drink, then this isn't the place to go. After sitting for 10 minutes, the waitress still hadn't served us, so I walked up to the bar to be served and was ignored, so went to another bar- charming!!

Marelen Hotel - (Accommodation in Kalamaki)

Stella

Just got back from hols last Wednesday. I read this page before I went and was really looking forward to it, as we got a cheap package deal and got a top hotel. This hotel was brilliant. Our cleaner was lovely, the reception staff were nice and the room was huge. Room 513. There were just 2 of us and we had a double bed, bunk beds and sofa to choose from in the 2 bedrooms. The shower was hypnotising- I think I spent most of my holiday there, it was so powerful!!! We also had a double balcony which took up the whole side of our block, so we had some privacy. You can hear the planes in the morning but it's not disturbing. Would definitely recommend this hotel, and it's also close to the beach!!
