JUST GOT BACK FROM ARGASSI AND WHILST WE WERE THERE WE VISITED THE WATER PARK (2/10/06) WE DIDNT HAVE TO QUEUE  FOR ANY SLIDE, OUR YOUNGEST WAS NOT SURE ABOUT SWIMMING POOLS BUT AFTER 10 MINS HE WAS IN AND OUT OF THE KIDS POOL AREA AND CRIED WHEN WE HAD TO LEAVE.

EXCELLENT DAY OUT AND FOR  44 EUROS FOR 2 ADULTS AND 2 CHILDREN UNDER 4 FROM ALEXANDER BOOKING OFFICE IN ARGASSI WELL WORTH IT

Was in zante in Aug, and had the best time. there is not much to do during the day so decided to go to the water park. it is a fab day out and well worth the money. cost us 22 Euro each and thats including transfers! i would recomend the park to anyone. i went with my boyfriend (19)and  we both had a great day, its fun for all ages!! xx

Brain &

click to enlarge click to enlarge Plenty of rides to go on - lazy river great for those who hate the large slides. Washbowl had the kids going over & over again. Day was not long enough. Was a bit crowded, try change-over days, Thursday or Sunday. Snack bar was well run & very efficient.

Wayne B

we had the time of our lives here with all the slides now in working order, the food was not great but  good enough for the tourists, it was 80cents for a small bottle of water, but for 6 euros, you could have chicken nuggets with fries and that was enough for anyone, the new slide that opened last week was brill as we were the first to try it out, great fun for the whole family, if you go twice in 1 week you get a 20% discount which is enough for a meal there, the lazy river was so relaxing we were nearly asleep when we got off it, he he he , there is also a childrens play area with small slides and water jets for them to play in, will post photos on this page soon, have a good hol to all. great day out,it is in a place called, sarakinado, 13 euros from laganas beach, the bus leaves at 10.15 daily and there is only one bus so dont miss it, and that is only 2 euros,

Tracy C

We were a bit disappointed as was a bit small. Not many slides so kids got bored after a couple of hours. If you go take your own food as very expensive

Ian W

great family day out. the park has about ten slides and evidence of two more under construction - We came from alykes with Dionois tours and it cost 22 euore for adults and 11 for kids (park entery is normally 17 and 11 so I think this is good value) only complaint wa the lenght of the transfer - only 8 kms but it took 75mins, due to us going around each and every village.

Cost of taxi from Alyes is 14 euro each way and the park offers reduced price ommison after 2.30pm at about 12 and 7 euor - so a great thing to do  if you have a hire car to  the end of your day.

food at the park is fast food and is servied quickly but the quality is not great - cost 12 euro for two burgers, ahot dog and one portion of chips - recommend you take you own snacks !!!!

Queues for the rides were genrally ok longest is about 20 mins but did sometimes have to queue for tyre prior to joining the slide queue.

Jennifer G

click to enlargeclick to enlargeclick to enlarge excellant we went twice it was that good food prices were ok

Lisa A

The water park is Ok, Sunday is the best day to visit as it is a big resort change over day so l;ots of people leaving Sundays, There were no queue's the day we went. There are a few slides, a lazy river and a few rides to use rings on. Plenty of free loungers though. I would not go for the whole day again but would just go for half a day. That was plenty.

Melanie P

got a taxi from aragssi there cos it was a last minute decision to go, cost 12 euro each way.17 euro for an adult to get in, arrived about 11 had done the whole water park by 11.30 and out of there by 1.not much there really, ok for kids though.

M K

We arrived at the park at 2.05pm the discounted rate applies from 2.30pm so we waited 20mins then the staff let us in for the lower rate. 2adults and 1 child would be 44 euro(17 x 2 + 10), we were charged 31, so that was ok.  The park is a bit small with only 7 slides plus lazy river, one swimming pool and one kids slide, octopus style.  We found that the half day was long enough, the park closes at 6pm.  Fun for an afternoon, but remember your sun cream.  I forgot mine and suffered later that night.......

Ben F

Helen L

The best one would be Tsilivi, the one in Lagana is really small and only has one slide which is not that good. You will enjoy it at Tsilivi Water Village its great fun.

Sarah L

which water park is the best one to visit- Tsilivi or Laganas?

Dave T

WOW, WE ALL HAD A GREAT DAY HERE FROM 4 YEAR OLD RIGHT UP TO 55 YEARS OLD, IT WAS 17 EURO PER ADULD BUT CHEAPER IF YOU WERE IN A LARGE GROUP ( 15 ) OF US SO ONLY PAID 15 EURO EACH AND 8 EURO FOR THE CHILDREN UNDER 5'S WENT FREE, THE SLIDES WERE GREAT FUN AND THE LAZY RIVER JUST COOL FOR CHILLING OUT, HAVE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES AND WHEN ON HOLIDAY MAKE SURE YOU GIVE IT A GO. EVEN IF YOU DONT WANT TO GO ON THE SLIDES IT HAS GOT SUN DEBS BOUNCY CASTLE AND TRAMPOLINING FOR THE YOUNG 1'S PLUS A MINI AREA FOR THE KIDS OR NONE SWIMMERS.P.S WE WENT AT START OF JULY AND DID NOT QUE UP FOR MORE THEN A MINUTE

Mel S

we went on a Saturday with some of our family, spent from 10am-about 3.30pm there and it was wonderful, we'd have stayed longer if it weren't for an unhappy 17 month old!  Lazy River was cool, the Black Hole was brilliant, shame i only had time to go on it once!  If we go back to Zante, would defo do the water park again.

Helen L

The water village is about 15-20 minutes from the centre of Tsilivi. The best day to go the water village is a Sunday this is because it is a big change over day, we went on a sunday and it was great no ques for the sildes it was brillient.

Sarah L

how far from the centre of tsivili is this water park?

Beth

Visited the park on 29th May, there was 15 of us aged between 1-32 and it catered for everyone. It cost 20 euro's for adults, 10 for children and under 4's free, this included bus from tsilivi. Well worth it.

Hi Me and my family have just got back from zante and we visited the water park! it fantastic and well worth the money, the slides are ace but you just have to watch out for the yellow/green one because wen u lie down going down it, it scratches your back. The lazy river is really realaxing!! here are a few pics we took.... !!!!

Johanne D

We went by bus to the water park in August last year with another family we had met - we had a great day - kids ages 11, 12, 13 and 15 loved it. The place is small enough that they were able to go off by themselves, but the slides and stuff were enough for them (and 1 mum and 1 dad) to really enjoy. Yes, the food was expensive, but you expect that at these places.  The 'lazy river' was great for the tan!

Michelle M

it was ok but what can u expect on such a small island wud advise people to make there own way as when u go by bus it takes ages n if u get bored like me u can go when u like x

Julian P

Julian P

Not sure what to expect with Zante not being a huge island, but not bad. Just about enough going on the fill the day and some of the slides are pretty wick ! Food prices are about what you expect. We booked the bus from Dionisysm travel (as always, cheaper then with the rep) which full.

Zoe H

good day but get a taxi .cheaper than rep  and it started to rain so we were stuck there oct 05

Julie I

Caroline E

Can someone email me the adress and phone details of this waterpark. I lost a very valuable watch and am trying to claim on my insurance and they need a statement from the waterpark as proof.

Joe N

if you fancy the water park get a bus and pay at the entrance cheaper than booking with the rep, also take your own food and drinks it is very expensive inside,as water parks go it is ok

We went here a couple of days before we went home on the 28th August!!! We went with Smile tours in Kalamaki and it coast 20 euros each including transport!!! We had kids ranging from 16 down to 10 and they absolutley loved it!!! Also 2 40 something Dads who absolutley loved it as well!!!! There were lots of people there but didn't have to queue for long at all!!! Never saw the kids for the entire time we were there!!! Sat under an olive tree and chilled....it was brill!!! Food and drink very expensive I thought!!! Smuggled our own food in....which is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN!!! (Their notice...not mine!!) 1 Litre of water was 1 euro 80.....6 bottles in the supermarket...1 euro 50!! Nuff said!!! All in all a brill day, great way to end our holidays!!!!

Rachel J

The water park is great the all the slides are good and you dont have to que up long to get on them theres lots of sunbeds and a resturant and bar its a great day out and the photos are only 1 euro but dont book an excursion to the water park get the bus to it and pay when you get there its alot cheaper

Lorraine M

Loved it!  I'm 29, My partner 36 and it was fabby.  We were like a pair of big kids.  Loved all the rides.  Not sure about the comment about the young kids not being able to do anything?  They had their own seperate shallow pool, small chutes etc.  We had a great day.  Nice food too and all very reasonable.

James L

Beware!! extemely slippery, my wife slipped over so many times i lost count. Very good for adults and older kids 10 and over. Not very good for our children who are 3 and 5 not for them to do.

I can imagine a family with older kis having a fantastic time, so i would recommend it, but only if you have older kids.

Hayley P

am flyin to zante on the 28th of august if any1 cud tell if they av been around this time last yr or is goin agen... if the weather will be hot or coldd rainy am hopein it will b a goood holiday if any1 can answer me .... email me at nuttietart345@hotmail.com x thnks x

Jamie W

Good fun, good weather, good laugh.  Nuff said

Mark F

WENT ON EVERY RIDE INCLUDING THE BABY ONES! HAD A GOOD LAUGH ON BLACK HOLE.

Rachel G

This is a tricky one, the food was good and the few slides they had were good. BUT dont go here in the summer when me adn my boyfriend went it was 47oC and there isnt much shade here, we spent half our day sitting in the bit of shade we found. If you do go there don't go by couch cos being left there for 6 hours isn't much fun cos there isn't enough to do.

Lisa C

We got to the waterpark at 3.30 for a half day pass.

At around 4 the big tour partys leave which means you can easily find a sunbed and access the rides easily, instead of all the queuing.

Food and drink is expensive so take your own.

Leigh

i went to the water park last week and really enjoyed it especially the lazy river which was sooo relaxing, the price to enter wasnt too expensive it cost around 17euros to enter and we were there till about 5.30. from kalamaki it cost 1.50euros on the bus and about 12euros to get back in taxi, cos we missed the bus which is very reasonable considering its quite far away.

Jenna E

Had a fantastic time here well worth the money!!

June M

After a few attempts at locating the waterpark which is only about 10 mins from zakynthos town we had a really pleasant day there. It cost 54 euro for two adults and two kids. When we went  would say it was not even a quarter full so there was no que for any of the slides. They have a lazy river which was very relaxing. The kids loved all the slides. I didnt think the snack bar was expensive. My kids had chicken nuggets chips and a bit of salad with a drink for 5 euro which is only about £3.80 and it was proper chicken in the nuggets. I had a baked potato which wasnt that nice. I think 2 euro for a bottle of pop but if you are watching the pennies just make to with a large bottle of water.

Had a lovely day so would recommend although I wouldnt fancy going in peak season I like it nice and quietish. Enjoy.

Michelle B

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon here, 1st week in June. We arrived at 2.30, it cost 10 euros for adults and 6 for children, our 4 yr old got in free. Slides for adults/ teenagers were quite high and no queues. Nice childrens area with small slides, water fountains, and slightly bigger slides for older ones, all enjoyed by our 4 and 7 yr olds. They loved the lazy river too, and we all had fun in the big pool with jacuzzi. Officially they close at 5 but we weren't rushed or asked to leave at all, finally made our way out at about 5.30. Most of those on organised trips left at 4. Very clean, no problems at all. We enjoyed it so much we came back again for another afternoon two days later!

Located in Sarakinado, about 10-15 mins drive East of Zante town. We had a car so can't comment on taxi fares. Food/bar prices didn't seem that overinflated, only had ice creams though.

Emma L

goin 2 zante in sept where is the water park how far from argassi is there 2 or jus 1 bit confussed by comments if is 2 which is best how many slides is there write back ema.l.

Emma

its best 2 go 2 the water village through ur holiday company its soo much cheaper if u go by taxi from laganas ur gonna b payin through ur nose

Marie T

i am going to zante in a few weeks with my 5 year old and my 2 year old. Does anyone know if the watter village would be any good for them or are they too young.

Sam D

Where is the water village entertainment park

Shelley

We didnt like it!! The water park wasnt value for money. There was 10 slides and 6 of them were practically the same. Even though u were only there for 4 hours it felt like an eternity and you couldnt go and sit in the sanck bar for to long unless u wanted to be bankrupt as the prices were crazy. I wouldnt recomend this trip as there are more things in zante well worth spending your money on.

Finbarr

Visit after 2.30pm to get reduced price entry. But the prices in the snack bar were crazy. 24 euro for five soft drinks and five bags of crisps. Bring your own food and drink.

Shane

It was cool!!!!I went on all the slides. The black hole was excellent, at the end of the slide they take a photo of you, it takes one hour to develop and it only costs 3euros for the photo.Well worth the money!!!!The hydro tube was excellent VERY FAST AND FUN!!!!The Lazy river was alright if you are one of those people who don't like going on slides alot. The water park is good for all ages from children to pensioners.I recommend you go with a tour operator for better value for money.Theres a jacuzzi,Children slides,8 slides and lots more.I'd definately go there again.

Hewdorisernyfranbob D

helooo
we loved tha water park it ws amazin lota fit ppl 2! the slides wer wkd but the facky was reely overpriced the lazy river was tha best we spent al day in ther def go agen !!

Emma

Why can't people see that Zante Water Village is such a great place. Also, you should consider how lucky you are that it is there now. When I first came to the island, there was nothing of the sort, and now they have actually built something that is worth going on a trip for. If you go via a tour operator, you will get much better value for your money because your transfer from the hotel to the Water Village and back is included in the price. We went with Manos and we got such a great deal for three of us. You can't expect to get a cheap ride in a taxi from the south of the island to the north of the island.

Anyway, the Zante Water Village is a great place to visit while in Zante. Especially if you have small children. While in the park, the one ride you must go on is the BLACK HOLE. Once you.ve gone down on it once, you'll just keep going back. It's GREAT!!!!!! We'd go back anyday.

Dianne F

This was a total waste of time. It cost 17 Euros each to get in. Our first impression was not good - the water looked cloudy and lots of debris in the bottom of the pools. The only place to eat was a fast food bar - very expensive and food was very poor quality. Whilst we were sitting by the main pool a Greek family were swimming with their two younger children, when the little boy started to be sick in the pool, his mother took him to the side and let him continue to be sick in the drainage area at the edge!! Not appealing at all! His father got a bottle of water and washed the mess back into the POOL!!! This was enough for us WE LEFT! We had only been there a couple of hours!!
I think tour operators need to assess this attraction very carefully as it is not worth going to at all. After all if they allow people to be sick in the water what else do they turn a blind eye too!!!!!

Denise W

Is this the new water park that opened this year?
Is there not one in Laganas?

Jim M

I THINK ITS OVERATED AND VERY EXPENCIVE AT 16EUROS A PERSON. NOT TO MENTION VERY FAR AWAY. PAID 20 EUROS FOR A TAXI FROM LAGANAS JUST TO GET THERE. ALSO EXPENCIVE SNACK BAR. IF YOU GO BRING SOME WATER. PAID 4 EURO FOR A SMALL WATER.

Suzanne P

Visit after 2.30pm and then a family of 4 pay only 32EUR. In fact 3 hours is all you need here to do everything. Our children loved the park, especially when we realised the "rules" were actually only suggestions and our 10-year old son could use most of the slides. Plenty of sunbeds in both shade and sun and good clean toilets. Lifeguards very attentive and observant. Yes, the park is small but so is Zante!! Go with an open mind and you will have a great time.

Rachel M

We booked this excursion through our rep, and although I had a hangover, i really enjoyed it, we are a young couple, and i think if you had kids this would be a great day out, there are loads and loads of sunbeds to lie about on for the parents, and loads of water slides for the kids and 'big' kids to play on. There are about 8 or 9 water slides, but the queues for them are very long but only for the slides that you need inflatable for, the other slided there was only a 5 minute wait in peak time, maybe thats why it had had bad reviews on here. There is a couple of snack bars for eats and drinks but no main pool to swim in.....but then again it is a water park not a swimming pool. If you want to swim and chill stay by the pool in your hotel. If you want a laugh and a giggle go here!! Queues for snack bars were long too. Plenty of shade, and Ipersonally would give it 8/10.

Joanne E

Don't take everyones comments - try it for yourself. We went after 2.30pm so it was 32 euros for 4 of us. The children (age 7 and 10) went on every slide countless times, never turned away by the lifeguards. In fact lifeguards very on the ball as I saw one dive in to get a child who came down the slide backwards. Could do with some landscaping but then so could a lot of greek places. All in all a good days entertainment.

Chris & Carol

DON'T BE PUT OFF BY PEOPLE'S COMMENTS!!! - try it out for yourselves. We had read the write-ups about the water park before we visited Zante and were not impressed by the comments. However we decided to visit and the 71 EUROS to get in was to prove a hell of a lot cheaper than the water-sports we had priced up - (40 EUROS TO PARA-GLIDE AND 10 EUROS FOR A BANANA BOAT RIDE!!) Our children are aged 8,11 & 14 and we can honestly say that we had a brilliant day out! There were plenty of sunbeds and rubber rings. The souvenier photos were only 3 EUROS each - not a rip-off by any means. Lunch again was not over-priced - normally once you are in these types of parks they hammer you on prices - but this was not the case at all! The kids must have been on the choice of 6 slides at least 50 times each (I'm not joking!!!) Having been in a water-park in Funegirola, Spain last year where we queued for an average of 20 minutes for most big slides, this park was miles better. Think about it - what would the kids prefer?? - queuing not stop or hours of fun. Again, referring to some of the comments about the staff in the park - they seemed VERY friendly to us. We had passed the water park on several occasions and therefore had no trouble in finding it. You all know what the Greeks are like when it comes to sign-posting - we couldn't find the main airport on the day we were to leave!!

Malcolm

I must say that this was our worst experience ever!! on the island.
I took my family there for the day and a family friend it cost us together €71 in total i asked if there would be any problems with my children going on the slides and was told no problem, we then went up to the family tower and were then told they could not go on it in fact they made quite a scene about it , what was i supposed to do my children are 4 years old and are big for their age there were other kids smaller than them in front of us and they had no probs ( maybe because they are greek!!) LET MY KIDS WATCH EVERYONE ELSE HAVING A GREAT TIME??? we then go to reception to get a refund we were in the park no more than 15 minutes and were told NO REFUNDS AND IF WE DIDN'T LIKE IT TOUGH AND THEY WOULD CALL THE POLICE!!! we left our name and where we were staying and they said they would sort it out BUT HEY NO SORTING WAS DONE !!! NO REFUNDS ARROGANT NASTY STAFF and TWO BROKEN HEARTED LITTLE BOYS WHO ONLY WANTED TO HAVE A FUN DAY OUT WITH MUM AND DAD. GIVE THIS PLACE A MISS WE WERE RIPPED OFF BIG STYLE PERHAPS THE MANAGEMENT WOULD LIKE TO COMMENT AND OF COURSE REFUND OUR MONEY WE WONT HOLD OUR BREATH FOR THAT THOUGH.!!!!!!!!!!!
BAD NEWS.....BAD NEWS.....BAD NEWS.....BAD NEWS.....BAD NEWS.........

Sandra P

We went in a hire car, and the signposts were non existant. Took us quite a while and a few wrong turns to get there. To be honest I was pleasantly surprised with the water park. Not that many slides, don't understand the building site comments, we found it to be not bad value for money. The facilities were spotlessly clean, the food was ok and reasonably priced. The lifeguards were on the ball. Overall a good day out for 17euro each (10 if you go after 2.30pm).

Charlotte K

it was crap and a waste of a day. We spent 25euros to get there. it was about 15min from laganas by coach and we spent 4 hours there. There is only 6 slides. only 3 worth going on, and a lazy river. Thats it. We were bored. I wasn't expecting the american standard but more than that. Not worth a visit unless your totally bored in zante (although i dont know how u could be)

Stephen V

For the biggest water park on the island of Zante, the signposting to find the place is absolutely non-existent! We spent a frustating hour or more in a hire car driving round looking for the place, and were about to give up when one of my travelling companions notice the slides on the horizon!

Facilities are basic, but overall it was better than I expected, and decent value for the 10 euro entrance fee. The cheaper tickets are only available from 2pm I seem to recall, although that was in May 2004.

Lucy P

Quite enjoyed day out here, very expensive entrance fee for a fairly small park but was a good day, there from 10-4 just long enough, slides were fun and no queues which was great, could do with addin a few more slides but saw the other water park and that was even worse even tho its only 6 euros entry! Best waterpark still remains with corfu's sorry zante!

Matt

The water Village is just outside of Zante town in a place called Sarakinado. From Kalamaki it will cost aprox 15 euros. I think it's worth the day out, there is enough to keep everyone entertained for most of the day. If you book with your reps they run coaches there and back on certain days its usually not too busy and it works out cheaper than paying taxis and then about 17 euros entrance fee too.

Jo E

Visited the Water Parklast year, does anyone know if it has extra slides added since then?

Mich S

where is the water park situated is it in tsivili

Tracey H

WE WILL BE STAYING IN KALAMAKI IS IT FAR FROM THE WATER PARK

Rachel S

Thought the Water Park was a complete load of rubbish - total waste of money. Went on a few of the water slides - be careful, if you lean right back on them the joins in the slide scratch your back!!!!! Our rep showed us a brochure of the water park before we booked - when we got back and told our rep with thought it was rubbish she told us the promotion pictures on the brochure aren't even of the same water park!!!!! All we did was sit by the pool when I would rather have been at the fantastic beach at Tsilivi!!!!!

Kev D

went to the water park and thought it was great.both teenage kids and my little girl both enjoyed it.slides were good as was the small kids pool area.clean and tidy and food and drink not to bad for price.could do with matts on the sunbeds.all in all a good day out.

Sadie H

we were quite excited about the water park. we [paid 25 euros for the trip and it was definately not worth it. the slides they had there were good but there was only about 6 slides. which is a lot of money. (the stair blocks leading the the slides looked quite unsafe. i think that if they added ,ore slides then it might be a lot better. basically we paid 25 euros to use their pool!!!!

Tammi M

Went to the waterpark on the second day it opened. It is a timebomb waiting to go off. My daughter fell over twice and she was not running. iT IS DANGEROUS and it does not look finished. It is a rip off and they dont tell you children under 12 cant go on any decent slides.

Mr T

Went on the first day it opened and was just happy to be able to go to a waterpark to be honest !
The park wasn't ready yet at all, if your looking for a lawsuit, just visit this place and take your pick for what you want to "damage" yourself on !!
I'd recommend not bothering going with any of the travel places and just booking a taxi there in the evening. It's only 10 euro to get in then.
Not that many slides, about 6 in total. Some of them were awful, one goes so slow the only way your gunna die on it is from old age !
Couple of very good ones, but generally nothing compared to the one in Crete.

Ken

Opening delayed a week due to thunder storms washing turf into pool areas, due to open 10th Aug, should be worth a visit, was informed that additional facilities will be added by Summer 2004.

Admin

Opening date has been set as 1st August. Should be well worth a visit

Aimee

im going to zante on august 15th with my family if anyone has been to the water village enterainment park please post info on weather or not its worth the car ride? thanks
