Hi everyone have just found out about the toad closing,absolutley gutted but we aredue to arrive in zante on sunday 10th may, if there are any other toady regulars there at this time and would like to meet up for a drink somewhere e mail  ianblackburn@talktalk.net.

I`d like to thank everyone who came in the bar while we were open and I`ve made many friends in the time I worked there. Now that the bar has closed as Jill and Terry have gone back to England, I will now be working at Danny`s Bar in Alykanas from the end of May and I would very pleased to see you all again. You`ll find me in the snack bar from 11am until 2pm. Look forward to seeing you this summer. 

 Hello Terry, Had a agreat time as usual. You really must visit this bar. Terry is a great host and such a laugh. Sorry we missed Jill again.....hope her backs better..... see you in May.. Love Pete and Diane( oxford).....make sure they don't put the biscuits up any more.

We had such a great time at the Tipsy Toad, we were in there most nights doing the quizzes and went there some times in the day to watch the films.

We would very much like if you read this Terry say a big hello to Stelios for us, and please will you say since coming home we have been in bed hours before 4.30am, only joking we had a brilliant holiday with you all.

Since returning to England we have been really cold, after all that beautiful sunshine.

Christmas comes but once a year, but in the Tipsy Toad it's once a fortnight, you really will not believe it, honestly everyones great, you really must call in well worth a visit, just brilliant.

Back in England now, and back at work just to say what an absolutely great Two weeks we had, lovely to see you again and thanks for the films, we have watched two already with all the rain here.

Everyone should call into the Tipsy Toad and see for themselves great night out Terry is great and everyone who works there really do go out of there way to make sure everyone has a great time.

Hopefully will see you all again next year.

By the way Rob says Merry Christmas for Saturday and I say have a great new year, it's true if you go into Tipsy Toad you can celebrate christmas once a fortnight.

Great bar - particularly for sport!  Xmas was a hoot - also enjoyed sundowners here.  Well worth the stroll up the road.  Thanks Terry, Linda and our special elf - Gwen!

This comment may seem a little late as we were in zante in may,however the toad is without doubt the best bar in alykanas.

we met some great people, the metaxa couple, and pete and diane from oxford also nigel and marina from bristol, all made our stay memorable.

Probably the most surreal night of our holiday, doing a christmas quiz in 40+° of heat in June !  I think they do them once a fortnight, very odd but great fun, won a bottle of wine.  Quizmaster and staff deserve medals for dressing up in furry santa suit and elf costumes in those temperatures!

   Hi there Terry, thanks for all your whit and humour. Christmas Eve was excellent and we both had a great time. Linda is always on hand in the day with a cool beer and great conversation. We will be back in September with a bit of luck and we hope you're all still there.

well another mad two weeks at toadies. Terry was his usual mad cap. Jill its a shame he let the apartment get in such a state....ha-ha. We had a great time especially the last quiz night with Caroline and Julie.....We actually won a few days later girls.....Wilf was on top form that night. Cant wait to come back again in Sept....Sorry to have missed you again Jill....Poor old Terry can hardly cope without ya! See you soon, Pete and Di /oxford. 

This time last night I was in the Tipsy Toad !! But now I am on my cooch with everything away as if I'd never even been to Zante for the last week !! We were sad to leave the good Friends we made at the Tipsy Toad. Terry was very welcoming when we rocked up on our 1st day for a Mythos, spent every night in the place after that. I agree with a previous posting that Wilf is the greatest Quiz Master - not to mention his advertisements for Wash and Dry before you Fly !!!!!! Thanks to Pete and Di for all you hindrance whilst competing with the Big Boys ! He He Met some lovely people and will definitely return but we will try and make sure our trip includes a Tipsy Toad Christmas!!! Hope Chelsea win on Wednesday. Back from hols a few weeks now and finally found site Terry and Jill were referring to.

Hello Tipsy Toad. How are the sales of biscuits going? Thanks for a great time. If you want a real laugh go to the toad. Terry and Jill are great. Wilf is the best quizmaster in Zante, and the prizes are to die for. If you ask terry he will sell you biscuits with his beer @ 25euros......cheap at half the price. Sorry to have missed you Jill. See you next year.

Hi Jill and Terry, thank you both for turning a good holiday into a great holiday. We had a wonderful time in your company and are looking forward to the return visit. Terry, I am still looking around Dublin for that penguin I promised you. We hope the quizes are going strong. I am studying for my Masters in Quizology at the local university. Just back from a great hol in Alikanas,many thanks to Terry & Jill for a great christmas party,and for making us feel very welcome. Sorry we were not able to say goodbye but we will be back soon
