      Hi Katerina and all your family thanks once again for a great holiday and looking after us so well (as usual). Once again can't stress enough what a lovely family you all are and can't wait to come back and see you all again. We would recommend staying at these apartments to anyone thinking of going to stay in Alakanas! |

 After reading various comments we feel we have to comment, after staying for the last 11 years at these apartments we know they are basic but everything works & they are cleaned every other day. If there is a problem, the nice family will gladly help you out. Son & daughter Yanni & Rula speak perfect english, as for the sheets & towels, which get changed every 4 to 5 days i'm sure this is more than some people do in their own homes! People must think they spend £400 on a holiday & expect to stay in a palace(you get what you pay for). As for the cooking facilities, give the wife/partner a break & buy them breakfast/lunch or dinner & people forget that the owners change the toilet paper bucket that we would'nt touch with a barge pole, also remember that they are greek why should they speak english & we should learn a littke bit of greek (after all it is their country).Thank you for reading this & yammas |

| We have just returned from our 4th annual visit to Katerinas and once again we had a brilliant holiday. Once again we were made most welcome by Katerina and her family and our room was spotless and cleaned every other day we also had clean towels and sheets on a regular basis.
This is a lovely friendly family and will go out of their way to accommodate peoples wishes if they are asked.
After reading some of the comments on this page I can only say were you really staying where you thought you were? If you want somebody to speak perfect English to you may we suggest Blackpool?! As they say when in Rome? did you take the time to learn any basic Greek?  As for the cooking facilities we manage to cook for up to 16 each year for our annual get together with no problem. Again if we needed anything extra all we needed to do was ask.
We have already booked for next year and will continue to do so and anticipate no problems with our room as always. |

Hi,
My wife and I have stayed with Katerina twice, and we are going again this year. The accommodation is basic, but comfortable and absolutely spotless (even during the last two weeks of the season!!!)
The family are very friendly, and will go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.
Danny's Bar opposite is a bit noisey, but does tend to wind down at about midnight.
