Despite my suitcase not turning up for the first three days, our first greek Holiday was superb, just wish we had come for more than aweek.
Hotel was excellent, staff were superb in every way, happy hours were happy and most importantly a great bunch of people to be sharing the pool and drinks and time with.
Touring the island in the jeep was fantastic, opened up so many off road sihgts and adventures lol!
Cant wait to book two weeks in 2009!
Till then, I can pretend I am still having a mythos on the balcony befor going out looking at my view!

Must have eaten here 3 or 4 times in our short week. Great food every time and not expensive. Exellent service, great atmosphere sitting outside as the sun dips. Will be our first meal out in 2009, Maria and the staff are tops!

My first time driving off road in a 4x4, had a eurohire jeep for 3 days. Made the holiday as it allowed us to go off road and get some great photos in some off the beaten track places.
Now looking for one to use back home lol

Its a long way down!! Definatley worth visiting, at least once. Not sure I would be that bothered if we did not go go back there in 2009 as there is little to do and once you have photos of the shipwreck you have photos.

June 4th is coming round really fast, thank God.
This is our second visit having enjoyed last year so much.
It is our 10th Wedding anniversary on June 5th so we want something special, maybe a greek night with traditional dancing etc.

10/10We stayed at dennys in 2008 and last year.
Without dought been the best and most relaxing holidays ever. Staff great, hotel food great, fellow guests were great, evening entertainment ok for familys, kalimaki great family /couples resort.
Booked Sidari Corfu this year for a change and already wishing we had booked Dennys again. Think I know where June 2011 holiday is going to be!

10/10Had a couple of meals here last year. without dought top quality food at the right prices. Its one of 3 on the must eat at list for us on our next trip to Kalamaki.
Just try the meatballs, best I have ever had!

10/10Hera is another one of the three restaurants on the "must eat at" list for 2011.
Really was a fantastic setting and food to match. Top class service, treated like we were the only customers even though the place was full. It really is a place to try.

10/10We only got to Milos on our 13th & last night! We were almost the first family (group of 6) in but the service was fantastic, so was the food. We even had free drinks and by the time we left felt like part of the family! Its the 3rd place we will definatly be eating when we return in 2011 together with Hera and Merlis. Cant say after these 3 i need to go anywhere else for food!

1/10We wenty here jast June, just me and the wife on our 10th anniversary. Left the inlaws babysitting on our "special" night.
The place was busy when we got there but we were sat down and told about 35 minutes wait for two steak meals. We wanted a special night due to the occasion and had picked Heaven's (Hells) Kitchen on the reviews here!
We ordered drinks, then food, steaks. The table next to us was occupied by two young girls, in their 20's. They were having pizza and when it arrived kicked up a fuss as it had been over an hour since they ordered. We asked again about the wait and were assured it would be about 10 mnutes.
Needless to say it was over an hour before we had food served. When it came, my "medium" steak was almost raw! I cut into it and blood spurted out which almost put the woman oppasite off her food!
I sent it back and was told i could have another one in about 20 minutes. I told them they could keep it and I was not paying for mine or my wifes meal. She eat hers but said it was not that nice. We paid for our drinks and left, never to return.
Sevice was rubbish, the same waiter would not come back to the tale twice because they knew we and many more were very unhappy. Food was average.
If i won / was given a free meal there i would not return again, far to many great resteraunts like Hera, Merlis to eat at.
Tip to Hells Kitchen. Be upfront with your guests. Dont say it will be half the time you know it will be before service, and when there is a genuine complaint, send someone other than young and inexperienced staff to deal with it.

7/10We did Greek night here last year. Food wise, it was ok, say 6/7 out of 10. Portion was abit small for me but quality good.
However, enterainment wise Greek night was fantastic. I have not danced so long in many years. Really was a good laugh, if knackering after what seemed like 45 minutes!
Would do a gree night here again though with out dought.

Amyone booked for 2011 yet?
Did not realy enjoy Cofu as an island to visit. No where to go 4x4 driving and a bit too British for me!
We are looking at Rhodes /Kos for 2011 but if notinh strikes me as must go see, its Dennys in for sure. looking at 1st week of june to tie in with anniversary.
