We found a picture of Dinos apartments in Olympic's current brochure when we booked it with the travel agents a couple of weeks ago.  We've booked there for September and although we haven't stopped at Dinos before we've been to Tsilivi 4 times and knew where they were.  

We travelled with Olympic for the first time in May (although we have been to Zante 6 times before) and didn't have any complaints.  Admittedly our flight was changed just after we booked it, to fly 5 hours later in the day, but at least we knew before the day of departure (approximately 2 weeks before).  The reason was probably for the same reason that most operators do this but don't tell you, that it's because they can't get a full flight and they combine 2 - easy to understand in low season. 

People want to lower their expectations in relation to what they pay and they might even enjoy a holiday - if not why bother!!!!

Just in case you haven't already left for your holiday, I think you should be ok!  From memory most places have ramps outside (fortunately it's not something we have needed so like most of us in that situation we haven't really taken too much notice) . You might have a problem with actually getting in to some of the shops though, as some of them are quite small inside and they always seem to have a lot of stock taking up the little space that is there!  The supermarkets are quite spacious.  Hope this helps.

Where are you staying in September - we're back again then but different apartments.

We go on the 10th September for 2 weeks, so you will arriving near the end of our holiday.  We couldn't get the Georgia apartments for that first week so we have booked into Dinos apartments.  We will need to visit Georgia though to say hello and also to have some more of their Greek Salad - I used to enjoy them when we were there in May.  Like you, we can't wait to go back!!!

We went to Tsilivi from 10th-24th September.  First week brilliant sunshine, second week little bit more cloudy.  Rain only happened for about half an hour on 2 days and about 10 minutes another. Rained at night, but let's face it, that's the best time for it!  Apart from that still hot - didn't need a jacket on the whole fortnight - normally need one most evenings in September!  Was able to sunbathe every day.

Oh and by the way we had a couple of earthquakes - one at 11-30pm on the first Saturday (missed that one - must have been drunk by then  )!!!  Felt the one on the Monday at 8pm though - but it only lasted a few seconds. 

Talking to some of the locals (English and Greek) seems the weather and earthquakes can be completely different from one resort to the other!

Having said all that, had a great holiday once again and would definitely go back.

Fourth time we have been to Tsilivi and had many meals at the Majestic.  Tried a few other restaurants there but always end up back at the Majestic.  The food is always good and we have never had a bad meal.  The moussaka is the best!

Just got back on Sunday and had a cocktail or two at Jokers most nights.  We're not late night owls, but went early evening before we went to a restaurant and had a lot of laughs with Charlotte.  Hi Charlotte - hope your ribs are getting better now that we've left - this piccy is just for you!!!!!!!!  Don't ever leave Jokers - they need you!!

We have never gone to a bar so often on holiday before - so keep up the good work Charlotte (and the rest of the staff) - the best bar in Tsilivi!  Hopefully see you again next year - we'll send you a warning in case you want to hide!!!

Hi, we haven't stopped at the Amarylis Apartments, but I know that they're not up a hill.  If you've been to Tsilivi before, they are opposite the Majestic restaurant.

Just got back yesterday from Tsilivi  and as usual, enjoyed every meal we had in the Majestic.  I can definitely recommend it - the variety of food is really good and the prices and portions excellent.  The mousaka is still the best! 

Can I just say thank you to everyone at the Majestic who made Tony's birthday celebration special - he enjoyed every minute of it.  Also thank you for all the drinks - we're just about drying out now!!   Thank you also for all the wonderful service and hope to see you all again next year.

We have always been to Zante in May and September (9 times now) and never experienced wasps.  We've only stayed in Laganas and Tsilivi (mainly Tsilivi), so not sure which resort has had the problem.  We're going again this September (3 weeks time - yipppeeeee!!), so if we see any changes in Tsilivi we'll let you know.

From memory, if you go past popeyes towards the beach, and take the 2nd turning right, Tsilivino is just around that corner.  We've been there once before a couple of years ago and what the others say is just how it is!!  We're going to Tsilivi again in a couple of weeks and want to try this place again so will let you know if I'm wrong on the directions!!!

Got back late on 5th October from Tsilivi and already some places were closing down.  Speaking to the locals they said that not much will be open at the end of October.  Spoke to someone on the same flight back that stayed in Argassi and they said a lot had already closed.  Other resorts might be different though.  Hope this helps.

went 21st september to 5th october and well what can i say - yet again best cocktails ever and best service too! thanks to charlotte and holly for putting up with the mad one yet again (tony that is - not me)!!!!!!!!!!  thanks also for my birthday celebrations - really made my night.  here's a few piccies as a reminder ........... see you next year (hopefully)!!!!!!! x
