I love this place so much it one of the one of the main reasons we return to Argassi.
The beach bar is great it has very nice comfortable loungers on grass with a lovely pool it has a free pool table a netball court & table tennis.
At the front there are table & chairs where you got the beautiful view of Argassi beach to Zante town and all the water sports is great to watch while you can relax having a lovely drink of your choice or an icecream or lolly which are lovely in the wonderful greek sun.
The food is great from breakfasts & lunches in the day and very good evening meals too, the main reason that this place works is the great man himself Lorenzo his work rate is nothing I have seen before and always has the time while he is serving behind the bar or bringing your food he always has time to have a laugh with you
I have 2 sons 18 & 12 and they love this place too so if you are staying in Argassi make sure you visit Dimitrios beach bar you wont regret it

3/10Before I start I love argassi and enjoyed my holiday but I was disapointed this year because of the admiral.
Sam has gone 16 August she was fed up with the management we saw her before she went. plus steph has gone home too
The place is full of polish people they even have polish night (why) this is greece I thought, but the polish are all inclusive and this is what the management want us all to do but this would destroy argassi if all hotels start doing this.
But the pool at night was discusting full of bottles & ashtrays and the staff were not happy and were very unhelpfull at times there was 2 lads were really helpful the bar man in the evenings and the English receptionist otherwise forget it
Thomas cook has withdrawn the contract from the admiral and I can see why I have stayed here for 4 years so I was upset to see this place go down hill like this we didnt stay by the pool went to the beech everyday after seeing the state of the pool on our first night .
as I said still had a great time as we love argassi and it is only a base but such a shame to see how this place has gone down. I have already booked for next year but we are not in the admiral

10/10Have to agree with message below I have never liked the Red Lion but with Ken & jude it had a different feeling about it
a great place for a laugh and to meet up with people even when it was crowded at the bar they both nod to you tell you they will be with asap while they are serving and they were.

What can I say that has not already been saidb , this place is great has it all great music being played has free table tennis net ball loungers and a free pool table.
The food is great and service is top class the bar is great and it is right by the beech.
Lorenzo is the bar man waiter manager and works non stop so all can have a great holiday and became a friend and will help from anyway he can so you can have a great holiday.
