Yassou. (Hello)

The ABV was absolutly brill. Im 16 years old and did not want to leave The people out there were amazing and they made u feel very welcome. For gorgeous food then the Apollo is the best place to go, We eat there 10 times over our stay and we didnt get sick of it. The food there is outstanding and Spyros and Andres treated us like family there. For people who have never been to the ABV before u will really enjoy Yannis. He is 1 of the people out there that rides the horse and carriage out there and u will hear him before u see him trust me. Please will you say Yassou to Jackie who works in Stonebridge for us all please she should know us for being the Welsh 8 who was either there or in the Apollo. & Yassou too Spyros.

Apollo - (Restaurants in Alykanas)

I strongly recommend the Apollo in Alykanas, the food is absolutely gorgeous we visited the Apollo 10 times on our stay in the ABV.The Mossaka and The Stuffed Chicken with Ham And Cheese was the 2 meals that i would take in turns with eating they were gorgeous. The staff at the Apollo are so helpful and became good friends of ours especially Spyros who we all loved. Opposite the Apollo is Stonebrigde which is a good place 2 eat and drink in and the lady who works there Jackie, is so lovely who also became good friends with us. I want to go back to the ABV just for the food in the Apollo and too see veryone again (especially the barman downstairs in the Apollo.lol.)

Cuba Bar - (Bars in Alykanas)

Im only 16 and just got back from 2 weeks in zante with my family we had never been there before but we fell in love with it the moment we got there. I think the best bar in alykanas has got 2 be the Cuba Bar there was great service there and just like every other place in Alykanas the people were lovely. I especially liked Nicos who was really nice even after we tried teaching him a bit ov welsh.he also bought the whole eight of my family a round of drinks aswell as me, which we greatly appreciated. Hoping to go back there on my own sometime to see everyone again. Also if anyone is a bow and black drinker we taught Nicos how 2 make it so he will make it for you to perfection.lol.

Levante - (Restaurants in Alykanas)

Im 16 and along with my family we all thought the Levantes restaurant was disgusting. The food was not very nice atall and the service was very poor. We had to wait nearly an hour for our food which none of us eat and went home hungrier than when we first arrived there. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Horse Riding - (Things To Do in Zante)

We all wanted a ride down to alykes from alykanas so we thought we thought we would have a ride with Yannis. We all knew that he was really funny and would be a great laugh as we heard him around the village at night entertaining the public. little did we know that we would be wind swept by the time we got off. He rode really fast and which was supposed 2 be a 30 min walk took us a 2min drive. Yannis's quote would be 'Ill Be Back Baby' or 'Asta La Viesta Baby' so when you visit listen out for that. Yannis's son is also very good but you cant really understand his english but that doesn't matter because he is very cute.lol.

hi ian, there are loads of pubs/clubs with sat tv, so don't worry you won't miss your a**enal games. i just come back from the abv 2 days ago and there was no escaping the football, where ever you went it would be on. so don't panic.we stayed in the alykanas beach hotel and you get a perfect view over the sea but thats only if your hotel is by the snack bar. i hope i answered your q's. & i hope you enjoy as much as i did in the abv.
