We as a family of 15 of us were not to happy as we read the comments before going. My son and brother in law went early on in the day to book a table for 15 they said no problem they could handle it and would give free wine that was on offer at the time. We roll up at the time booked table not even ready! Then waited ages between courses. And the size of the meals were not value formoney my brother in law had to buy a burger after his meal.The risoto was not cooked properly the rice was raw i know risoto is not meant to be soft but really !!!! The atitued of one waiter was awful. One waiter spilt wine over my sister in law .They canot handle large parties i wish they had said in the first place as this would have saved us time and money

Our local bar it was great and very welcoming ! we also had a breakfast there and it was very good many thanks to you for the welcome you gave us all THE GODDENS !!! We will be back

We as a family of 15 yes 15 went in may about the 24th and i myself have been twice now and love it my in laws go every year sometimes twice a year !!!! you may see my brother in laws comment down the list ? athena and crew are so welcoming . Its clean but basic What do you want ? You dont stay in all day do you? Yes some rooms are noisey but hey it adds to the holiday after a few drinks who cares ??? No all in all we love it so we are off again next year i hope if the money stretches !!!! all the best Athina love Val Godden and Ian (Alans brother ) x

   cant understand last comment we as a family have been going for years .we choose kalamaki for its rustic feel if you want all the white marbel ae nd super dooper night life try the costas in spain becouse thats where id love to see all these brits who want all non stop getting rat a**ed and un ruley behaivour!!! we love it as  takes you back to earth who wants all high tech tv !!

  Just got back yet again Cant count how many times weve  been !!!!

But Spiros has done it again !! His team are excellent and the food is just as good as always .Just wanted to say a big thank you to you all and see you again next year XX Take care love the Godden family !

Well What can i say  we feel as though we are part of the family

they have been going a lot longer than us .God we miss the place already !      weve only been back 5 days . so well done to the plubis family!  

 

 Well done Athina and Pete  Had a wonderful time yet again on the last week of the season 2nd time in one year we have been  and the family have been many times also. We have loved staying with the Athina as nothing is to much trouble for the staff and its central to the town but a bit of a stroll to the beach  but thats not a problem ! Walks off the breakfast . It can be a little noisey when you get the drunks coming in early hours of the morning  but thats just selfish people you get that any where the views are smashing and its nice to sit on the balcony with a glass or two ! The staff keep it spotless and the apartments are basic but hey who wants to spend there holiday in an apartment ?

So we hope to be back next year .

We go to Kalamaki twice a yera if we can get the pennys together and always start and sometimes finish our evenings in the Bar HIC !!! So hope to seeyou all again soon love Val and the rest of the Goddens !! XX

  Hey !!!! I agree with the last comment Spiros and his team would just not do that!!!! We as a family know him and his team quite well and have been there for many years mostly 3 times every time we are in Kalimaki  thats twice a year some of us as family are there. They are fab people and we love eating there .

  We the Godden family will be back again this year but a change of month we always go in May and Oct. This time we are there in Sept.

So get the table ready Spiros! we are back ! We are so looking forward to  the wonderful food and service. The staff are good friends of the family now we are part of the furniture.

 Well  we are back again this year and we the Godden family back at the bar  again we have been enjoying a drink or two at the Cronulla for years and have become friends with the family who own it we always feel very welcome so cant wait till we  are there again in september.

Well what can i say Yes the Goddens return yet again We as a family of 12  mums dad s grandparents uncles and aunts etc have been going about 24 times we love the people and the place it is still has a bit of greek charm and the night life is just right not too much if you want all that sort of thing then lagana is the place for that . We have noticed changes in kalamki but thank fully they are not ruining the place .

We always stay at the Athina apartments and find it great there as we know the owners well and they are lovely people . We go in may and oct but this year we are going in September .Food is fantastic and yes you can get english food but we prefer the greek food which is always very good if you want pie and chips then stay at home !!!!     The place as far as us Goddens are concernd is FANTASTIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOOK FORWARD TO SEPTEMBER YIPPPPEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!    IN FACT I CRY WHEN WE LEAVE

 Well what more can i say as ive said before we as a family have been about 20 times !!!!!! the Athina is fantastic and love it every time we go we go twice a year once in may and then oct this year we are going in sept. The weather is always spot on and warm enough for the pools etc The rooms are always spotless and have what you need for a snack .

 Well its us again the Godden family and we shall be staying with our dear friends the Plubis family

and we cant wait !!!!! It is such a lovely welcoming place  and peaceful  so look forward to seeing you in sept Demitris and Dennis and mama and papa ! Get the cocktails ready ?  I wont include a picture as i have already done last time !

  Hello david in answer to you going in Oct . We have been going in oct for years the weather has always been kind to us not over hot but nice to sit in and swim in the pool .

We go on the last weeks of the season which is nice but you will see some shops and eating places shutting  up its ok as there is plenty there . Hope this helps you and im sure you  will enjoy the place as much as we do.We are going  in sept for 2 weeks for a change .

Just got back today and the weather has been lovely and hot for the past two weeks .

Just got back today and went to this  smashing little place for the first time in five years we have been to kalamki . It was very nice and the food and staff and service was great so we shall be back .

 Its the 2nd time we have been and its always great surroundings food and service are super . we will be back . ps just got back today

Was inKalamaki from 18th may  and saw this place so went in its really good smashing pitta bread served warm and the food was great too so well worth a vist . Service was very good and with a smile very friendly we shall be back in sept so will pop in again .val and ian godden

We have been to zante loads of times well twice a year for a long time now . The airport will never put us off I just love to see peoples faces when they see it . It cracks me up

  Cant understand Marks comment  We have never ever had a bad meal here and have been coming here for many many years !! Maybe mark is better off in big boys and stick to pizza and chips then !  Coz Tesoro goes out of its way to please people and will do anything to put things right .

Thank you for making us welcome and the cocktails were fantastic Zagis  Yammas!! wish we could have stayed longer to try them all well maybe next year then and the liquer coffees were spot on too !  Well we went in sept for our 2nd vist and it was smashing  yes service was a little slow BUT HEY WHATS¬THE RUSH ! got a train to catch ?  lovely meal served hot  and plentyful and dessert to follow washed down with a bottle of red  i have been going to Kalamaki for years now and have no problems with heavens kitchen keep up the good work you must be doing something right coz most night we went past it was full
