Michaelos - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Norman A

What can we say? We went there on the first night of our 14 day stay in Kalamaki because we had heard about Michaelo's on the net. We were NOT disappointed. The first thing you notice is the excellent welcome. Dennis greeted us as if he'd known us for years (our first visit to Zante!). The menu was very extensive including many local dishes. The staff to a man (and boy!!) are extremely polite and helpful. We went to two other places to eat after the first night but neither came anywhere near in terms of quality, price, service or atmosphere. Well done Dennis and staff. If anything will encourage us to return to Kalamaki it will be the thought of meeting you again.

Louros Beach Hotel - (Accommodation in Kalamaki)

Norman A

The hotel itself is lovely. The gardens are extremely well maintained and very pretty. The staff are very friendly and helpful. BUT the hotel is on the flight path for the airport and if you don't mind being woken at 5.00am every day of your hard earned holiday by a VERY low flying aircraft then this hotel is definitely for you!

Merlis Car Hire - (Car Rental in Zante)

Norman A

Hard to find any fault. They delivered the car to the hotel when they said they would. The car was fine and the air-con. worked very well (absolutely vital on Zante in August). They were the most competitive on price and extremely "laid back" but in a positive way. NO grief, no hassle - not a lot more to say, frankly, but thanks !

The Olde Vineyard - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Norman A

The OLDE Vineyard was excellent. Thank you Amanda, George and especially Artemis for making us so welcome. The food was first class and the view idyllic. Very accessible from Bouka Beach which we thought was the best on the island. Artemis- we hope you managed to find Lazy after we left!?
