I spent last week in Laganas...a last minute booking. The Ionian was by far one of the best tavernas / restaurants that we visited. The waiters are rushed off their feet, true. If the place wasn't any good, why are all the tables full every night at 8:30pm!??

Had several meals here! Waiters very good. Food gorgeous! Try the Tzatziki...mmm!!! The pork souvlaki was excellent too! Thoroughly recommended!

The Pythari studios are excellent in all respects! Viv and Christos are the most helpful and friendly folk you could wish to meet. (If you are into chilling out with a good book, go and raid Viv's library in reception!) Nikos Cocktail Bar & 'To pythari' taverna are right next door. Missing you already!! See you again, definitely. Thoroughly recommended!!! BOOK IT NOW!!!!

Cold beers, strong cocktails!! Lad with ponytail still there and the English lass too!! Got a worldwide collection of flags from the number of cocktails drunk in a week!! FANTASTIC!! GO THERE!!!

We booked our holiday the day before we left the UK! First Choice & Air 2000...EXCELLENT!! We stayed in Laganas at the Pythari Studios. We couldn't have chosen a better last minute holiday!! Gemma our First Choice rep,was EXCELLENT!! (How many times have I said EXCELLENT???!!!)

We went with Marios based in Porta Roma, look out for boards and leaflets all around Vassilikos. A fabulous day out for the family - snorkelling, turtle spotting, visiting caves and coves. The difference between this trip and others is Mario. He is a wealth of information, loves what he does and is fabulous with kids. Highly recommended.
