Me and my mate stayed in Laganas from 25th August to the 8th September we stayed in the Evegenia apartments. Before we went we read the slatings that these apartments got on here and expected the worse. We actually loved the place the downfall... Olympic. Infact not all Olympic Jess she was the worst rep i have ever met. I am so glad you all feel the same because she annoyed me and my mate so much. She came to do our welcome meeting and never did it so we never got one. Fantastic!!! All she went to be a rep for was to meet guys, get smashed (which we witnessed most nights on the strip) and not do her job. She was awful!! She also had to flirt with as many guys as she could which became quite irritating to watch and eventually she stopped speaking to me when she saw me because i just laughed at her for it. So immature. I think Olympic really need to review their staff members. Luicinda been another bad rep. We met some people in our apartments who payed for 7 nitghts. Sunday was their 7th night they flew early Monday morning. Olympic kicked them out of the room at 12 on the Sunday so they lost a night they had paid for and had nowhere to go for 18 hours. Jess refused to come and speak to them when they phoned to complain and Luicinda was doing transfers and ran away from them and got back on the coach for the next drop off. Olympic should review training and customer service skills they teach!!!!!!!!!!!11

No complaints about the holiday here.  Rep (Brett) was excellent - didn't try and force unwanted excursions on us like some do.  Transfer rep on the way to the studios was also very good (can't remember his name).  Accommodation was excellent and Olympic descriptions were accurate.  Airport transfers were lovely and short - I know that on some islands they can be around 3 hours long with this tour operator.  Coaches were very comfortable.  Flights were early there and back (though I know this is down to the airline and not Olympic), but were at very good times of day - not horrible overnight flights.

Just letting everyone know that Eileen is absolutely right about Jess from the Alex Apts. She was so selfish and didnt care about you - especially if you werent a group of lads and didnt buy any excursions from her!!!!!! hope she gets sacked....she is letting the Alex apts down bigtime!!!!!

Update on our complaint against Olympic. We wrote the usual letter outlining our grievances and then received a letter from Olympic stating that they would get back to us within the month but don't try to contact them during this time as they will not respond. It has now been 6 weeks since the letter went and we have still had no reply. Olympic? fantastic customer relations!!!!

Update on previous email about Alexandair used by Olympic holidays. Still no news of our luggage from 22nd Sept.Numerous phone calls have revealed that luggage is still missing from flights as far back as Sept 15th.Manchester airport have recieved hundreds of complaints about this airline.Many of them are to complex to go into.Alexandair can not be contacted direct and Olympic holidays still using all sorts of excuses.This operator needs investigating AGAIN.Something needs to be done about it,and quickly.

olympic..........wouldnt recommend these to anyone. just returned from a two week stay at alex apartments and thought they were great so is the cleaner but booked through olympic BIG BIG MISTAKE especially if you are from the older generation as for the rep jessie what a waste of time NEEDS SACKING she was all me me me and the young lads. Theo  if you read this CHANGE YOUR TOUR OPERATOR and for the sake of you customers CHANGE YOUR REP they are letting you down

. Used Olympic via Alexandiar.Arrived into Manchester on 22nd Sept.Our luggage was left behind along with hundreds of others.Since found out this is a regular problem with this operater.Still no news of our luggage.Alexandiar is just an answerphone.Olympic just used various excuses and are not interested.The pilot gave the definate impression that the luggage would follow within hours.A total lie.I have contacted Watchdog and hope this is followed up to expose these operators as the joke that they are.Myself and i presume hundreds more wont be using them again.We was just 4 but 4 becomes 8,8 becomes 16,16 becomes 32.Understand what i mean.Then hopefully Alexandair will have no passengers to carry.They dont give a damn about the most important thing.The customer.

We stayed at the Marie studios with the use of the pool in the nearby Alex studios, whilst the accommodation and the pool area was faultless, olympics side of things was a complete farce.The rep we had, a certain miss jess baines, oh dear!! if you have this rep then good luck to you, we arrived in the resort at 8.30 am on a monday morning having left london at 8pm the previous night and were expected to attend a welcome meeting at 12 midday, needless to say we slept through this and that led to the rep not speaking a word to us for a full week, and when she did speak to us she said "excuse me, are you going home today"!!!!!!!!!! she had no idea who we were, where we were staying, when we were leaving, the next time she spoke to us was a couple of days before we left informing us that we MUST leave our accommodation at 12 midday the day before our flight..................... our flight was 7.15 AM monday so despite paying for 14 nights holiday we were told we had to leave at 12 midday sunday, great stuff. There were an awful lot of robberies and beatings this year, and going out on a saturday night was chaos as all the locals were out and werent too friendly, we woke up one morning around 5.30am to find some greasy albanian IN OUR ROOM trying to rob us!!!! Overall, the holiday was a disappointment.

First (AND LAST) time with olympic. Room descriptions poor, information to travel agents poor, accomodation poor, reps too friendly with the accomodation owners (keep it on a professional basis), flight changes out going ( we were informed 2 weeks prior which was no problem) and on return - we found out the day before and had all the hassle of re-arranging airport pickups. Booked taxi transfers to aviod waiting in a hot bus, "a taxi shortage" ( when they have known for a year that we wanted a taxi!!!) was apparently the cause for having to wait! On the return flight we had to tell the rep that we had booked a taxi transfer and then only one taxi turned up for 4 people in our party and we had to sort the other one out with the taxi driver. Flew with Malta Airlines and the in flight entertainment consited of a small screen with a map of the planes progress, its airspeed, temperature outside the plane and the time, riveting for the kids!!! Lots of other companies, with much less experience, do much better.

We have just got back from Zante following a two week holiday with olympic. We found they were fantasic. We had some trouble in our accomodation (those of you staying in Yakinthos apts, hope you dont get unlucky roon number 5 as we did n everything went wrong) tried to sort it with the owners but they threatened us with locking us in our room and calling police for something we didnt do! We spoke tto our rep but we also hd to make the trip to the local olympic office to get more advice. The girl there was more than hlpfull and assisted us with all our needs. We would definatly be travelling with olympic again. thankyou very much to laura and donovan for all their help!

Having booked the accommodation due to its write up and flights times were excellent from Newcastle were disappointed to be told 6wks before departure that our flights had changed from 2pm to 4am!! Not ideal but was prepared to make the most of it.  The accommodation was fantastic and a must for everyone but the airline was something to be desired, they were delayed on our return home and made the decision not to load any luggage on the plane and not have the decency to inform us of this until we landed and was handed a letter from the airline to advise us due to a technicality that the luggage would follow and even now over a wk later we have yet to receive our cases!! We have been told this is a regular thing lately with the airline concerned!

The flight was changed to 5 in the morning, instead of 8, which was inconvenient, but when I had to go home suddenly, the rep was more than helpful in helping me find a seat on a flight at the last minute. Very good customer service!

Have holidayed with Olympic a few times before, and generally they've been a good company. However, we booked this holiday to Tsilivi in March, picking Zante partly because the flight times were good (during the day). Two weeks before our hols in June 2005, Olympic sent new tickets out, and our outbound flight had changed to 02.40am ( Yes 20 to 3 in the morning!) That ment checking in at 00.40, and basically not getting any sleep the night before. With a 5 year old in toe, thats not a good way to start a holiday beleave me!

When I phoned Olympic to find out why, they said it was just one of those things! We couldn't change the flight, and if we cancelled and rebooked another holiday with them, we'd have to pay a massive surcharge.

The holiday itself was great, and I'd recommend the Zante Star Hotel, and Tsilivi to anyone. Not sure we'll be using Olympic again though!

Just returned from our second time to Tsilivi at Zante Star with Olympic.  No complaints whatsoever.  Brett was still there as rep which was fantastic to see him again, he is extremely good and we thought Olympic had everything organised well.  The airport going back was bad, but that's nothing to do with Olympic, the reps had their bit well organised and I sometimes wonder what people expect.  We would not hesitate to book with Olympic again.

I think some people just love to moan! just think the reps have to see hundreds of travellers every day, and yes i know that it their job, but give them a break they are only human!!!!!

I have traveled with olympic holiday a few times, and everything was fine, brilliant holiday and to be honest i think if some people have a bad experience on holiday its always easier to blame the rep. After all better then blaming someone each other. But i must say olympic holdays have been the best reps that i have delt with. They have all been very helpful and polite. But if it rains whan i go on holiday next year i'll just blame the reps!!!!!!!!

i am actually a rep from another company and i just have to say to ann who made the comment about the airport this has absolutly nothing to do with olympic or any other holiday company for that matter the airport is a typical greek airport and meets the standards you would expect to find in greece especially on an island of zantes size ( as it is actually only the same size as the isle of man ) if you actually take time to read the brochure or do a little research on the place that you are visiting then you would be realise this and therefore have no need to complain on matters that you would have already been aware of. zante is a beatifull island and the people there are so friendly that even having to wait at the airport for a few hours (which might i add is quite a nice one which benches and lots of shade outside ) shouldnt put a downer on a holiday here, i think some people just like to moan and expect everything to be up to british standards, if this is the case then may i suggest taking your holiday in blackpool where everything should meet with your health and safty standards and leave greece for those who can actually respect and enjoy there culture and way of life, airport included thanks

Wouldnt go it Alamis Hotel again, staff didnt speak to us, had to change room its better in main building. Airport a joke , 3 hrs to get from airport to accomodation about 30 mins away . Airport not big enough to cope, on way back no seats in lounge had to sit on cold floor , they cant have any health and safty regulations at the airport because its so packed with people im sure they couldnt cope in any kind of emergancy situation.

I wasn't very pleased with Olympic Holidays, they were the only 'fly in the ointment' of my otherwise great hols! I had my bag stolen which had my room and safe keys and when I rang the 24hr so called emergency number it was not dealt with how I think it should have been. I was patronised and not taken seriously. The member of staff expected me to either stay in another guest's room, go and stay in a hotel (having told her I have no money or cards...) or (get this) get the barman to break into our room through the patio doors! hello??? they're lucky I'm a 27yr old woman with a bit of savvy, imagine giving this advice to a young 17yr old girl!!! I filed an official complaint and await to hear. It has put me off using them again.

when i arrived at the airport i asked the rep which coatch we was on she had no time to talk to me and was rude she told me to find another rep when i found the other rep she could just about be bothered to tell me what coatch i was on we arrived at our apartment and was then told by the rep up there number 62 and that was it. When it came to the end of our holiday we had an early morning flight on a monday we were told we had to be out our apartment at 12.00pm on sunday. olympic had started our holiday on the sunday knowing we did not arrive till the monday so our holiday ended on the sunday but we was not due to leave until the monday. when i ask the rep why this was she did not have an answer for me but said it happens all the time with monday morning flights she then wanted me to pay 15 euros to stay in the acommerdation until 6.00pm when i had not even had my 14 nights.I asked her if she wanted the money and she said i'll get it of you tommorrow evening. i went down the beach on the sunday and arrived back after 12.00pm i got back to find that the lock had beden changed due to not paying the money. i paid the owner of the appartment and even they said olymic was clueless. We went for somthing to eat and to a bar until 12.00am as our transfurs were coming at 4.00am we went back at 12.00 as there was no one to look after luggage at this time. when we arrived back we were left to sit on benches out side because every think shut at 12.00am and they even locked the toilets so for four hours we could not use the toilet and were cold. then olympic turned up late. over all i thought olympic was rude and half the time they did not seem to know what was going on.

BOOKED WITH OLYMPIC FOR OUR COMBINED WEDDING AND HOLIDAY. STAFF ARRANGING OUR WEDDING PREPARATIONS AT THE OLYMPIC OFFICES IN LONDON MADE A TOTAL MESS OF OUR WEDDING PLANS.WHICH WE HAD TO INCONVIENIENCE OURSELVES TRAVELLING TO LONDON TO TRY AND SALVAGE OUR WEDDING PLANS. ONLY A WEEK AND HALF BEFORE OUR FLIGHT. OLYMPIC STAFF WERE RUDE AND HAD NO COMPASSION FOR US AT ALL. TOTALY USELESS. HOWEVER ON ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT WE WERE GREETED WITH A LETTER FROM OUR WEDDING CO-ORDINATOR, REASURING US SHE WOULD BE AVAILABLE TO TEND TO OUR EVERY NEED. WHICH I MUST SAY SHE DID. IF THE STAFF BACK HOME HAD ANY OF THE EXPERIENCE SHE DID, THEY WOULD HAVE A FIVE STAR COMPANY. HER NAME WAS CAROLINE SMITT, AND SHE WAS A GODSEND, SHE EVEN TRANSLATED FOR US AT OUR WEDDING. SHE WAS POLITE AND NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE FOR HER. A LOVELY GIRL. WE THANK HER FOR MAKING OUR WEDDING, A DAY WE'LL NEVER FORGET.

We hardly saw our rep but when we did he was great, we had a few problems and it was solved quickly, thanx dave! The only complaint is the airport though i've never seen anything like it, the queues outside! My room is bigger then the departure lounge! The duty free is expensive so is the snack bar! Everyone was sitting on the floor and on the stairs up to the shop, misserable ending to a fun holiday!

Recently back from two weeks staying at the Zante Star Hotel. The holiday was well organised with no problems at the airport. The two reps we encountered were brilliant Jane we met a couple of times and she was really good fun and a great rep. Brett was our rep and he was brilliant and good fun too especially on the meze night.

Excel Airways were fantastic, really made you feel welcome and getting you geared up for the holiday. Would fly with them again.

We didnt find our holiday rep at the two brothers very helpful and the excursions and car hire etc was extremely expensive, it certainly pays to have a walk around before committing yourself to the tour rep.

Everything was good about the holiday especially the appartemtns Yakinthos - the only thing that could be alot better is the reps actually telling you important information rather than leving a message on a board to see him.
I.E when your flight has been cancelled and changed to a different airline AND TIME!!!!

We will definately go back to Zante but maybe not with Olympic

Just returned from Zante. We stayed at Dias Studios. Everything was excellant. Naomi was very helpful and friendly as she was when we stayed at 2 Brothers in May. The Excel Airways flights were good too - actually providing the veggy meals as requested and they didn't try to keep selling you things as some other airlines.

Stopped at Dionysis & Tonia apartments in Kalamaki for first 2 weeks in September. Naomi was possibly one of the best reps I have dealt with. Always on site when she said she would be. Very polite and helpful whenever we met. Thanks and all the best for the future. (Heard a rumour of a wedding!)

Monarch flights from and to Manchester were very good. We landed in Manchester 30 minutes early on 24 August. Airport transfers were good. Accomodation at Paradise Studios was good, but the pool is much better at Paradise Beach Hotel (just across the road). Olympic rep (Andrea, I think) not very good. A pleasant girl, but not very effective when people needed her help and advice. We were o.k., but other people had some problems with missing luggage from another flight. Olympic web site very good. Booked on line at short notice and tickets arrived within 48 hours

The rep we had at laganas was less than accomadating for us when we went last week. We got burgaled the first night and he didnt do any thing,he charged us 50 euros to go to the police, 'cus they dont speak any english, and if we went it would have taken upto 4 wks to get the report for insurance. Accomidation was v.basic, and even then the rep did nothing about the language barrier we had with the owners.After a coach crash we were in 3 days into the holiday, we'd had enough with the lack of service. Even had the cheek to requst a glowing report from us at the end! JMC were better when we went to Gran Caneria last year.

I am travelling with Olympic Holidays to Zante Laganas 14th September I am staying in the Yakinthos Apts on the outskirts of Laganas. Can anyone tell me anything about apts how far to town beach etc. Any info would be helpfull

Having travelled with a good few holiday companies and worked for Airtours, I know what the traveller has to face and also the Rep.Company has to deal with. Overall I think the whole holiday went smoothly.
Our Rep Naomi was professional, smart and seemed to have an interest in her job.
As for the car hire/selling of tours, I like a lot of others, know that to book these through the Rep is a rip off.........and so do they...I guess they are just doing thier job!!

Flying with Monarch was surprisingly good. We, unlike the rest of the outbound flights from Gatwick, left on time and even arrived home earlier than expected. Food onboard was good and more surprisingly, the cabin crew helpfull and polite !!!! (I guess they may well be reading these comments!).

Olympic's website is far better than most holiday companies and the prices are much cheaper.
I would certainly travel with Olympic again.

Very basic but it was ok. Lou the rep was seen at the studio's and very friendly. Transfer back to airport was not arranged very good. Late picking up and then having to queue up outside the airport in lines (like being back at school) in the boiling heat waiting to be despatched to check in, also there 3 and half hours before flight. Also we received our tickets from Olympic telling us to go to Terminal 1 at Manchester Airport when check in was at Terminal 2.

Can't believe what other people have said about Olympic. We have just got back from the Maria Appartments in Alykesand it was fantastic. Lisa the rep was there and went out of her way to help everyone. Only went on one trip The North Island Tour but it was a fantastic day! I do agree with one thing Monarch stewards need to Smile.

I am shocked to read the other comments on here about Olympic. We have had an excellent fortnight in Zante with Olympic. Rep was Naomi at Dionisys & Tonia Studios in Kalamaki and we couldn't have asked for more, she was always around and if her shifts changed to cover the office or a trip then she would put up a notice saying when and where we could contact her. Brilliant rep she gave the company a great name. Not only a holiday rep but a great friend who was around for a chat and a laugh whenever she was about. Loved it and would definitely book with Olympic again.

Olymic holidays were absoulut loved by myself and my three friend when we arrived in Laganas in August 2002.Our rep Chris was lovely to retrieve some lost luggage.However he was crap after that we all got the bug (d&V)but he cheered us up by saying only 80% of tourists on the island get it. He also was no help when my sisters divsion three hull city away shirt got stolen from our washing line.He said it would have been an english lad pissed up who would have stolen it (why would they do that!!!) and it couldn't have been the greek family who were the only people who had access to our balcony and washing line and would think a diviion three football shirt was cool!! Never travel with this company again!!1

OLYMPIC ARE THE WORST TOUR OPERATOR GOING FOR ZANTE..Our holiday would have been perfect if we had left out the tour operators!!! Travel with Olympic if you want to get RIPPED OFF...we double checked the price of our room if we'd have booked direct with the hotel, and it worked out to be £30 per day for a double room - we paid £1500 for 2 people for 14 nites(ACTUALLY GOT 13)incl flights. Apart from this any problems we had Olympic did nothing about, our taxi didn't arrive to pick us up for our return flight (it hadn't been booked), and we got chucked out of our room a full 18 hours before we were due to leave for the airport (therefore having to pay an extra day rate for our room). Hotel explained that they can actually and do regularly offer Olympic alternative arrangements for people with niteflites, but they choose not to take them. Hence you get everyone complaining at reception for being chucked out! They are the very worst company i have travelled with!

We went to Alykes (Panos) in July on a last minute deal which turned out to be a fantastic holiday. BUT. It was marred though by the rep Kym. She didn't turn up when she was supposed to - on one occasion we waited for a hour and gave up, her local knowledge was not very good and the only trip we organised through her was a disapointment. When I tried to complain about the trip she shrugged it off - she has no idea about customer service what so ever.

I would definitely travel with Olympic again. We stayed at the White House apartments and had Jo the rep in the room next door to us. She was a great rep and a right laugh. Most of all, she drinks like a fish (a girl after my own heart). Any problems, she tried to sort them out quickly. Accomodation was basic, but clean. Flights were good, but Monarch cabin crews could do with smiling a bit more. Say hi to Jo if you're going there soon, and tell her to stop breaking Costas' chairs.

Keep clear of the Two Brothers in Kalamaki. I called it INSOMNIACS PARADISE. It is so noisy. Noisy teenagers, noisy motorbikes. The rep Jo is a bit lazy and is only interested in going out. Not very helpful.

We barely needed our rep which is a compliment in itself, but had we done she was regularly on the resort to deal with problems and was helpful. The tours olympic offered were more expensive than competitors. Generally though, i cant fault them and i had a fantastic time

Mel the rep tried to scare people into hiring cars with a tale of unreliable bus services. Her recommended car hire company charged 20% more than the others, probably to recoup backhanders to reps. Informed peole on early morning flights that they would be given a room. We had to rent a room IN A NEARBY COMPLEX on our final day after being cleared out at 11am for a 6.30am flight THE NEXT MORNING. The other reps, Kelly and Sam were more helpful.
