31-07-2011 a GREAT restaurant, we went there 4 times and really loved the food, the people are so kind and friendly, i`m in a wheelchair and they helped us get in... so nice!!! And what i liked was that they diddn`t try to get you inside the restaurant like the most restaurants do in Argassi
When we go there again we will go to Papillion Restaurant...With a lot of other tavernas now closed and in particular the closure of Erato (opposite) this place was v. busy in August 2010. Good Italian food. wood fired oven.

This place is a MUST GO, great food great staff and good price, nice place. Please manage to put one night away and go to Papillon you won't be dissappointed.
Just come back from Argassi, tried all the Tavernas but Papillon was the best - friendly staff, lovely food, consistant with their steaks - always grilled perfectly - Chicken a la creme gorgeous - must try the choc. fudge cake, definately - 'death by chocolate'!!! Nikki (butterfly key ring) (she'll know) - was a good laugh and the owner and waiters were very sweet. Janice & Tony from Oxfordshire.
what can you say about papillon excellent excellent excellent.
What can I say about the restaurant apart from LOVE IT , LOVE IT , LOVE IT.Thanks for staying open so long Sakis I need to diet now. Enjoy your winter break and see you in the spring . Ate here 17 nights out of 21 and thats only because he was closed for the remaining nights. That says it all .
We went here on our second night and were really impressed by the quality and tastiness of our food! We invited some of our friends to come and eat there with us, and they loved it, my son had some really nice mousaka. When i couldnt decide what to have ,the ownre offered me small portions of several things! Lovely cold beer as well...
Best place for pasta in Argassi!
we had a meal in this restaurant and i have to say the person who owns this restaurant is fab, he treats all the people the same and he i so polite we did have to wait quite a long time for our meal to come and as we had 5 kids with us they did become very bored, it was worth the wait though . must say again the staff and owner are brill thank you
We ate in a different restaurant for 13 nights and saved our favourite till last. The Papillon. Great food, the staff don't pester you to come in and the hospitality is great.
Just arrived back from Argassi and my partner and myself felt we had to commend Papillion Restaurant on Two wonderful meals. Mainly we were impressed with the fact that the owner of papillion doesnt feel the need to stand on the pavement and tout for custom. We made the decision to try his restaurant because of this fact and that even though at beginning of the season Argassi is very quiet the restaurant still had more customers than any other on the strip.
Very nice food and service although we scared one of the waiters when asking for Magners Cider he ran away from us as he didnt understand.
The Papillon was one of the best restaurants we visited during our stay in Argassi. The food, wine and service was excellent, Well worth a visit.
We had many meals in our 2 week stay in Argassi and without doubt the food we had at Papillon was the best. Exceptional fillet steak, pork chop and the Lamb Kleftiko was superb as well. I cannot fault the food or the service we received. If you have the time the wait for the Chocolate Souffle is worth the wait. I would recommend it to anyone. There is something on the menu to suit all tastes. My only regret is that I'm not still there!
This for us was just an average Argassi restaurant. My mexican pizza was 3 small and very thin slices of salami and what I assumed was 3 slices of peperonni the size of a 1p piece. Could have been so much better.
food was very nice, but in true greek tradition had to wait a long time between courses (over an hour!) but dont let that put you off.
Our meal at Papillon on Monday 28/08/06 was top class and so were the excellent and helpful staff who will happily take time to help explain and the food available. The mussels alio olio starter, the fantasia and chicken souvlaki meals were all delicious and highly recommended and all for around 40 euros with drinks!! THE Place to eat in Argassi.
Whenever we vist Zante (which is very often now as we have bought a place there!) it is the first place we vistit for a meal. Would recommend the slow cooked lamb and their pizza's are out of this world. Staff are really friendly too.Do not leave Zante without eating here first!!
once again simply the best restaurant in argassi. service brilliant food delicious and staff amazing we have been coming to this restaurant for 5 years and have never had a bad meal
