Walking back from the beach and discovered the Bally Hoo with an odd character sat outside. Found out his name to be Alan and what a smashing bloke! Ordered a beer, got presented with a frozen glass and a bottle of lager which was like nectar and the cheapest we had found in Tsilivi. Now we have read the other reviews on here we will have to return to Tsilivi to sample your breakfast and burgers Alan! Left my tee shirtclick to enlarge on the chair and Alan came round to the hotel and brought it back to me!

i disagree with Big Phil.  I have just come back from Zante and went to Ballyhoo bar. don't know who you spoke to but it doesn't sound like the owner as he was very welcoming and accommodating for our little girl who is a very fussy eater.  We had a fab time there. would always go back thgere especially for the home made burgers and the full english breakfast.

Sorry; But I Disagree with last comments

We visited Bayyhoo on 28/05/08; Two Staff sat outside, with no customers
Once served, beer was ok though.
Sadly The Owner made us feel like Zante was Dead on It's Feet, Especially Tsilivi;
Went here with a View to considering Purchase, But became more Interested in Renzo Enzo, Next Door, as although Empty had more Potential; It wasn't until Owner Realised who I was that the Attitude Changed; When we left an Hour later we were still the only customers
Sorry Bally hoo, but thats how we saw it.

Make sure you pay a visit to Bally Hoo whilst you are in Tsilivi.  Very friendly.  Good breakfast (whether you want it morning, afternoon or evening).  Played bingo one afternoon which was fun (would have been better if we had won .  Had a few late nights there and Alan ran us back to the hotel - what service!  Don't pass it by.

Can't fault the BallyHoo food and drink great and really well priced nothing is a bother to them whether you want an early breakfast or a midnight snack .

Alan and Cherie are two of the most welcoming friendly people I have met Alan even took time out of his busy schedule to take our autistic son to Laganas for a visit.
Thanks again to you both for making our holiday special and for your kindness

Had a fabulous breakfast. Cherie and Alan were very welcoming.  The best breakfast I've had in   Tsilivi. Thanks for making our holiday so much fun. Can't wait to come back next year.  10/10 for a fab breakfast. Kelly

Can't fault this place - Alan and Cherie very friendly and welcoming.  We had the full English about 4 times in the week we were there and it was delicious every time.  The price (less than 6 Euros) is really reasonable for the huge plateful, plus toast and a proper MUG of tea.  Make sure you visit!

Bally Hoo is the best and most friendly place we found on the entire island of Zante.

The breakfast was excellent and the home made BEEF (not ham) burgers were to die for. Alan and Cherie are two of the most welcoming and friendly people we have ever met.

We are so disappointed that we only discovered this hidden treasure on the last 2 days of your holiday otherwise we would have eaten there everyday.

Thanks again for opening for us before we had to fly out. It really meant alot.

We found Bally Hoo during the second week of our holiday, we wished it was the first week!
Cherie and Alan were great fun, Alan's breakfasts were the best we had all fortnight! Just the best!!!
Our only regret was that we didn't try his Burgers, next year hopefully!
Thanks again for opening earlier so that we could have another great breakfast before we caught our flight.
Such service!!!

click to enlargeFantastic!  You must not miss this place at all, it will be your loss.  Alan and Cherie are so accommodating and our 3-year daughter, Charlotte, absolutely loved it, particularly as everything was cooked to her liking and she was totally spoilt on every visit!  A great place to go, relaxing, fantastic food and extremely friendly, what more can we say!  Keep up the great work "Bill" (ha now that is a secret between my daughter and Alan, but if you go to Bally Hoo you can find out what its all about!?).  Hope to see you soon, Love Charlotte, Katrina & Tim xxx
