| We had a fantastic 2 weeks at the Oniro! This was our first holiday when entertaining kids was no longer a priority (grown up, not abandoned!) and the peaceful, quiet and friendly atmosphere created by the wonderful family - Christos( No. 1 Chef!), Ella, Nikos, Costas and Anastasia - who own and run the studios was right up our street! A superb apartment with beautiful views, a lovely pool and wonderful walks down to the beach and restaurants made this one of the best holidays we have ever had.
We met some great people and had many enjoyable nights in the bar - we didn't feel the need to go elsewhere - but, if a livelier night is your cup of tea, then 7 Euros takes you into Tsillivi.
We would recommend the Oniro to anyone who enjoys a quieter holiday as it really was perfect. Never before have we booked to go to the same place twice but I have this time - roll on Sep 11th 2008!
Hello to everyone we met - and Ian where's my photos???

We spent a fabulous two weeks at the Oniro Studios. We weren't sure what to expect as it was a last minute holiday but we couldn't have been happier when the taxi dropped us off. We were greeted by Nikos and shown to our rooms which were absolutely immaculate. Nikos and the entire family were superb hosts so there is absolutely no need for a pushy holiday rep. The apartments are just the right size and have a very friendly atmosphere so much so that we happily spent most nights in the bar. The hustle and bustle of Tsilivi is only a 7 euro taxi journey away and to be honest I think we would have found staying in the resort a bit too hectic. All in all a perfect holiday, we'll return so Costas get the wine ready Yvonne & Ian, Edinburgh | |

This year was our 5th visit to Oniro. It's the best!! The appartments are clean and have everything you need including air con at no extra charge and this year they had all been refurbished. The pool is great, extremly clean and there are plenty of sunbeds to relax on.There is a pool side bar which is well stocked and if you are not sure what to have Costas will always 'conjure' up one of his cocktails for you. Breakfast and lunches are also avalible here.
There is a supermarket across the road, Tavernas near by and the beach is a five min walk away.
Once a week there is a Greek night with great food and all the meat cooked by Christos on the BBQ.
Together with greek dancers and a great perfomance from Costas it's a really fun night!!.
This year we took our family, our daughter and her boyfriend enjoyed themselves so much that they
are returning at the end of September.
We know people who, like us return to Oniro year after year so I think that says it all!!

we have just spent an amazing two weeks at the oniro studios, and with out a doubt will be returning in the future. The studios are run by Chritos, Ella, Nikos, Anastasia and Costas who make you feel like part of the family and can't do enough for you. The rooms are very clean and very spacious and we stayed in room 111, the veiw from our back balcony looked out on to the sea, Kefilonia and the mainland, breathtaking.
This is the best holiday we have been on and that is down to the friendly atmosphere of the oniro, from the family to all the guests that stay there.
Overall this is a great place and we can't wait to get back and see Nikos, Costas and all the family, for anyone reading this reveiw i strongly recommend u consider going to the oniro.

I would recommend anyone to go and stay at the Oniro Studios. you will not be dissapointed. Lovely rooms, lovely surroundings, great pool! but the best thing has got to be the wonderful family! Christos, Ella, Nickos, Costas and Anastasia. They make the holiday and cant do enough for you.
You can choose to relax by the pool or get a 5mins cab into town. So you have everything you need
We stayed at the Oniro for 1 week in June 2007 and did not want to leave! We have already booked to go back in a few weeks..cant wait!
looking forward to seeing the family again, we miss you!

This has to have been the best holiday myself and my partner have been on. I was a bit nervous about the apartments after reading that they were actually in tragaki/Amboula and not tsilivi, however, I was very pleased with the accomodation. They were cleaned daily with fresh bedding and towels. The family were very friendly and got on very well with Nikos (Te Kanis Nikos!!). The apartments were very quiet and just what we were looking for. Wait for it there is a however!! If your taking kids you need to take something for them to do in the evening if you're staying in, as there is not a lot for them to do in the evening - especially when they're 13 going on 30.
I really enjoyed my time at "the dream" and would recommend this to anyone visiting the area.
Oh by the way - you have got to got to the Amboula Restaurant, it's got the best scenary in the evening overlooking Kefalonia and the food is excellent ( try the Mussels in wine sauce for starts)
