Tsilivi Beach Hotel - (Accommodation in Tsilivi)

Courtney B

Excellent location and very friendly staff, especially Alice on reception and the bar staff. Initially provided with a shabby room in old section of the hotel overlooking scrubland and half built hotel. Managed to persuade receptionist to give us a room in modern section of hotel overlooking pools and sea! It does seem that if you are B & B
you are penalised by being allocated a room in the old section of the hotel. In addition to this, better not to have breakfast as poor selection and quality (same rubbish everyday).
This resort is very english (lots of fry ups, footy shirts and chips with everything). As the vast majority of restaurants and bars are located on the main road, meals are accompanied by the drone of mopeds and cars speeding back and forth. Planos area does offer some relief with less traffic and better quality restaurants. Not a bad holiday but won't be going back.

Tsilivi Resort - (Resorts in Zante)

Stayed at the Tsilivi Beach Hotel and returned on the 18th September.
Hotel was an ideal location on the seafront.
Resort was too "English" for our liking with too many football shirts and chips.
Mopeds and noisy car exhausts spoilt many an evening meal as restaurants mostly on the main road.
Try the Planos area, slightly quieter and better quality of food. Try Manos Grill Restaurant in Planos, recommended to us by a couple we met - Vinnie and wife from Doncaster.
(How's your head Vinnie????)
Not a bad holiday, but not the place for us!!
