Calypso Restaurant - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

David C

Second year visiting Tsilivi, last year tried 5 or 6 differant restaurants, came to the conclusion that the Calypso was the only restaurant worth eating at. This year, we went there on the first night and got a most friendly reception from ALL staff. Ate there every night during our 14 night stay due to combination of, excellent menu variety, outstanding quality of food, friendlyness of staff and most of all value for money. Mixed grill only for those with a large, healthy appetite. Souvlaki combo for two a must to try. Scampi like you've never tasted before, no air in these. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Popeyes - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Can't fault a full English breakfast of: 1 slice fried bread, 2 eggs, 1 sausage, 1 rasher bacon, mushrooms, beans, fried tomato, 2 round toast, glass of orange juice and endless coffee all for 5.00 euros (£3.26), if that doesn't wet your appetite then try their burgers (no cardboard Mcdonalds burgers here)! And as for the Lemon Meringue pie, WOW, better than my mother makes. Never ate here evening time, but absolutely superb for breakfast and lunch.

May - (Best Time to Visit)

Got back to UK on 26th May after spending a fortnight here. Second year running been in May. Definately the best time of year to go. Not to crowded, weather still hot enough. Roll on 2003.
