Majestic - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Excellent all round!
Mike the owner was warm, polite, kind and welcoming. We ate there several times, last week of May 2012.
I'm a picky vegetarian, this was no problem! Mike tailor made every dish to suit my needs and tastes.
The menu is diverse, but the greek food in particular was excellent!
The desserts are the best selection on the island!

Thanks to Mike for all of his kindness and hospitality x

Mavrikos Hotel - (Accommodation in Tsilivi)

Rebekah B  (04 June 2012)        9/10

Stayed here end of May 2012.

Really lovely place, out of the way from the rest of the town but within 2 minutes walk of restaurants, supermarket and bars.

I'm not one for staying in my hotel all day. Many of the Brits using this place seem to like to sit on the same sun lounger day in day out, which is a bit sad.
This didn't matter to us however, we always got time for a dip in the pool everyday without any problems and always got a good pint from the bar.

The reception staff were lovely. We checked out really early on the last day to do a trip. Our bus wasn't due til late afternoon, no problem, they let us shower, offered us clean towels, and looked after our luggage all day at no extra cost.

The rooms were cleaned every day and we had fresh towels every day.

Thanks to Jean, the lovely lady from Bridgend who works there x

Moby Dick - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Lovely place!

Spent 2 or 3 days sunbathing here eating snacks and having drinks.

The staff just leave you to it and the sun loungers don't cost anything as long as you buy something from the restaurant.

Very relaxed and chilled out place

Levante Speedboat Trip - (Zante Excursions)

Rebekah B          10/10

Awesome awesome awesome!
The captain is funny, entertaining and really accomodating. Great if you have kids too.

We did other trips with different operators before this one. I would recommend doing Levante trips first before any others, they are better quality by far.

At first I wondered how the price could be justified as there are similar trips that go to the same places for less. You absolutely get value for money on this trip! I felt I got my monies worth x10 on this trip, whilst the others in the area were only just worth the money or not at all.

Definately pay the extra and do one of his trips at least! You will not regret it.
We had the best day of our holiday on this trip, and if we hadn't had to leave later that afternoon, we would have done his turtle trip the following day (despite already doing a turtle trip with another tour company before).

We went to the shipwreck, first trip of the season, May 2012.

Benikos - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

The food was good, they accomodated my pickiness with a smile and no problems!

Nickos the owner was warm and welcoming.
Becky on the other hand had a face like a slapped a** and spent the evening trying to look busy, whilst not doing any work and scowling at the waitress who had to run around doing everything herself.

Cheer up Becky! And get some service skills. You were the only thing unpleasant in the restaurant and you reminded us of the rubbish service we get in restaurants back in the UK.

Other than that, great! May be she was having a bad day?

Boomerang Beach Bar - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Rebekah B          10/10

Awesome place!
Ate here twice in 1 week.

Very clean and comfortable, and a beautiful spot to chill out as evening sets in.

The owner was great. He gave us great advice on where to go and how to get there, drawing us a map etc. He let us know about a water park round the corner that was half the price and almost as good as the one in the middle of the island.

We loved sitting on the balcony having a beer. Would definately go back

Boomerang Beach Bar - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

To Roy and Jackie,

It's on the beach front, so just walk to the beach from wherever you are and head in the direction of the small harbour.

Walking from the harbour there are a few hotels, then this is the first real bar. It is at the end of the road that goes straight into town.
