Just arrived back from our forth visit to Tsilivi 
We had the the big English breakfast every morning and it was fantastic and good value for money, the staff are very freindly and I would recomend it to anyone.

The Pardise bar is just as good as ever 
the staff are excellent, make you most welcome and keep you entertained all night 
especially Stavros (yes,yes.yes) Tony, Hercules,Yiannis & Nico the DJ. Thank you for all free cocktails shots the atmosphere for the England matches was fantastic

Can anyone tell me where Callinika 3 are situated ? I beleive they are at the Planos end of Tsilivi. We have just booked last minute for a week on 19th August - 4 adults, but I am bit worried about the hill and the distance into the town centre and Paradise Bar/Cosmopolitan Apartments where we have stayed for the past 4 years.

We dont mind walking as long as we can stop in a bar or two on the way to the Paradise bar (best bar in Greece) to see Stavros "YES YES YES" Yiannis "The Master" Marios "The Disaster" Oliver "The Clown" and not forgeting Nick "the DJ" guess we will need one of those horsey things to get us home or we could call in a bar near Callinika - for a night cap - know any good ones down that end? Paradise Bar is the best bar in Greece . Just returned on 26th August from our 5th visit to Tsilivi and made straight for the Paradise bar. Yianis, Stavros, Marios, Oliver, Babis, Nick and Joel the Aussie guy and the cocktails were as good as ever, you certainly can never leave, keep up the good work guys, we will be back next year to see you all - can't wait -till then -Yiamas

Just returned from Callinika 3 on 26th August. Although basic but clean we could not fault the apartments with fantastic sea views from our balcony at the back and pleasent pool views at the front. Dont expect more than one change of towels or sheets all week but the full English at 5 eoros more than made up for it .The best value breakfast in Tsilivi by far -I don't know how they do it!
If you fancy a nightcap, call in at Callinika 2 bar and you will be made very welcome by Spiros the handsome greek guy who is more than happy to stay open as long as you want too and some nights we wondered back by the short cut up the steps to our apartments at the top of the killer hill at 5am!!We met some lovely people there from Newcastle and Birmingham and would not hesitate to go back to Callinika Apartments Yiamas

Hi Julia,
There is a shop just down the hill from Callinka 3 on the corner a minute away and also a supermarket over the road from Callinka 2. The shops bars and restuarants on the main drag into Tsilivi are about 5 mins away just past the chippee and the horse & carts /taxis. The beach is a 10mins stroll from Callinka and we found a short cut - you cross the main road and come out near Friends bar - head down to the Caravel Hotel, go round the corner and your there.The Kaliva Bar is on the corner (I recommend this bar -its great) another bar I would recommend at the other end of town about 25mins walk away is the Paradise bar -this is the best bar in Greece and you can never leave -give a go and try the Yannis Special -there wicked! Have a great holiday at Callinka -as we did .

10/10Arrived back on Sunday from our seventh visit to the Cosmopolitan apartments though small & basic (that's all you need) they are cleaned every day situated in the best spot in town next to the Paradise Bar (best bar in Greece) Tried to book again for next year but unfortunetly we were told the apartments are being renovated and Kosmar the only tour operator that uses the apartments have no contract with them for next year We are trying to find out if we can book direct with the owner's Yiannis & Anna

According to your Tour Operator "Kosmar" they are not taking any bookings for next year. They said the apartments are being renovated and they have no contract with you now - is this true? please advise.

10/10The only tour operator for the Cosmopolitan Apartments / Paradise Bar was Kosmar who went into liqidation last September. Up to date no other company has taken the apartments over. I did hear the owner's Yiannis and Anna are considering arranging direct booking. I'm sure if they did many repeat holiday maker's would book with them, like us, as you can't beat "The Paradise Bar" ....best bar in Greece.

At the moment no other tour company has taken over since Kosmar ceased trading last September. I have heard Yiannis and Anna are trying to arrange for another tour operator to take over or go independant but as yet no news. I will keep you posted if I hear any more.
You could try ringing direct to the Paradise Bar or get in touch with Marios the waiter, he writes post's on here and he is on Facebook

Hi David , The Paradise Bar is at the top end of the villiage going towards Zante town and facing the Calypso Restaurant. I think the Zante Maris is nearer the Plannos end but it's worth a visit and anyone will direct you there either by taxis, horse and trap or just take a lovely stroll right through the heart of the fantastic restaurant area of Tsilivi. We are on holiday then staying at the Plaza Pallas near Bowl-em-Over at the end of May for two weeks and also most of the Tsilivi web site will be there as well just look out for a gang of reprobates wearing British Bulldog T-shirts with the Greek flag on the front and the Tsilivi web site on the back we will be visiting most of the bars including Two Brother's, Friends Bar, Level Bar, The Ark Bar, Sweet Revenge but most of all "The best Bar in Greece" ....The Paradise Bar
