Crystal Beach Hotel - (Accommodation in Kalamaki)

Vic T

This HAS to be the best hotel in Kalamaki - if not on the bay, just 5 steps away from the beach. Spotlessly clean (not even a touch of dust on the furniture or in the Air Conditioned rooms), the staff are cheerful & helpful and relaxing in the covered terrace overlooking the beach cannot be beaten. We booked on the spur of the moment on Tues 3rd July - went Thurs 5th expecting run of the mill holiday accomodation but VERY pleased with the hotel - I cannot find any faults to tell. The hotel's pool is perfect & cleaned every morning before breakfast is finished. Ask your travel agent to arrange for rooms number 112, 113, 114, 115, or 116 as all these are overlooking the pool & beach.

Blue Caves and Shipwreck Cruise - (Zante Excursions)

Having looked at the comments on the Internet before we went on holiday, we had an idea of the good & bad - Go on the Mantalena, this one has quite a lot of space, large air conditioned bar but most of all it has plenty of clean toilets (even after all day out on the sea they were spotlessly clean), the crew are cheerful and helpful and the stops for swimming were just perfect during the hot day - mind you we went on a Sunday (appears not to be so many people) and the sea was like glass - didn't see a single turtle but I can live with that disapointment, cost was equiv to £10 per person which was about £2 or £3 more than some other boats but was worth paying the extra just for the comfort - food & drinks on board are not a rip off either which was supprising.
