Bev, Laganas is about 10 mins away in a taxi, which you can book at reception, the fare is about 8 euros. Or if you're feeling adventurous, you can walk along the cliff way, which takes about 30 mins, but make sure you wear something more suitable than flip flops!!!. Have a great time.

Hi Amy, I'm going back to Tsilivi for the 2nd time, Zante for the 6th time, not stayed at this hotel before, thanks for your info.I was getting worried that no one writes on here any  more, I'm staying in the B&B part of hotel, and am glad it is ok. Has anyone else got any recent reviews?.

We  visited Maestros last week whilst  staying  in Tsilivi,

and were shocked to see what has happened, its all changed, and we think not for the better.!! The only people left, are Paris, who works from about 4pm, 'Micky mouse' Vangelis, who finishes at 4pm, and  Dimitri, who now works on the boats during the day, and then works in a Mexican resteraunt in Laganas in the evengs. Its all gone all inclusive to the Polish mostly, and they dont spend money like us brits used to. Erion is still at breezer bar (thanks for the drinks, sorry we didnt get back to see you again.)We didnt bother eating, as we assumed the menus would have changed as well.Apart from all that, the place still looks as beautiful as ever.! Oh yeah, and they now rip you off when you go to Cameo island, its 5 Euros to enter, but this includes a 'free drink' apart from when you ask for a particular beer that you have to pay for.

Got back from Tsilivi beach last week. This hotel is in a perfect location, right on the beach, and about half way down the main street which runs through Tsilivi. The only gripes we had were about selfish people (English and foreigners), who  actually tied their towels to 'their' sunbeds for the whole time they were there. And the continental breakfast was nothing to write home about,so we ate in the boathouse where  there was plenty of choice, from a full english, to egg or bacon on toast etc.Staff were very helpful and friendly, even to the point of locating my pillow which I took with me, that disappeared towards the end of our 2 weeks.

Would defo  return to this hotel again, although we understand it is going all inclusive next year.
