Waves? well we found that when it was very windy there were big waves, when there was no wind there were small waves. It's not very windy here as Greece goes, for good winds you want to be on the east coast of the islands near Turkey, such as Kos.

Emma,

We took a 2yr old to Kalamaki a few years ago, in June, also to Alykanas the previous Sept / Oct. The weather was OK most days, good for a small child.

Good trips - walk to Laganas along the beach, walk the other way along the beach, catch the bus to Zakynthos town and watch boats, keri caves.

There's lots of restaurants and pools, there's also the little battery cars on tracks if the kids are big enough. Hotel Exotica has a kids playground. A good choice of resort and time for a 2 yr old I thought.
