Tried several restaurants in Alykes during our stay in September 2003. My wife wanted some sausage and mash and this was the only place we found that served it. She was pleased with her food, I had a steak but it was the poorest meal I had during the holiday, although I must say, all our other meals were good/excellent. The most disappointing thing for me was they were not busy and at every opportunity the staff came out for a quick smoke and we are both non-smokers. It certainly put us off.

Visited skippys in September 2003. Food was excellent as were most meals in Alykes. The best meal during our holiday by far was the Beef stifado and the Roast Lamb at Skippys. Cheapest pints in Alykes, but the best thing about the place was the fantastic hospitality. They never rushed you or charged about to get the next customers in and found the time to sit at your table and have a chat. Priceless.
