Hi Folks

I am due to stay at Hotel Pallas with my girlfriend the last 2 weeks of july. I am liking all the good comments about the hotel. Just wondering if any body can help me with a few questions.
1 - is the fridge and air con worth getting (is it 20 euros each / week)
2 - How far is the main strip / general bars & restaurants (walking time)
3 - Can anybody recommend any excursions or good places to go.
4 - Finally what are the pool facilties like for getting a sunbed, also how far is the beach.
Any help would be much appreciated as well as general hints & tips. Its my first time in greece and dont know what to expect.

I am due to go to Zante / Hotel Pallas on Thur. Can anyone tell me how much the air con /fridge / etc cost?
Also what is the road like to the beach / centre is is safe at night / how long / lit - unlit.
Any help would be much appreciated.
