Alamis Apartments - (Accommodation in Tsilivi)

Dan B

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Alamis 1st-15th June 03 and had an excellent stay. The apartments are very modern and spacious. The pool area is clean and well maintained and the pool bar is reasonably priced. Please feed the black and white kitten, he likes the odd slice of cheese!

Porto Zoro Beach - (Beaches in Zante)

Dan B

Excellent beach, fantastic for snorkelling, the water is really clear and shallow so good for kids and non swimmers. Best beach we visited but will need a car to get there.

Don't miss it!!!

Tsilivi Beach - (Beaches in Zante)

Dan B

Nice clean sandy beach, loads of little fish buzzing around you feet so remember to take your snorkel (but didn't see any sharks)! Go for an evening stroll around the small harbour to feed the fish and watch the sunset.

EuroAlfa Car Rental - (Car Rental in Zante)

Dan B

We hired the Green Bug (Daewoo Matiz) for 2 days and it made the holiday. Aggelos is a great bloke, very friendly and helpful. Gave us a good map and suggested some lovely spots to visit. The price includes full insurance with no excess and no hidden extras.

We would recommend Euro Alfa to everyone!

Blue Caves and Shipwreck Cruise - (Zante Excursions)

Dan B

Before booking this tour, remember this is one of Europes most photographed beaches. Don't expect to have a castaway moment and just appreciate the fantastic scenery!

We booked a speedboat tour (seats about 40) through Dionissis tours, 15 euros for a half day trip. This lets you get right into the caves (even through some of them!) and is great for those not wishing to spend all day at sea. They aim to arrive at the shipwreck after all the big boats have left so you get 45 mins on the beach virtually on your own.

The coastline is fantastic, the caves are brilliant (take your snorkell), and the water at the shipwreck is the most brilliant blue you could imagine!

Zakynthos Airport - (Places to Visit in Zante)

Dan B

The worst airport i've ever been to. No we don't want a massive airport on a small island but friendly staff, cleanliness and a bit of space isn't too much to ask for, is it?

It is ridiculously expensive, £7 (10 euros) for 2 cans of coke and a bag of crisps. Filthy, smelly (thats just the departure lounge!) and the toilets are full of flies! take some food for the stray dogs(honestly!) and pretend you're at the zoo!
