My boyfriend and i just got back from you weeks in laganas. It was fantastic. Its more calm at night than other clubbing resorts. Try a Happy Youth fishbowl at the Summertime bar. I felt safe in laganas as we never saw any violence or trouble. Go on a boat trip around the island its a really good day out. Dont book with your rep they are too pricy. Any one staying near the Kalamaki road should eat at Taverna Kostas. Good, cheap food with fantastic service.

i'm ella's boyfriend. laganas is a brilliant place to relax, eat and party. top 2 places you must eat at ; 1. taverna kostas on kalamaki road 2. crystal beach hotel resteraunt in klamaki taxis cost 5 euro's anywhere locally so don't pay more. watch the latest films before they are released at hot lips on kalamki road near kostas. there is a mcdonalds on laganas road near the beach, but why would you eat there as the local food is better and cheaper. try the swordfish it is amazing. i saw no violence when i was there just the usual t**t you get everywhere. don't bother going on the boat with the glass bottom to see the turtles from the beach as the glass is dirty and you can't see anything anyway, so just go on a normal boat. drinking is cheap, with cocktail for the ladies at 2 euro's and for the lads mithos at 1.80. drinking in the club is an expensive business so drink before hand. for the ladies take lots of repellent for the night time not to get bitten on your lovely legs. ella advises me citeronella oil is best as she used it on her long legs and trust me they are long.
